Asari Dokubo’s Wife Is Reported Dead

Alhaja Zainab Asari Dokubo, the first wife of a former Niger Delta militant, Mujahid Dokubo Asari, is dead.

Alhaja Zainab is said to have died in a ghastly motor accident alongside a friend on her way to Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state, Vanguard reports.

Her death was confirmed in a statement issued on Wednesday evening by Alhaji Ishaq Kunle Sanni, the chairman Oyo state Muslim community.

Zainab, it was learnt, was already a Muslim years before she married Dokubo.

According to him, Zainab, who lived in Ibadan had to relocate to Yenagoa, Bayelsa when she was appointed Secretary of the Muslims Pilgrims Board.

The statement read: “Even then, there was hardly any month she was not in Ibadan for one Islamic programme or the other.

“She was a member of many Islamic organisations in Ibadan including Oluyole Muslim community under the Imamship of Imam Mudashir Bada.

“It is interesting she was coming to her preferred town Ibadan when she met her destiny.

“She was survived by four children Amirah, Hassan, Hussain and Osama.

“May Allah accept her multifarious and multidimensional jihad as acts Ibadah and admit her to jannat Firdaous.”

May her soul rest perfectly in peace….

“It’s Gonna Happen”: Michael B. Jordan Confirms ‘Creed 2’

Featured Image

Michael B. Jordan Confirms ‘Creed 2’ – One of the more impressive movies of 2015 was boxing movie Creed, based on the hugely popular Rocky movies.

Creed starred Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed, the son of former heavyweight champion Apollo Creed, who died in the ring. Growing up without knowing his father, Adonis makes his own journey into the ring, seeking the help of his father’s rival, Rocky Balboa, played by Sylvester Stallone.

The movie was well received in the box office and among fans, and it was only a matter of time before talk of a sequel sprung up. Jordan is currently shooting Black Panther, with Creed director Ryan Coogler also directing the Marvel movie. Jordan however stated at the San Diego Comic Con that it was definitely gonna happen.

Jordan is quoted as saying: “I’m not sure yet. Honestly it’s another thing like he’s busy doing [Black Panther], I’m in this world, so I know it’s something that’s gonna happen. I’m not sure exactly when, but it’s something that we are talking about and thinking about because it’s such an important story.”

What do you think? Did you like Creed? Do you think a sequel would be good?

Tevez: Conte Wanted To Bring Me To Chelsea

Featured Image

Boca Juniors forward, Carlos Tevez has revealed that Antonio Conte called him about joining Chelsea.

The Argentine striker was hoping to win a second Copa Libertadores with Boca Juniors. But they lost in the final to Independiente.

Tevez confirmed Conte’s desire to bring him back to Europe. But thinking about retirement made him reject the offer.

“I was driving with all my family in the car,” the 32-year-old told Radio La Red. “It was crazy. He said that he needed a forward and asked if I would like to play for Chelsea.

“He said: ‘Come with us, let’s fight together in this tournament and win the Premier League. We need someone like you to be a leader.’ But I told him that I can’t leave Boca like this.”

He added: “It’s true, I thought about stopping playing. I was in bad shape, beat up, [and] that is why I asked for [a period of] leave.

“Two days after elimination I started training again at Boca and I thought the blow would have passed. But it hadn’t.

“I was annoyed, demotivated, I did not want to be here and I asked [Boca coach] Guillermo [Barros Schelotto] for leave.”

Batshuayi Is Worth It, Says Cahill

Featured Image

Chelsea defender, Gary Cahill is sure Michy Batshuayi can live up to the pressure of his price tag.

The Belgium international signed for Chelsea from Olympique Marseille for £33.2 million. He played for just two seasons in the Ligue 1.

The forward scored a brace in a preseason friendly that ended in a 8-0 win. And Cahill says he has seen enough from Batshuayi.

“Michy is going to be a big signing for us. He is a very exciting young talent,” he told Standard Sport.

“I hope he won’t be fazed by the fee or playing for a big club like Chelsea. There is no reason why he should.

“The manager has a game plan and I am sure he will fit into that nicely. He came back the same time as me last week and is still trying to find his fitness like I am and get more game time.

“But from what I have seen of him, he is impressive and Chelsea fans should be very pleased.

“Michy commanded the price tag because of the quality he has, it’s as simple as that. He shouldn’t have any problem with it, he just has to play the way that he can. He is a young lad who is learning the game.

“His talent makes it very easy for him to just drop into the team. He is also a laid-back guy off the pitch so hopefully that won’t affect him.”

Costa: Chelsea Can’t Be Worse Than Last Season

Featured Image

Diego Costa has stated that Chelsea cannot be worse than they were last season, as they try for the EPL in 2016/17 season.

The Blues endured an abysmal campaign last season. As they finished 10th, with no trophy and out of Europe.

And Costa, despite having been linked with a return to Atletico Madrid, insists Conte’s impact is already being felt within the squad as they attempt to put the previous campaign firmly behind them.

“I think we can’t make it worse than last year,” he said, speaking ahead of the International Champions Cup clash with Liverpool in California.

“Last season was not good and a team like Chelsea cannot be so low down. We know we have enough to be fighting at the top.

“It is very important to have games and training to get to know each other and to reach what the coach wants, so we have to take advantage of this situation.

“We are working very hard. You can see that he wants to do the right things and we have plenty of excitement. I think he [Conte] is going to be good for the team and the players are noticing some changes, and now we have to put into practice what he is asking us.

“We are training hard, and I hope the coach will give us a day off!”

De Laurentiis: Higuain Betrayed Napoli, By Joining Juventus

Aurelio De Laurentiis, Napoli president feels betrayed by Gonazalo Higuain’s decision to join Juventus.

The Argentine’s move to Juventus was made official on Wednesday. Juventus paid €90 million for the centre forward.

Gonzalo Higuain Completes £75.3 Million Move To Juventus

The switch ended Higuain’s three-year stay at Napoli. He scored 36 goals for Napoli, as they finished second behind rivals Juventus.

“People say that to speak of betrayal is exaggerated, but I think the opposite,” he told Corierre dello Sport.

“There is the full sense of betrayal in this choice because it includes ingratitude.

“True, there was the clause so there was nothing formally incorrect … but the unscrupulous nature of football means there is no respect for sentiment.

“We understood … that we might run the risk of having to look for a new centre-forward, but we didn’t think that risk was serious, or that he could simply wipe clean his three years spent with Napoli.”

VIDEO: Jidenna – Little Bit More

Featured Image

Jidenna delivers a “Little Bit More” in the music video for the latest single off his upcoming debut Long Live the Chief.

Donning “Classic Man” steez once again, Jidenna gets dapper for his girl in bright suits for the tropical setting. “She was made for my eyes,” he sings. “We escape the times.”

The fun continues for Jidenna, who shows off his dance moves through the evening. After all, he says, he’s going to need the whole night, plus a “Little Bit More.”

Earlier this year, Jidenna also unleashed the music video for “Knickers” and in December, he rolled out a clip for “Chief Don’t Run.”

Long Live the Chief is due in October on Wondaland/Epic. “You can expect swank. You can expect an album that feels like the adventures of classic man,” Jidenna told Rap-Up TV last year. “You can expect the best album in 2016, handsdown, feet down.”

While countless males singers are skewing towards minimalist Hip-Hop kissed delivery and aesthetics, it’s great to see Jidenna veer the other way.

From his ensembles to the choreography, he’s marching to the beat of his own drum and is all the more compelling because of it. The lead female was a welcome change from the “norm” too.  Look out for Jidenna’s debut album ‘Long Live The Chief’ later this year.

Escape to island paradise with Jidenna in the “Little Bit More” video below.

Peter Okoye Claims P-Square Is Back Again, And The Internet Isn’t Here For It 😔

Featured Image

Peter Okoye claims P-Square is back and the world is disinterested. Have they lost their fans already?

There were two super brothers fighting in our world. One named Peter, the other named Paul. Break away Peter, break away Paul. Come back Peter…Come back…

Paul and Jude haven’t responded yet and our world is still spinning as before.

The drama which ensued between Peter and Paul Okoye popularly known as PSquare will forever be etched on our minds on how brothers can hurt, fight, shame and embarrass each other over something as nugatory as fame, power and wealth.

At the end of the day, that was what all the brouhaha and social media hullabaloo was about.

“Who’ll manage who? Who will lead who? Who will be in charge of management?”, and every other permit-us-to-say ‘vain’ question a simple amiable cool-headed meeting would have settled.

But, if a hothead decides to place fire on its already burning head, well, the entire body will go ablaze. And that’s what happened to these brothers known as the Okoyes.

When the ebbs of a breakup began fuming, we clamored – some fans took to vigil to pray – and begged for PSquare who in their own way opened Nigerian entertainment to the world, to stay together and rectify the hitches within themselves.

But the truth was their fans didn’t need it on Twitter or Facebook or the Gram. If they never shared too much information on social media, the world would only speculate and they would have sorted things way before now. But no, thanks to social media and the minds of the millenials, everything has a share button.

Well, that button just cost them the disinterest of millions of fans.

We loved P-Square. We loved Peter Okoye, we loved Rudeboy Paul and we also loved Jude Engees who did the backend work and shied from the limelight. Three-gether, these brothers redefined the Nigerian music industry. They gave us the best choreographies. They took strides in leading Nigerian stars to invest in quality music videos and for that they would always have our gratitude.

READ: The Inside Story On The P-Square Saga

Watching PSquare perform on stage was a dream come true for millions of their fans the world over. The synergy, the passion, the rhythm of their dance moves, everything in unison, everything done to perfection, one could tell they put in hardwork to sate their ever growing fan base desires. These two stood on top of our world together and we loved it.

But, when it came down to it, all they wanted was a piece of their own pie and they tossed us aside.

Now, they have espoused a reunion… correction, Peter Okoye espoused a reunion, Paul and Jude are yet to reply and they want us to care? Really?

After rejecting our pleas, ignoring our petitions and spurning our entreaties, they waltz back into our lives, like an ex that left with no explanation after one had begged them to stay, only for them to return like a ghost from the future when one’s life finally finds happiness without them.

These few months without P-Square have taught us, their fans, that we can do without them. They’ll be missed, but life must go on regardless.

As fans, we have taken back the right the duo thought they had. The power to toy with our emotions and decide when to deny us the joy of watching P-Square as P-Square and not some broken up Mr P and Rude Boy.

How long did they think they’ll survive as lone warriors? How high did they think they’ll rise as sole stars? The world knew them as P-Square and no other name, shape, form or rebranding can change that.

It would do be in the best interest of these brothers to never break up again because the world is too busy pirouetting to care what happens next between them, unless they have something music-related for us, then, they should swerve.

READ: Paul Okoye, Your Sniveling Does Not Move Us

For now, they broke our hearts by parting ways, but we won’t break theirs by not attending their concerts or shows or voting for them when they are nominated for awards.

Did it make headlines when Peter Okoye shared on the Gram the group was back? No. For someone with one-point six million IG followers and almost the same amount on Twitter, the interest in Peter’s announcement was a zero-point-zero percent and we aren’t exaggerating.

On the Gram, only 64.5K people bothered to click view on the apologetic video he shared and only 3,518 bothered to drop a reply. Out of 1.6 million followers, isn’t that poor? On Twitter, with a presence of 1.1 followers, only 250 retweeted his post and a less-interested 219 bothered with their like button.

Both Paul and Jude are still as silent as mice.

While the latter last shared a tweet on the 17th of this month celebrating his one-year anniversary with his bride, the former opined retweeting radio stations giving him airplay on his new song was more important that confirming his brother’s reunion story.

P-Square broke up and reunited and our world didn’t stop twirling. Whatever they decide to do here on out, breakup, makeup, separate, part ways, reunionize, or whatever terms best elucidates these duo’s next intent, our world will always orbit.

In the end, without their fans, there are just Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye. They would do well to etch that in their minds.

Quoting two fans who said it rightly, jb_essential wrote, “Guy forget that level Na Nigeria una wan form for?…. Hungry go beat una… nobody buys CD plate again…. make una no come back.”

While, dope_legacy7 shared, “Don’t mind dem 😂 they are just fooling themselves. If Una like scatter o, Una like come back o, Na for Una pocket not ours. So bro chill out it’s your beeswax 🙌.”

We love Peter Okoye. We love Paul Okoye. We love Jude Okoye. We love PSquare, but from here on out, they have to earn their fans’ trust back. They have to earn our love back.

No more freebies.

My dear fans, P-Square is back. Ours is a journey that started from our mother’s womb. It was a journey that started from Primary School, continued to St. Murumba College, to when we were in University in Abuja. It was a journey in which we shared childhood memories and grown-up dreams. We are back because brothers do not let each other wander in the dark alone. We are back because we have tried the lonely road and it was not the same. I want to take responsibility for what has happened and sincerely apologise to you our fans. For supporting us throughout this journey we owed you so much more than what you have had to endure and I apologise for that. We are embarking now on a new journey with exciting new management (Jude Okoye), new music and new ideas. We cannot thank you enough for all your prayers and support throughout this difficult period. Maya Angelou once said that brotherhood is a condition that people have to work at. We will continue to work on that and you can be prepared to be blown away by this new phase of P-Square. God bless you all and be assured that you have not seen anything yet! Peter Okoye P-Square

BREAKING: CEO Of Channels TV, John Momoh, Emerges Chairman Of BON

Featured Image

John Momoh (OON), the Chairman of Channels Media Group, has emerged as the newly elected chairman of the Broadcast Organisation of Nigeria (BON) in an election that was keenly contested.

Mr Momoh pulled about 51 votes to defeat his closest rival, Mr Abbas Dalhatu from Freedom Radio, Kano who scored 12 votes at the annual delegate conference on Wednesday in Abuja.

He is the first private media owner to Chair BON.

Here is a detail of the Chairman’s Acceptance Speech as published on Channelstv below:

My Distinguished Colleagues, fellow Nigerian Broadcasters, today is a new dawn in the annals of Broadcasting in Nigeria. A new vista of revolutionary ideals has just opened.

This day, we have made history with the successful conduct of the first-ever election into National Offices of our great Association. When the future generation comes, they will surely applaud our conduct of today. I salute you all.

Just before the ovation dies and the excitement of the elections wear off, let me quickly appreciate you all for the warmth with which you have embraced my humble offer of new ideas and ideals. I am overwhelmed by the wide acceptance of the adventurous manifesto I presented before you.

Suffice to say that almost three decades after its establishment, The Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria is yet to earn its deserved respect among professional bodies in Nigeria.

BON is like the proverbial goose that lays the golden egg but is not accorded its due respect. For those three decades, BON has not attained the level of a big player in matters that directly affect its membership. Other smaller bodies have ridden roughshod over its members.

The leadership I offer, which you have endorsed by your votes today, is determined to address these and influence a new thinking, a new respect and a new vision for us all as professional broadcasters.

In the next two years, I hope, of course with your support, to lead this noble body to hitherto unimaginable heights.

Collectively, we shall begin a rapid development of the broadcast industry in Nigeria while embracing cutting edge technologies to match our counterparts around the globe.

Together, we shall shape the future of our industry and give fresh hopes to the future generations of Nigerian Broadcasters.

Through collaboration, we shall tackle common challenges frontally and victory is assured.

Our immediate focus would be to define a new line of Thoughts using the T.A.I.T Agenda

· Re-enforcing existing structures of our Association to help broadcasters to seize opportunities in the digital age;

· Advocacy that would ensure that policy makers are kept abreast of issues that affect the broadcasting industry; this translates to a better understanding of our stakes by members of the National and State Assemblies, the Executive Councils at all levels as well as Regulatory and Administrative machineries of governments;

· Innovation requires us to be dynamic and we shall introduce innovations that would allow Nigerian broadcasters to construct new services to match evolving and flexible business models

· Training and re-training of personnel would expose them to new ideas, new technologies and engender new thinking and new ideals.

We also intend, in the coming days, to begin a systematic but definite process of restructuring of the secretarial operations of the Association to infuse a new orientation that will result in a new focus and direction.

In that vein, we intend to introduce a Board Structure that will run the Association as a private concern with board committees responsible for:

a. Operations & Regulatory Affairs

b. Government Relations & International Affiliations

c. Legal & Copyright Affairs

d. Advertising & Corporate Relations

e. Training & Overseas Affairs

The immediate tasks ahead of us as a new administration include the recovery of the huge debts owed us by our various patrons; the thorny issue of Digital Switch-Over and the crippling duplicity of levies and taxes.

There is no iota of doubt that not a few members are affected by one or more of these burning issues. We intend to hit the ground running as we use these as the pivot of our activities on take-off in January.

We are optimistic that the current leadership will trigger the processes for us to leverage on.

My esteemed colleagues, it would be inappropriate if I failed to acknowledge my fellow gladiators, the gentlemen who inspired a new zeal in us all by throwing their hats into the ring at the onset.

Even though some gallantly withdrew their candidature along the way, they nonetheless stimulated a new consciousness that has raised the bar in BON.

I want to salute my Mister Tony Akiotu, Group Managing Director of Daar Communications Plc and Doctor Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, Chairman of Desmims Broadcast Nigeria Limited. Gentlemen, we recognise your valour.

To my co-contestants who saw it all through, Osa Sunny Adun, Chairman Degue Broadcasting Nigeria Limited and Alhaji Abbas, Managing Director of Freedom Radio – you made the race more interesting. Your resilience is highly appreciated.

Our dear Colleagues, I want to congratulate you on making history by electing a female deputy, Hajia Sa’a Ibrahim, Managing Director of Abubakar Rimi Television, Kano who will pilot this vehicle with me. Your gender sensitivity would go down into the history books of broadcasting in Nigeria.

Finally, I want to congratulate our able Chairman, Yakubu Ibn Mohammed whose first assignment in Office was the conduct of the highly successful BON National Elections and of course, our very resourceful, proactive and energetic Executive Secretary, Mister Olusegun Olaleye. We owe you a debt of gratitude and hope to reward your hard work someday soon.

To the John Momoh Campaign Think-Thank, I thank you for running a successful train. We have a collective responsibility to make every success of this mandate.

God bless you all.

JOHN MOMOH O.O.N

Abuja. Wednesday, 27 July, 2016.

It should be noted:

BON was Established in 1973, and is today comprised of over 100 members and they collectively own about 250 radio and television stations. BON’s vision is to foster a future-proof environment for radio, TV and new media broadcasters to serve their audiences and contribute to the development of our society.

Judge Considers Slamming Koffi Olomide With One-Year Prison Sentence

Featured Image

Koffi Olomide might receive a one-year prison sentence for assaulting one of his dancers.

A DRC judge is presently considering serving the rumba singer a one-year behind bars time-out after a video of him physically assaulting one of his dancers went viral.

The incident occurred at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, Friday (July, 23rd) as he was scheduled to perform at the Bomas Of Kenya Arena.

Koffi was said to have attacked one of his dancers, named Pamela, in defense of another named Cindy who is rumored to be his mistress after both women had a disagreement.

He was deported along with his dancers on Saturday morning after spending Friday night in prison after Kenyans called for his deportation.

Koffi Olomide

Koffi Olomide was deported from Kenya

This isn’t his first run-in with physical assault as he had received a three-month suspended sentence in 2012 for assaulting his producer in Democratic Republic of Congo.

In 2008, the Selfie singer was also accused of being violent to a cameraman who was a staff of one of the radio stations in DRC.

Koffi reportedly assaulted the man and broke his camera after they both had disagreements over recording rights.

With this in mind, “Should Koffi Olomide be sentenced to prison so he can learn his lesson? Or should he be forgiven and case dismissed?”

Pamela, the assaulted dancer spoke through Facebook, explaining she wasn’t attacked.

She said, “For your information, Koffi does not beat us. For all those who love Koffi, I want to tell you that Koffi is not someone who is aggressive… he loves us very much and it’s just a girl who came and started attacking us.

As far as we are concerned, we don’t have any problem. We came for a concert. We are in good terms with Koffi. He is our president and he never harms us.”

In the court of law, if she refuses to testify against Koffi, he is a free man.

Mariah Carey Looks Great On The Cover Of Complex Magazine

Featured Image

Mariah Carey is the cover girl for the upcoming August/September issue of complex magazine. On the cover it seems like Mariah is at a masked party and she alone didn’t get the memo.

The 46 year old mother of two, flaunted her figure in a variety of corsets and fishnet ensembles.

She also spilled tea on her personal life, including her relationships with ex-husband, Nick Cannon, and her soon-to-be husband, James Packer.

She said a lot of things concerning her wedding, her divorce and her twins. Here are some excerpts from the interview;

Speaking on her Divorce

Mariah Carey opened up about her divorce from Nick Cannon, whom she has 5-year-old twins with.

“I never thought I would have babies with someone and then get divorced. Like, ‘Oh, great job. Repeat your past,’” Carey said, referring to her own parents, Alfred and Patricia, who divorced when she was 3. “But life happens. And it was supposed to happen. It’s fine. For [the kids], I wish it hadn’t happened that way.”

Speaking about Late Prince

Mariah also talked about the late musical icon Prince, and what she learned from him while coming up in the music business.

“Aside from his genius, his artistry, he actually helped me through a lot of [business] situations with his knowledge. He always had a plan,” she recounted. “He didn’t care about the big system and I was always like, in the back of my mind, at any time Prince could write a No. 1 song because he’s that talented but he chooses to do what he wants. I respect that.”

Speaking on her Fiance

Carey says she has reasonable expectations about how involved her future husband will be when it comes to her career, explaining, “I don’t expect him to be at every little thing that I do, and vice versa… he’s got a lot of stuff on his plate and so do I.”

It turns out, Packer is also a fan of his fiancee’s music, which seems like it would have been a deal breaker.

“Actually, I think if he didn’t like my music then how would I be able to handle him being around when all I’m doing is creating new stuff, doing whatever?” she shared.

Roger Federer Forced Out Of Rio 2016 Olympics

Featured Image

Roger Federer Forced Out Of Rio 2016 Olympics – A knee injury has forced tennis legend Roger Federer to pull out of the Rio 2016 Olympics.

Federer had earlier in the year undergone knee surgery, but in a Facebook post to fans, he revealed he had to give his knee time to heal properly if he wanted to extend his career.

“I’m extremely disappointed to announce that I will not be able to represent Switzerland at the Olympic Games in Rio and that I will also miss the remainder of the season,” the Swiss great wrote on his Facebook page.

“Considering all options after consulting with my doctors and my team, I have made the very difficult decision to call an end to my 2016 season as I need more extensive rehabilitation following my knee surgery earlier this year. The doctors advised that if I want to play on the ATP World Tour injury free for another few years, as I intend to do, I must give both my knee and body the proper time to fully recover.

“It is tough to miss the rest of the year. However, the silver lining is that this experience has made me realize how lucky I have been throughout my career with very few injuries. The love I have for tennis, the competition, tournaments and of course you, the fans remains intact. I am as motivated as ever and plan to put all my energy towards coming back strong, healthy and in shape to play attacking tennis in 2017.”

Sadio Mane Reveals He Rejected Manchester United – New Liverpool signing Sadio Mane has revealed Manchester United also wanted him but he turned them down.

Mane, who joined the Reds in a 30 million-pound deal from Southampton this summer, revealed Liverpool’s club history and manager Jurgen Klopp were the reasons he signed with them.

READ: ICYMI: Mane Joins Liverpool From Southampton

Mane told the Liverpool Echo: “Yes, it was true. There was interest from a lot of clubs, not just Manchester United, but as soon as I knew Liverpool were interested I just felt it was the right club with the right coach. It was right for me to come here.

“Liverpool are a massive club with a big history that has won many trophies and as soon as I was told of the possibility to come here and I knew the manager wanted me I said yes.

“It was the right move. I recognise the size of the club and to progress to another level as a player this was the club and the moment for me. It was a step I needed to make.”

Have a Look at What Your Favorite Celebs Are Up to During Their Tours

Featured Image

It’s officially summer ’16 and a couple of celebs are kicking off their world tour while some are wrapping it up.

Let’s have a look at what they’ve been up to.

Adele and her Nigerian Fan

A Nigerian male fan flew all the way from Nigeria to Vancouver to see Adele. She invited him on stage and he was literally shaking in excitement. She leaned in for a side peck and it lands on his lips! The Lucky guy took to twitter to share his excitement.

Here’s the video of the kiss below and a photo of his reaction;

Drake just kicked off his Summer 16 tour and he is starting out petty!

Not once but twice has he thrown direct jabs at some other rapper and a Drake wannabe.

Drake’s beef with Rapper, Joe Budden started back in April, when Budden expressed his disappointment with Drake’s Views on his podcast. During his tour Drake called his name directly to throw shades.

Watch the video below;

“I should have brought Joe Budden up here and let him do ‘Pump It Up’ one time tonight,” Drake jokes. “Pump, pump, pump it up. F-ck them ni–as.”

Earlier this month, Drake mocked Budden’s most recognizable song in his verse on French Montana’s “No Shopping”:

“Pump, pump, pump it up/ She got a good head on her, but I pump it up/ I’m not a one hit wonder, they know all my stuff/ You let me turn into the ni–a that you almost was.”

That’s not all from Drake, everyone should know by now that Tory Lanez and Drake are not on the best terms. Both artistes are from Canada but they don’t see eye to eye.

Tory did a cover for Drake’s Controlla and Drake decided to address the issue during his first night of the Summer 16 tour (20.07.2016). He opened the show with his “Summer Sixteen” track and switched up the second verse a little.

Tory Lanez and Drake have a beef that dates back to 2015 when Lanez said Drake calling Toronto The 6 not cool and kind of corny.

Check out the video below;

Queen Bey is just at her formation tour shining like that star

What we are loving right now is that her hair gets in formation as well! A particular video during her tour has been trending and it’s perfection over oad.

Her ponytail is giving life!

Meanwhile, John Njamah’s elder brother, Aquilla Njamah who is also a movie producer cum director  was once asked in an interview if he could marry popular blogger, Linda Ikeji.

Q: Many of your fans are of the opinion that you will be walking down the aisle with Linda Ikeji any time, is that true?

Aquilla Njamah: Oh… come on, don’t be ridiculous; Linda and I are just friends, I cannot marry her. No disrespect. She is a nice girl one can take home to Mama, she is friendly, smart and warm but what we have is strictly a professional relationship. Just because we were both judges on the Swagger Island Reality Show should not crop up such speculation.

As a matter of fact, I have a fiancée whom I will be getting married to soon, I do not think I should be talking about it now to the media but I would let you know when we fix the date for the wedding.

Peep the rest of John and Angwi’s wedding photos below.
