Ukraine Announce Andriy Shevchenko As Head Coach – Ukraine have announced the appointment of former talisman Andriy Shevchenko as the team’s new head coach.

The appointment is Shevchenko’s first as a manager, and he’d be hoping to win as much as he did as player. The former AC Milan striker replaces Mykhaylo Fomenko, who resigned after failing to win a single game at the 2016 UEFA European Championships.

Shevchenko’s legendary scoring skills saw him win the 2004 Ballon D’Or. He was a prolific scorer at both Milan and Dynamo Kiev, and scored 48 goals in 111 appearances for the national team. He has a host of winners medals to his name, including 5 consecutive league medals with Dynamo Kiev, and the Champions League with AC Milan.

39-year old Shevchenko has already appointed former AC Milan defender Mauro Tassotti as one of his coaches. His contract reportedly expires after the 2018 World Cup, which Russia is hosting.

The Azealia Banks Facebook Page Is Serving Clap Backs And Obnoxious Facts

Featured Image

Azealia Banks is sitting all-too-proudly on her throne as “the most widely criticized and widely ignored artist of all time” but she doesn’t mind.

She has more than enough time to respond to anyone who has something nasty to say abouther, just as she called a Facebook user a “maggot”, and asked one to stop reading her posts if he had a problem with it.

Facebook user by the name Todd called her a bitch.

He said, “But you also just seem like a bitch. And I think you got something that you can’t handle…”

At which Azealia Banks replied, “You see how readily a man will call you a bitch. Now if I call you a maggot, then the whole world loses its mind.

Trust me, I’m not a bitch, I’m sick of white men (regardless of sexual orientation) having the privilege to be as nasty and rude as they want to women.

Then running and hiding behind the GLAAD tablecloth when shit gets real.”

Clap back..

She also shared FUN FACTS which one might assume are obnoxious, but again, she’s Azaelia Banks, she says what she wants.
FUN FACT: Up against the likes of incredibly talented and established actresses like Keke Palmer and Teyana Taylor, Azealia Banks was cast as the lead character in upcoming Lionsgate release titled “Coco,” after only one audition.
Directed by RZA (originally of Wu-Tang Clan), the feature film is set for release in April 2017.
Filmed entirely in NYC, The star-studded cast includes a most queenly and regal, Jill Scott, as well as uber-charismatic rap legend, Common.
FUN FACT: Azealia Banks created her own genre of music called “Witch-Hop.”
Coined by the success of 2012’s Fantasea Mixtape, Azealia considers her music to be inspired by the invisible world.
3 days after “Witch-Hop” was declared by Azealia Banks to be a legitimate genre, Lady Gaga (also a fan of Azealia Banks) suspiciously titled her then upcoming studio album, “Artpop.”
Some users observed she was overreaching.

Rawlings And Abacha’s Blood Money – Louis Odion

Featured Image

Like a witch undergoing the last purgation at death’s door, J.J Rawlings’ tongue dramatically came unhinged last week in a fit of abominable rant, thereby diminishing whatever remained of his moral capital as a possible hero of post-colonial Africa. He granted an exclusive interview to The Guardian published last Sunday. But by dabbling in Nigerian affairs in a manner that exposes a shallow understanding of the nation’s history and greed for dollars, the man once fondly called “Junior Jesus” only succeeded in giving himself away as perhaps the ultimate political Judas.

This piece was written by Louis Odion. The views and opinions expressed here are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of 360Nobs.com.

In retrospect, regardless of his canonisation in the 1980s and 90s in some quarters, there remains some murky aspects to Rawlings’ twenty-year reign in Ghana that the tide of history simply cannot sweep out of human memory. True, his political career – first as military lawgiver and later an elected president – was remarkable in populism. But besides that are also the tales of mass murder and impunity. Hundreds of opposition figures, including outspoken journalists and independent-minded Supreme Court judges, were assassinated or simply disappeared. Sadly, their unresolved cases are now, more or less, classified as part of Ghana’s political folklore.

What all of these then fed, in turn, over the years, was Rawlings’ sense of impunity. The underlying narcissist complex was very much on display in The Guardian interview under reference where he tried, though in futility, to rehabilitate the tainted memory of his benefactor and Nigerian dictator, Sani Abacha, whom he presented in flattering terms as “one hell of a nationalist and very patriotic” person who “saved the country”.

When Rawlings chooses to speak so loftily of otherwise discredited Abacha, ascribing to him more or less the toga of a messiah, even after it had become public knowledge that he once received a bribe of $2 million ($5 million?) from the Nigerian despot, the joke is actually on the former Ghanaian president.

At the last count, what Abacha stole and stashed away in foreign vaults was conservatively put at $5 billion. Now, all that the three former heads of state of Ghana were accused of embezzling and for which they were in 1979 summarily “sprayed like mosquitoes”, to borrow Rawlings’ own euphemism, is not up to five percent of Abacha’s loot. The eight top military officers Rawlings had executed in the great purge of 1979, without fair trial, included Rear Admiral Amedume and General Roger Felli, whose only crimes were in leveraging their official statuses to take bank loans!

But the great Rawlings, who often boiled in rage with blood-shot eyes at the mention of corruption while in power, suddenly began to act funny a few years ago when one of his political disciples, Tsikata Tsikata, was jailed by a succeeding administration over impropriety reportedly costing Ghanaian taxpayers a fortune.

In a fit of anger, he sent invitations to journalists to a world press conference to lambast the executive and the judiciary for their temerity. Only for the session to be called off suddenly before the scheduled take-off. The story is told that Rawlings was tipped off that some of the journalists were coming armed with a mischievous question of: whether he ever heard of the old story of eight officers killed in 1979 over alleged corruption.

Of course, in a way, the leak in 1998 of Abacha’s multi-million dollar bribe to Rawlings had confirmed the misuse and abuse of the nation’s resources in the deluded pursuit of influence or favour. By Rawlings’ confession, the donation was unsolicited. All he saw was a car pulling up and someone attempting to drag out a suitcase laden with dollars, right there in the open in Accra. Out of public decency, he reportedly waved the guy to hold it. He saved his next word till they had walked to a discreet corner.

When he finally confronted Abacha’s emissary, who he identified in The Guardian interview as Ismaila Gwarzo (then National Security Adviser) and described as “noble, quiet-looking, respectable-looking”, Rawlings claimed he was told the largesse was from Abacha. (With another NSA currently embroiled in the scandal of sharing $15b arms funds, we now know the seeds of infamy were sown in that office long ago).

Now, just witness the sleazy words addressed to Gwarzo by the sitting president of a whole nation after apparently losing self-inhibition at the sight of mint-fresh dollars, sounding more like the would-be receiver of a stolen valuable weighing the risk: “I hear you people don’t provide assistance without the world hearing it with a twist.” Then, he added: “Don’t think that when you bring this, whatever it is, that would shut me up from criticising if I think you are wrong, or if I disagree”.

To this “conditionality”, Rawlings quoted Gwarzo as retorting: “Sir, we need you more than you need us.”

Well, the visiting NSA could not be more forthright. Abacha’s dollars was to buy the conscience of Rawlings and other African leaders as tyranny deepened in Nigeria. Against that backdrop, it then becomes easier now to situate the conspiracy of silence among the nation’s neighbours in the west coast and indeed across the African continent while sheer terror was being unleashed on the opposition in those dark days. Three kinds of fate awaited dissents then: the grave, the gulag or exile. Ostracised by the civilised countries over the June 12 crisis, the diminutive tyrant holed up in Abuja now sought to, in Wole Soyinka’s words, bring Nigeria down to his level.

Under Abacha, Nigeria resorted to the company of fellow political reprobates. Abuja simply became the preferred destination of other dictators on the continent, as well as political scoundrels and scavengers looking for what to eat under the guise of “solidarity visits”. As the Rawlings’ testimony has revealed, there was an unending flow of suitcases of dollars as honorarium. Only a few like Nelson Mandela refused to be bought to the level of turning a blind eye to the unspeakable evil unfolding in Nigeria then. Initially, Mandela’s attitude to Abuja was that of critical solidarity against western “meddlesomeness”, naively assuming a uniquely African solution could be found.

By the time the playwright Ken Saro-Wiwa, alongside eight others, was hanged after a sham trial on November 10, 1995, the South African hero finally realised he was dealing with a demon. Henceforth, he related to Abacha in that light.

But the spell of dollars and the prospects of more briefcases would seem too overwhelming for the likes of Rawlings then to stand straight and speak in clear and unmistakable terms against the atrocities in Nigeria. And the free dollars from Nigeria would probably have gone unacknowledged publicly had Abacha not ended in the way he did. When Gwarzo was held to account for the billions that had passed through his hands under the guise of “national security”, he listed, among others, that Rawlings, yes the same revolutionarily incorruptible JJ, had quietly benefitted to the tune of $5 million.

Of course, the man so implicated was doubly discomfited. On top of the shame of being exposed would seem deep anger at being swindled. As Rawlings insisted in the interview, the amount counted in the briefcase Gwarzo handed him was actually $2 million, not the $5 million documented in Abuja.

But Rawlings’ thunderous denunciation of corruption today would have made more sense had he taken a step further to furnish us with the details of how the $2 million received was utilised for Ghana’s direct benefit to demonstrate the transparency he is ever quick to evangelise about. For instance, after Abacha’s courier departed, was the entire cash fully or partly declared to Ghana’s exchequer? How was it recorded: “unsolicited foreign aid”? “Stomach infrastructure” from Nigeria or – to ensure some confidentiality – simply a kind neighbourly gesture? These were the simple – yet critical – details the self-assigned anti-corruption warrior of Ghana conveniently chose to deny us.

Perhaps, the dollars Rawlings collected could still have been justified as a fair price for his silence had the verbal diarrhea that permeated the entire interview not also led him into making a more colossal gaffe on MKO. Who, other than a psychopath with warped values, could have spoken so callously of the memory of MKO in the manner Rawlings did? Hear him again: “Some may not want to hear it. But the departure of that gentleman called (MKO) Abiola, the one who passed away, saved Nigeria from a probable explosion.”

There are a few inferences to be made from the foregoing statement. An endorsement of the popularly held – though clinically unproven – notion that Abiola was willfully “murdered” via a cup of poisoned tea with a view to forcing a closure to the June 12 conundrum.

Well, shedding the blood of the innocent may not mean much to a depraved dictator like Rawlings whose hands are still wet till date with the blood of three of his predecessors summarily executed in 1979. But rejoicing at MKO’s “departure”, as the former Ghanaian leader did, is to misread the historic portents of June 12, the cause of which Abiola was unwilling to compromise. It was adjudged the fairest and freest poll in Nigeria’s electoral history at the time.

Besides, in one single day, the nation’s age-old fault-lines of religion and ethnicity were miraculously healed. MKO, a southerner, defeated his challenger, Othman Tofa, in his native Kano in the North. The Muslim-Muslim ticket also broke the sectarian barrier by winning massively in the predominantly Christian South-South and South-East. These historic gains were sadly allowed to waste by the treacherous Ibrahim Babangida and his perfidious apologists. Indeed, those unconscionable acts of yesterday partly explain the monumental mess Nigeria finds herself in today.

By the way, one hopes President Buhari would not succumb to the emotional blackmail in Rawlings’ effusive praise of him in that interview. Perhaps, it is time to renew the bid initiated in 1998. Upon discovery of the nocturnal payment that year, then head of state, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, had politely asked Rawlings for a refund. A request he never dignified with even a reply. Now, with the receiver openly admitting collecting $2 million from Abacha, it would not be out of place to ask EFCC to explore diplomatic means to ensure Rawlings makes a refund in the spirit of the chastity the man himself speaks so passionately about today.

Bouquet for Two Golden Ladies

With the rise of Theresa May on Wednesday as the new British Prime Minister to join Germany’s resilient Angela Merkel and the prospects of Hillary Clinton emerging as Barack Obama’s successor in the United States later in November, the world may indeed be seeing the last days of male chauvinism in global politics. In the times ahead, men will be left with no choice than accept the loss of power to their gender opposite in the new world order.

Back home, a great many of our resourceful ladies are surely making great advances in commerce and public service, far more than the nation seems willing to acknowledge.

Two good examples are Mrs. Catherine Orobosa Agba and Mrs. Yemi Keri (YK) who turned 50 Thursday and Wednesday respectively.

A little start-up Mrs. Agba set up many years ago in the humblest of circumstances has today morphed into Oak Exclusive Designs, a big player in the country’s bourgeoning corporate branding sector. Though she originally obtained a degree in Languages from then Bendel State University (now Ambrose Alli University) in 1987, she proceeded to chart a different course for herself in the business world. Apart from Oak, Mrs. Agba, married to Prince Clem Agba (current Edo Commissioner of Environment), today sits on the boards of many blue chip companies.
Mrs. Keri’s story is no less inspiring. She is presently the Consultant, ICT unit of the National Pensions Commission. But her glory preceded her present station. There is no way the history of the ICT revolution mounted by the Adams Oshiomhole administration in Edo State would be written without Keri occupying a giant space.

With regards to the automation of governance processes in Edo State between 2008 and 2015, credit for the success recorded by the ICT agency belongs substantially to a team of technocrats whose focus and tenacity gave life to the dream of the political authority. YK led this cell of torchbearers as the Managing Director. A first-class professional, her resilience at the hands of jaded bureaucrats allergic to reforms, her can-do spirit over the wiles and treachery of beneficiaries of the old order, helped steer Oshiomhole’s reforms to fruition.

She typifies the Nigerian repatriate who parlays specialised knowledge acquired overseas to add value to his/her fatherland. She obtained her first degree in Accounting in Nigeria before proceeding to the United States to cap it with a Master’s in Information Technology from the prestigious American InterContinental University, Illinois. She received further training in Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Thereafter, she worked with SAP, the world’s leading Business Process Solution Provider, as the Regional Director for West Africa. From there, she became Managing Director of FCB, a subsidiary of Centrespread FCB, South Africa’s advertising giant. Before returning to Nigeria to work for her native Edo State.

Here is wishing the two amazons many more years of fulfilment in service to the country and many happy return of the day.

8 Boko Haram Suspects Die Monthly Of Malnutrition, Torture In Cameroon Prisons

At least 8 suspected supporters of terror group, Boko Haram, are dying each month of disease, malnutrition and in some cases torture in prisons in Cameroon, a rights group said on Thursday.

According to Amnesty International, more than 1,000 people accused of supporting Boko Haram in Cameroon are being detained in military bases and prisons, often without any evidence, and dozens are dying from disease, malnutrition and torture.

During a report presentation In Nairobi on Thursday, Amnesty Researcher, Ilaria Allegrozzi, disclosed that:

“We are not necessarily talking about Boko Haram fighters, but about normal people who happened to be in the wrong place in the wrong time. “In the fight against Boko Haram, innocent people are paying the price.”

She also accused the authority of holding many people at illegal detention sites in military bases run by Cameroonian troops before being transferred to official prisons.

Extrajudicial killings by the security forces were also documented in the report, including six cases where it says suspects were tortured to death.

Ed Sheeran And Other British Stars Stand Against Reselling Of Concert Tickets

Featured Image

British Stars such as Ed Sheeran, One Direction, Arctic Monkeys, Iron Maiden, Little Mix, and Noel Gallagher are some of Britain’s stars supporting a new campaign against reselling of concert tickets.

The petition by Fair Alliance which was set up in May and has already garnered 44,000 signatures called for the government in the UK to “place tougher restrictions on websites that resell concert tickets.”

While speaking at the launch of the Fair Alliance in London, Thursday, (July, 14) manager of Arctic Monkeys, Ian McAndrew said one of the aims of the petition was to “make it easier for fans to buy tickets”.

“The aim of the FanFair Alliance is to take a unified stand against rampant profiteering in the secondary ticketing market. We are also urging the Government to take measures and commit resources to enforce existing legislation.”

McAndrew also stated one recurring complaint he received from fans was the practice of secondary ticketing where marketers bought bulk tickets and advertised for resell online at ridiculously-inflated prices.

The secondary ticketing or ticketing touts market is speculated to be worth over £1 billion per year with four major secondary ticketing websites listed as,Getmein, Stubhub, Iagogo, Seatwave.

Part of the Alliance’s claims in its declaration include, “Industrial-scale online ticket touting is ripping off fans. It is also hugely damaging to artists at all levels of their careers and to music businesses across the board.

“Because UK consumer law is not currently enforced, touts can act with impunity and under the cloak of anonymity: hacking into online ticketing systems, scalping inventory, inflating prices and profiteering via under-regulated resale sites.”

Fair Alliance also stated several steps it believes will assist the UK government in solving the problem, such as stronger enforcement of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, increased transparency, “Proper corporate responsibility” from the websites and the abuse of technology to buy tickets for re-sale should be a criminal offence.

Kylie Jenner Talks About Caitlyn, Having Kids and Her Lips As She Covers Allure August Issue

Featured Image

Kylie Jenner is on the cover of Allure Magazine August 2016 issue. She takes on a natural look that swanks of maturity.

Magcover_Kylie Jenner_006360nobs

The youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner, Kylie Jenner is something of a social-media savant: 63 million followers on Instagram, 16 million on Twitter, and a rabid following on Snapchat. Which is no surprise why the 18 year old is on another magazine cover.

Magcover_Kylie Jenner_005360nobs

Kylie Jenner talks deeply about her father, lip injections and business. Read some excerpts from the interview below;

Speaking on her lip injections

Magcover_Kylie Jenner_001360nobs

“I definitely made my lips a little too big at one point. . . . I got excited and felt like I needed to do a lot. And then you guys were like, ‘Kylie, you need to chill.’ And then I had to go back and have it fixed, and it was a crazy process. Thank God I didn’t end up on Botched.”

Talking About Caitlyn

Perhaps nothing in their tumultuous lives has been more precarious and incendiary than the announcement by Jenner’s father, Caitlyn Jenner, in 2015, that she identified as a woman and had decided to change her name to Caitlyn. But it wasn’t a shock to Kylie. “When we were younger, me and Kendall would run into [our dad] fully dressed in women’s clothes. It was a secret.”

One day, when Bruce (now Caitlyn) felt his daughters were old enough to handle it and fully understand, he sat the whole family down and shared his plans. Kylie remembers how emotional her dad became, concerned that in pursuit of his true self he might hurt, damage, or embarrass his daughters. “I just told Caitlyn, ‘You should do what you want in your life.’ I’m just happy that she can live her life as herself now.”

Speaking on Having Kids

Jenner wants to do “normal things,” like start a family. “I don’t necessarily have to date someone who’s famous,” she says. Does that mean kids one day? “Eventually,” she says. “Of course.”

WAEC Blacklists 4 Schools ‘Guilty Of Exam Malpractice’ In Rivers

Featured Image

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has blacklisted four schools in River state over their alleged involvement in Examination malpractice.

Speaking on the development at the 2016 national stakeholders dialogue and examination malpractice conference in Port Harcourt, the WAEC Zonal Coordinator in Rivers State, Humphrey Ubaka, divulged that a tougher sanction would be served to any school caught engaging in the practice of examination misconduct, henceforth.

He also said, from henceforth, WAEC applicants engaged in Examination Malpractice will be barred from taking examination for two years as punishment and as a deterrent to others.

Refusing to mention the names of the four affected schools, Ubaka said:

“Some are private while others are public Schools. That means the schools have been de-listed and their recognition withdrawn as WAEC Centres”.

He also explained that any candidate caught with any electronic device in the examination hall will have the whole examination papers cancelled.

He said the persistent occurrence of Examination malpractices has brought credibility problem in the certificates acquired in Nigeria in the international community.

“If you are caught with electronic devices like handset or any other device will have the entire result of such candidate cancelled, if you are caught impersonating the result of the affect candidate will cancelled and the impersonator will handed to the Police for prosecution.

That candidate will be barred for two years from taking such examination. If two different hand writings are found in a script, the result will also be cancelled. We will develop as a nation if we continue to go on like this. The persons will lose confidence in themselves they cannot defend such certificates.”Ubaka said

It should be of note that the riverine state has been relishing at the summit of the WAEC chart for incidents of examination malpractice due to prevalence of “miracle centres.”

It is believed that in the special centres, students pay invigilators to be allowed to commit examination malpractice in conducive manner.

NUC Suspends Admission Into Law Programme In NOUN

Featured Image

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has suspended admissions into the law programme of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).

The suspension was declared on Thursday by the Executive Secretary of the NUC, Prof. Julius Okojie.

READ ALSO: JAMB Unveils Portal For Admission Status | Check Yours Here

According to him, the moratorium would be in place pending the resolution of issues with the Council on Legal Education (CLE).

The CLE has constantly refused NOUN’s law graduates from being admitted into the Nigerian Law School.

This is just as the council argued that the teaching and study of law was clinical and cannot be done by correspondence.

Prof. Okojie said: “This matter is being addressed because it is between us, CLE and the university.

“What we have done in the interim is stop new intake into that programme so that they do not have a backlog; we are addressing the issue.

“I must say that the law programme in National Open University (NOUN) was approved by the NUC; it is our responsibility.

“When CLE came up with the idea of no part time law, NOUN did not consider law a part time programme by their mode; so they did not stop the programme.’’

The professor also explained that NOUN’s law programme is not conceived as part time as there is no need studying if one will not attend law school.

He urged CLE to admit NOUN’s law graduates and give the institution its quota in terms of how many students they could admit.

Mr. Okojie confirmed that Nigerian students in the Diaspora were transferring to local universities not just because of forex crisis but also for improving standard of university education.

The Abuja Division of the High Court has on Friday dismissed the bail application filed by a former governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2014 election in Osun State, Iyiola Omisore, describing it as premature and incompetent.

Omisore was apprehended on July 3 and has since then been detained in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged criminal investigation as regards to the N1.3bn slush funds traced to him from the Office of the former National Security Adviser.

At the resumed court session today, the judge, Justice Olukayode Adeniyi, held that the counsel to the applicant failed to show what powers the court had to reverse the order of a court with concurrent jurisdiction.

“I am not aware of any order to make in the instant applications, which have the tendency and implications of upturning the existing order of my learned brother Justice Jude Okeke.

I must therefore agree with the submissions of the respondent’s counsel that in the present situation this court hasn’t made an order for the remand of the applicant for the period of 14 days.

And now turn around to make another order undermining the same order for remand for the release of the applicant on bail.

In other words, the issue of bail cannot arise from this court that validly made an order for his remand during the lifespan of that order.

In my view, the cause open for the applicant in this circumstance is to wait for the expiration of the order of July 8, and there after exercise his rights under Section 296 (3) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act to renew his application for bail,” Adeniyi said.

The judge said that in totality and with no further ado, his decision was that the application was premature in the circumstance and was thereby incompetent and inappropriate.

“Even though I have not considered its substance, the application is hereby dismissed,” Adeniyi said.

Wilmots Relieved Of Duties As Belgium Head Coach

Featured Image

Despite their exploits in the Euro 2016. Marc Wilmots has been sacked as the manager of Belgium.

The 47-year-old manager was in charge of Belgium since 2012. And he helped them reach the quarterfinals of the 2014 world cup. Belgium reached the quarterfinals of the Euro 2016, but that proves one too many.

Wilmots’ contract was set to expire after the 2018 World Cup but the Belgian Football Association believes the team “needs a new impulse” ahead of their qualifying campaign.
A statement from the Belgian FA read: “We would like to thank Marc Wilmots for his work during the last four years.

“With Marc Wilmots as a head coach, the Red Devils have climbed from the 54th position to the top of the Fifa World Ranking. He managed to win 34 games out of 51, including eight draws. Above all, the fans have reinstalled their love for the Belgian Red Devils during this period.

“The RBFA’s Technical Commission have made an evaluation of the recent UEFA Euro 2016 and have declared that the intended goals have not been reached.

“There is a common sense that the team needs a new impulse to lead this group towards a top result at a major tournament.

“The Belgian FA will immediately start the procedure to find a new head coach, in a transparent way. The idea is to start the upcoming games in September with a new coach, beginning with an international friendly game in Brussels against Spain on the 1st of September.”

Nadrain James said in court, Wednesday, (July, 13) that they never kidnapped any worker, rather a fight only began after it was discovered that the staff had invited guests over without the boss’s permission.

James said, “He asked Jonathan why he had all these people in his house. The worker apologized, saying, “Boss, I’m sorry. My bad.”

James explained he and Ross went to the guesthouse. While he stood outside, Ross entered and was startled as a fight broke out with the two workers, Leo Caceres and Jonathan Zamudio.

“It was a fight. Fists going, fists swinging. We both are,” James said.

The workers Caceres and Zamudio both claim they were kidnapped, and forced into the guest house before getting pistol-whipped and beat-up by Ross and James.

While Rick Ross is facing a three-count charge of aggravated assault, kidnapping and aggravated battery, James’s charges include kidnapping and aggravated battery charges.

Although he was indicted in March this year, Rozay is now set to receive a mini-trial to ascertain if he really acted on self-defense as he is claiming.

It is unknown if his immunity request will be granted.

Genevieve Nnaji gets fried by Nigerians after she made a public post regarding the Nice attack.

Her well intended caption #PrayForNice has made her sympathy seem biased to say the least.

Earlier this week, there was an attack in her own country ie the Benue State killings  which claimed about eighty-one lives.

Genevieve Nnaji didn’t say a word about it.

Today, she’s all about quenching the fire in Nice when her own backyard is still burning.

Wolfsburg Certain Draxler Will Not Be Sold

Featured Image

Klaus Allofs has denied claims that Julian Draxler will be sold. And the sporting director of Wolfsburg has denied such rumours.

It was reported that Wolfsburg will sell ten players this summer. And they could be tempted with Arsenal’s €60 million for the midfielder.

However, it seems Wolfsburg want to hold on to the 22-year-old and are not ready to sell him just yet.

But Allofs is adamant that the Germany international will not be one of the players sold.

“The situation with Draxler is 100 per cent certain that he will be staying at Wolfsburg,” he told Sport1.

“There is no discussing that.”

Raptors Resign DeRozan For Five Years

Featured Image

Demar DeRozan has no intention of leaving Toronto Raptors. A place where he now has a home away from home.

The shooting guard agreed a five-year $139 million deal with the raptors. And did not really test the free agent market.

“I am Toronto,” DeRozan said. “Outside of where I’m from, I represent this city harder than anybody. I’ve got so many goals I want to accomplish still; I just can’t wait to put that jersey back on and keep going.”

DeRozan took only one meeting with only one team, and that was the Canadian club that drafted him ninth overall in 2009.

The 6-foot-7 DeRozan averaged a career- and team-best 23.5 points along with 4.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 35.9 minutes in 78 regular-season games last season. He averaged 20.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 37.3 minutes in 20 postseason games to help lead Toronto to its first Eastern Conference final, in which the Raptors lost to eventual NBA champion Cleveland.

Nani: Ronaldo Backed Me Joining Valencia

Featured Image

New Valencia player Nani has revealed that international teammate, Ronaldo supported joining Valencia.

The 29-year-old Portugal international signed a three-year deal with Valencia after sealing a €8.5 move, from Fenerbache.

Nani was also crucial for Portugal at the Euros. The midfielder went on to score three goals and played in all seven matches, as they won the competition.

The winger was presented at in front of 12,000 excited Valencia fans at Mestalla on Thursday and is set to do battle with Real Madrid talisman Ronaldo over the course of the upcoming campaign.

Nani told AS: “Cristiano congratulated me and told me that Valencia was a great club in Spain and that I was going to fit into La Liga.

“Settling in is something that takes time, but I don’t think it will be too complicated because the style of play is similar to Portugal. It is technical and can be very fast.

“I’m really happy that I could contribute at the Euros and in the end we came away champions.

“Many people think I’m going to relax, but that is not in my mind. I come here with a lot of ambitions because I’m coming to a big club, with a great stadium and fantastic fans.”

Nani feels he has improved his game since his time in the spotlight with United, who he left initially in 2014 to join Sporting CP on loan before the sole campaign in Turkey.

He said: “My experience [has changed] but I have the same ambition, the same desire as I have always had. I play to win every game.

“Hopefully I can be a key part of the club and help them to win trophies. I feel that the fans are waiting for me and they are happy I have come here.

“It is a very special day for me and I’m happy to be here. I had the chance to wander around the city and it’s really beautiful.”

Valencia struggled to a 12th-place finish in La Liga last season, with Nuno, Gary Neville and current incumbent Pako Ayestaran all having spells in charge.
