2016 Most Valuable Sports Teams – Real Madrid have been replaced by the Dallas Cowboys as the most valuable sports team in the world, according to Forbes.
Real Madrid have been ranked as the top team in all of sports for the past 3 years, but a 25% increase in the value of the Dallas Cowboys pushed their overall value to $4 billion and enough to leapfrog the European champions.
The Dallas Cowboys are the first non-football team to top the list since it began in 2011, with Manchester United the only other team to lead the rankings. The Dallas Cowboys’ value rise has been helped by the growth of the NFL, who recently negotiated a $900 million TV deal with CBS and NBC.
Real Madrid also recorded a 12% increase in value, pushing their value to $3.65 billion. They are still the most valuable football club, and also boast the highest earning athlete in the world in Cristiano Ronaldo. See the full top 10 below.

Da L.E.S has been accused of cheating on his baby mama with her best friend. By now we all know the term “Ho” is bisexual.
Aurea Alexander, DA L.E.S’s baby mama and partner has served her baby daddy and former partner a “call a ho out” card as she dragged him and his side chick who also happens to be her best friend, Missy Roberts, on Twitter.
Aurea claimed the two have been creeping behind her back.
The bitter woman took to twitter where she shared a series of tweets calling out her baby daddy and his side chick, Missy Roberts.
The banter read:
Fuck all these fake hoes man! I don’t give a fuck anymore. I could call out a lot more but Missy actually pretended to be my best friend.
@MissyRobertsxo Everyone warned me about you from day one saying you’re using our friendship to be close to les! All true.”
I mean you had tears in your eyes claiming how much our friendship meant to you @MissyRobertsxo you’re a joke just like my baby daddy.
Hi @MissyRobertsxo I’m just letting you know that @2freshLES is single now so you can fuck him freely… Maybe you’ll upgrade from side hoe.
While the feud was causing a broiling TWar, Twitter users decided to bring in AKA and Bonang Matheba into the affair since both men are friends and what’s the old adage again?, “Show me your friends and I’ll….”
Other users couldn’t help but compare DA L.E.S’s baby mama versus side-chick drama with that of AKA, DJ Zinhle and Bonang Matheba.
Bonang Matheba was aaccused of snatching AKA from DJ Zinhle who has a child for the rapper.
One user wrote, “I guess he looks up to AKA. Same situation. Yes? No? shrugs.”
Just as another tweeted, “@REArockinjays Sana it’s tough out there, trust NO ONE. Zintle is doing just fine after Bonang chowed her baby daddy nawe uzoba right sis.”
As for Missy’s response, the accused side chick said she has no idea what the scorned baby mama was talking about.
While tweeting a “guys don’t date a rapper” post, Missy wrote, “Some of us are at work. I hope there are receipts. Me I don’t know what’s happening la. But please refrain from making outrageous accusations on the TL and cry “freedom of speech” because you’re too dumb to understand ‘defamation’.”
Two men, four women, and two babies… Seems like the perfect plot for a great story…
Lee Chapman who happens to be Jamie Vardy’s Lookalike Fears Leaving The House
Lee Chapman has been enjoying his recent fame as a Jamie Vardy lookalike. Being able to demand £250 an appearance has been very lucrative for the postman from Leicester but he is now considering quitting his public association with the footballer.
Since England’s embarrassing Euro 2016 campaign, Lee Chapman has been the unfortunate subject of abuse on Social Media.
A Connor B replied to a Domino’s promotion tweet featuring Lee:
“@dominos_UK @Lee_Chappy A lookalike was the best you could get? This lad looks like he wants to f*** kids more than kick a ball, poor”
There have also been pictures edited of him holding up a sign with the text, “# I am a nonce” as well as a Nathan Daniels tweeting “What a f***in rent boy!”.
This abuse has unsettled Lee and he claims he cannot even go in to Tesco.
Lee Chapman said
“When Leicester won the league I was on top of the world – everybody loved Vardy and they thought I was him.
“Now that the team have done so badly in the Euros, all I’m getting is a stream of abuse. But I just watched the tournament on the telly like everybody else!”
Bonang Matheba has revealed she doesn’t want babies but what does her baby boy AKA have to say about that?
As fans tuned in to listen to her show The Front Row on Metro FM, AKA’s girlfriend informed her co-hosts, JayJay and Naked DJ, she never wants to have a child.
Though, she had the perfect venue in mind for anyone who was interested in getting a good spot for a baby shower.
“If I ever have a child, which is never, I know the right spot for a baby shower.” Bonang said.
Queen B is bluntly telling anyone who’s expecting to get an invite to her bridal shower to wait no further as babies aren’t in her agenda, not today, tomorrow nor ever.
Bonang continued that if she ever had to plan a baby shower for her friends or family, “the Four Seasons Hotel would be the perfect spot for a baby shower.”
Funny she chose the same hotel where she was spotted hanging out with her man AKA, over the weekend.
While her co-presenters and listeners were taken aback by her statement, her co-hosts further inquired, if she doesn’t want to “take care of someone and enjoy the joys of motherhood?.”
Bonang explained that she already had her hands filled with the responsible of someone.
“I have a little brother, I am good.” She said while adding that right now, her brother was quite a handful.
Meanwhile, earlier this year in Namibia, Bonang told an audience at The Masters of Success project, that she wouldn’t want her child to be in the entertainment industry.
She clarified, “This thing is terrible, an not terrible in the sense that one says; ‘Make it stop’ but there is so much that comes with it, that it withers away at the reasons why it was meant to be good in the first place.”
The media personality added, “There is so much pressure, so much turmoil and so much expected of you that you get to a point where you forget why you started doing it in the first place,” Bonang added.
She doesn’t want a baby but she is choosing a spot where she hangs out with her man as a good spot to throw baby showers for other people.
A former Burundi minister for East African Community (EAC) affairs, Hafsa Mossi, has been shot dead by unknown gunmen outside her home in Bujumbura.
Mossi, who was an MP in the East African parliament and a former BBC Swahili service journalist, was shot dead in the capital Bujumbura on Wednesday, police said.
“Hon. Mossi assassinated 10.30 in Gihosha”, in the east of Bujumbura by, “two criminals in a vehicle,” police spokesman Pierre Nkurikiye said on Twitter.
“She was near her home and a tinted car knocked her from behind, she went out to see what happened and was shot twice,” a close relative told also told The EastAfrican.
She was Burundi’s information minister and government spokeswoman between 2005-2007, and was, at the time of her death, a member of the East African Legislative Assembly, a regional parliament.
The killing is the latest in a series of targeted assassinations of top government officers by unknown armed groups.
Mossi, a former journalist in her 50s, was a member of President Pierre Nkurunziza’s ruling CNDD-FDD party.
Nkurunziza’s controversial but ultimately successful bid for a third term last year triggered a deadly crisis that has killed more than 500 people and driven around 270,000 to leave the country.
Several senior military officers close to the president have been assassinated since the start of the crisis in April 2015, but Mossi, who was not regarded as a party hardliner, is the first senior politician to be killed.
Shouldn’t The Death Penalty Apply To Corrupt Public Officials?
The tallest building in the world is the Burj Khalifa, in Dubai, UAE which was completed in 2010 after six years of construction. The building is 829.8 m tall (the length of eight football fields placed in a long line) and cost $1.5 billion (over N500 billion) to build. Dubai built the Burj Khalifa as part of its ambitious plans to diversify its economy away from its oil dependency into tourism.
The building is home to 1,044 luxury apartments and 49 floors of offices. About 12,000 people live and work in the tower, which is part of a 500-acre development. It’s one of the favourite tourist attractions in the world, and it costs over $200 dollars to make a trip to the top of its observation deck.

On the other side of the Middle East, Saudi Arabia is presently building what will, upon completion, be the tallest building in the world (taking the crown from the Burj Khalifa), the $1.23 billion ( over N400 billion) Kingdom Tower. The development of the building is being driven by Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, who is considered the wealthiest man in the Middle East, as the anchor point for an entire new city being constructed near the port city of Jeddah. These two building that would further transform the economic life of their cities/countries are being built for just over $1 billion each.
Meanwhile in Nigeria, a certain Sokoto prince called Sambo Dasuki and a coterie of political bandits in the former ruling party (PDP) stand accused of receiving $2.1 billion (over N700 billion) for the purchase of military weapons from the Central Bank of Nigeria over a nine-month period in 2014 and simply diverting the monies to private use. This inherently is the difference between Nigeria and a country/state like Dubai. With a population of 2.1 million, Dubai produces about 70,000 barrels of oil a day, while Nigeria with a population of 170 million produces about 1.9 million barrels a day.
Dubai is a city with an absolute monarch and no real democracy, Nigeria is a democracy that keeps electing incompetent kleptomaniacs when it’s not being raped by military dictators. 15 to 20 years ago, Dubai’s leader Sheikh Maktoum identified four factors to build its economy on – trade, real estate and construction, financial services, and tourism. And he then spent the next 20 years providing the structure for this; building two world standard sea ports to make Dubai the transshipment port of choice for goods from and to Asia; building two international class airports to make Dubai the aviation hub for the Middle East, building a world class airline to service those airports and then building a tourism industry in the middle of the desert by constructing bigger and bigger tourism focused marvels. Conversely, in Nigeria, government after government came and introduced different policies, then gave up implementing them and focused on stealing monies meant for development. This is the trend that has now been continued to a ludicrous level by Mr. Dasuki and his fellow brigands. He and a coterie of political jobbers stole money meant for military operations against Boko Haram, directly leading to the death of soldiers and innocent civilians across the North-Eastern states.
For a second, let’s consider what the $2.1 billion (over N700 billion) would have done if properly utilised. The Dangote Foundation recently started work on a 1000 capacity hospital in Kano at a cost of $12.3 million. Using this as a bench mark, $2.1 billion would have built 170 hospitals with 1000 beds across Nigeria (that’s 17,000 hospital beds) which would have provided healthcare to more than eight million Nigerians per year, assuming they each stay in the hospital for just a week.
That’s eight million lives saved or impacted out of a population of 170 million. The money would also have paid for the construction of the long proposed Fourth Mainland bridge in Lagos which would be eighth kilometres long, and has a projected cost of $1.6 billion. The stolen funds would also have covered most of the cost of the Lagos Metro Line, projected at $2.4 billion. All the above projects would have dramatically improved the quality of life in Nigeria. Instead the money ended up in the pockets of already rich politicians.
This is the amount of money simply shared by a miserable, privileged collection of thieves and high office brigands, made possible because their principal (our peace loving former president) allowed it to happen.
Hence, once and for all let us deal with the issue of corruption in Nigeria by doing the following: Let’s create a special court to try corruption cases with concurrent jurisdiction with the Federal High Court. All cases must be tried and concluded within a year, including their appeals. Then let us review the punishment for people convicted of corruption.
I would propose that the punishment be based on the value of the stolen monies in the following manner: If you steal between N10 million and N500 million, you get 20 years imprisonment without the option of paying a fine; between N500 million and N1 billlion – 30 years imprisonment without the option of paying a fine; between N1 billion and N10 billion – life imprisonment, and above N10 billion, you would be executed by firing squad at what is left of the Bar Beach in Victoria Island.

There were apparent indications of tension and commotion at the resumed session of the National Assembly on Tuesday, when a senator suggested the commencement of the impeachment of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The main topic of discussion during the session, which led to the suggestion of impeachment, it was learnt, was on the Senate rules forgery suit.
It was gathered that the suggestion was made by Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe (PDP, Abia South), when the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters Senator David Umaru read the report of his Committee on the summoning of the Attorney General of the Federation, Mr. Abubakar Malami over the Senate Rules forgery suit.
Both the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and his Deputy, Ike Ekweremadu and two others are currently standing trial over the forgery of Senate Rules.
A well informed source, close to the polity, disclosed that quite a number of senators were emphatic that President Buhari had serially breached some provisions of the Constitution, thereby leaving the situation as if the Senate lacked teeth to bite.
Sources also disclosed that the Attorney-General for the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami was at the centre stage of the discussion, with almost Senators of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and those of APC sympathetic to Saraki, complaining that the AGF was undermining Nigeria’s democracy by utterly disregarding the Senate invitation.
Another sources disclosed that the intent of a majority of the senators was to move for the suspension of their colleagues and for the upper chamber to stamp its authority as an arm of government independent of the executive.
In this respect, the senators resolved that there was no case of the alleged forgery and warned those behind the case to withdraw it from the court.
Kevin Hart is the real definition of hustle smart, keep your game tight and aim to break the norm.
These three strategies got a little black boy with a mouth of jokes, big dreams and no dime to the number six spot of Forbes 2016 Global Celebrity Earners knocking off Lionel Messi and Adele.
Hart raked in $87.5 million from his tours after playing over a hundred shows in one year. Each show churning in almost a million dollars in sold-out tickets.
How did he get richer than Adele or Messi? Kevin Hart did what no other comedian alive had attempted, turning comedy shows to tours.
Each show outmassing the other as he filled audiences of over forty-thousand capacity.
He is the first comedian to ever earn more than Jerry Seinfeld.
Born Kevin Darnell Hart in July 6, 1979, he and his only brother, Robert Hart, were raised by his single-mum, Nancy Hart.
His father, Henry Witherspoon was a cocaine-addict who spent more time in jail than actually playing his role as his father during his childhood.
The comic-actor turned to humor as a means to escape from his troubled family.
Hart moved to New York City to attend community college after graduating high school. From there, he relocated to Massachusetts where he sold shoes to make ends meet.
The 37-year-old began his career in stand-up comedy after performing for the first time at an amateur night at a club in Philadelphia.
After noticing he had the charm to make people laugh with his life story, he began chasing comedy full-time which saw him win several amateur comedy competitions at clubs throughout New England.
Kevin Hart finally got his first real break in 2000 when he was cast by Judd Apatow for a recurring role on the TV series Undeclared.
Though the series had only one season, Hart had carved a brand for himself as he soon landed other roles in movies like Paper Soldiers, 2002, Scary Movie 3 , 2003, Soul Plane, 2004, In the Mix, 2005, and Little Fockers, 2010.
He also released his first stand-up album I’m a Grown Little Man in 2008, and two more comedy albums, Seriously Funny in 2010 and Laugh at My Pain in 2011 which set a record as one the year’s top selling comedy tours with an earning of $15 million.
Kevin was just getting started.
A jack-of-all-trades, master-of all, Kevin Hart is an actor, comedian, writer, and producer.
Hart’s fame spiraled upwards with his feature in the 2012 hit love-comedy, Think Like A Man.
Since then, every movie he has been cast in became a hit, such as, Grudge Match, 2013, Ride Along, 2014, About Last Night, 2014, Get Hard, 2015 and Central Intelligence, 2016.
He co-created the hit TV show, Real Husbands of Hollywood, where he plays the lead as himself.
Hart was named as Times 100 Most Influential People In The World, 2015.
Rather than sink in the story of his past, Kevin used the very thing which would break some as his stepping stone to greatness.
Rather than cry and feel sorry about his childhood misfortune, Kevin Hart used his troubled family stories to make others laugh, which has made him crazy rich.
The Nigerian Army has confirmed the recovery of at least 25 bodies of Boko Haram terrorists, who were slain, after Troops of 119 Task Force Battalion stationed in Kangarwa northern Borno state repelled an attack on Tuesday night.
A statement issued on Wednesday by acting Army Spokesman, Colonel Sani Usman, revealed that the attack which started at about 6:30 p.m. was successfully repelled after about three hours of exchange of heavy gunfire that inflicted tremendous casualty on the terrorists.
It stated that one soldier died, while 11 others were wounded in action and one of the unit’s Gun truck was badly damaged.
“As at this morning, the troops counted 25 bodies of the Boko Haram terrorists and recovered 2 Rocket Propelled Grenades 7 (RPG 7) tubes, a 60mm Mortar tube, 2 Machine Guns, 12 AK-47 rifles and one Light Machine Gun.
“The body of the gallant soldier and those wounded in action are being evacuated, while the unit is carrying out mop-up operation,’’ it stated.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Kangarwa had been a stronghold of the insurgents in northern Borno until it was recaptured by the Nigerian forces.
This is even as the Arabian leadership threatened to punish any pilgrim who smuggles the commodity in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom.
A statement as regards to the prohibition was issued on Tuesday by the spokesman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Uba Mana.
The statement read: “By this, all Nigerian intending pilgrims are advised to adhere strictly to the Saudi Arabia rules and regulations on prohibited items. Also, State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards/Agencies/Commissions as well as all the licensed Tour Operators are to properly enlighten their pilgrims on the matter. On its own part, the Commission will not hesitate to sanction any Pilgrim Boards/Agencies/Commissions or Tour Operators which flout the instruction.”
Mana also said that the commission has commenced the co-ordination of capturing of data of intending pilgrims for the issuance of 2016 Hajj visa, adding that 15,531 pilgrims have been captured so far.
“The Commission, therefore, advises all intending pilgrims across the country to immediately submit their e-passports to their respective State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards/Agencies/Commissions for further processing,” he said.
If you’re a DC Comics fan, you’d probably love the Television series, The Flash. You actually many not even have read any of the comic books and still love the show which brings a number of villainous characters for the speedster to battle and save his universe. With Season 2 ending in June, it’s time to look at the heroes and villains that will be joining season 3 of the show.
Season 3 is expected to have our hero, Barry Allen go back in time to save his mother from dying which in turn creates a totally different ‘present day’ which results in chaos. One of the consequences of Barry’s actions is the creation of new heroes and villains in central city. As the flash returns later in the year, here are 4 Characters to expect in the new season of the show. Doctor Polaris
In the comic books, different people have taken on the moniker of Doctor Polaris but that of Doctor Neil Emerson appears to be the most interesting. This may be because Emerson was a logical and calm person before his transformation into Doctor Polaris. This brought an immense change into his person as he became unstable, confused and angry making him a great villainous character.
The split personality disorder of Doctor Polaris would make a great addition to The Flash. His power of magnetism and his crazy attitude is one thing that will sure give The Flash a run for his money in season 3, if he is considered for television.
Another thing that will make Doctor Polaris a great addition to season 3 is that he will bring flexibility to the show and allow a villainous character that can appear in multiple episodes while also bringing formidable opposition to the good guys.
Anyone that is conversant with DC Comics will remember Clayface as a Batman villain but this character can most likely be a great addition to The Flash. The way Arrow and The Flash is set up, there is no end to the type of villainous characters that can appear on these comic shows that have been converted to television shows. Arrow has specifically taken Batman villains such as Ra’s al Ghul, Firefly, Dollmaker which makes it most likely that The Flash can also borrow Clayface to light up Central city. Clayface has the ability to change his size, shape and appearance which makes a lot of sense given the Meta-human vibe of the show.
More so, the ability of Clayface to disguise himself as other humans will make him perfect for the small screen and a great character for The Flash to tackle.

Bart Allen is one of the famous speedsters from the comic books. He is different from the others in that he is supposedly from the 30th century as opposed to other speedsters from the present or immediate past. What makes him more amazing is the fact that he also happens to be the grandson of Barry Allen, the present Flash.
Bart Allen is also known as impulse or the kid flash from the books and was brought to the present day to help find a cure for his superspeed ability that makes him age rapidly. If the television show opts to have Bart Allen turn up, it would be a good way to set the fun for explosive action in season 3.
Rag Doll is one great character from the DC comic books that offers a lot of potentials for Season 3 of The Flash. The rogue character of the Rag Doll is one that has transformed over the years been that it has the potential to amass a cult follower ship while also posing threat to The Flash and his friends. Rag Doll is a master contortionist that has the ability to hypnotize everyone around him to do whatever he likes. His other strengths include being able to withstand beatings and violence done to him which will surely make him a handful if he appears in season 3 of The Flash.
In DC Comics, Rag Doll is able to use his charm to get people to do his bidding on the fictional streets of Starman’s Opal City. Bringing Rag Doll to Central City will bring a lot of fast-paced fun and excitement to the new season of The Flash.

A fight is being planned as a main event bout in Las Vegas, with October 29 or November 5 being eyed as possible dates. No opponent has yet been announced for the fight.
“The question is building availability because we want to do the fight in Las Vegas,” Arum said about the new dates. “He now has given us the go-ahead to shop for a venue and an opponent and see if we can do it on a particular date or dates,” Arum said. “We’ve been trying to work out a date that doesn’t interfere with his senatorial responsibilities and his ability to train.”

I want to make it clear — my priority is my legislative works,” he said. “My next fight has not yet been discussed. Should there be any, I’ll make sure it will not interfere with my senate duties.”

Two soldiers paid the ultimate price of death, while 7 others were wounded as troops of 119 Task Force Battalion stationed in Kangarwa northern Borno State successfully repelled an attack by Boko Haram terrorists in a surprise ambush action, the Nigerian Army said on Tuesday evening.

“It was the biggest fight for the troops in recent weeks,” army authorities said.
The statement also added: “The successful repelling of the attack was made possible by support from the Nigerian and Chadian Air Force fighter jets.”
It was learnt that the Chief of Defence staff was on Thursday in the Kangarwa frontline to commend gallant soldiers shortly after it was captured by the troops.

Oil workers under the aegis of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) and the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) have called off their six-day old strike after a meeting with the Federal Government.
On Wednesday morning, the leadership of the unions called on its members nationwide to resume work with immediate effect after its National Executive Committee meeting.
The decision to suspend the industrial action may not be unconnected to the outcome of the two-day meeting the leadership of the unions had with the Ministry of Labour and Employment and Ministry of Petroleum Resources, which addressed all unresolved issues in the oil and gas industry.
In a statement issued at the end of the meeting by Chris Ngige, the Ministry of Labour and Employment, it was concluded that only one government agency had been affected by the non-implementation of 2015 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
It was agreed that the National Salaries Incomes and Wages Commission and the Budget and National Planning Ministry would make corrections to be effective from March 1, 2015.
In the meeting, the talks also covered the planned restructuring of the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency; Department of Petroleum Resources; Nigeria Content Development Management Board; Petroleum Training Institute; and Nigeria Nuclear Regulatory Agency; Petroleum Equalisation Fund; and Petroleum Technology Development Fund.
