Thousands Of People Prayed And Reversed The Election Prophesy – T.B Joshua

Featured Image

General Overseer of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet T.B Joshua, has said that people’s prayers against a Hillary Clinton presidency were the reason for Donald Trump winning in the United States of America’s presidential election.

The Prophet before the elections prophesied that  ‘a woman will win the US Presidential election’ and when the results were announced on Monday, November 7 declaring Donald Trump as the winner, the prophet was met with negative reactions.

The renowned Prophet today stated that the outcome of the election was a manifestation of the power of prayers adding that people who are conversant with the accuracy of his prophecies went into fervent prayers and begged God to reverse the prophecy to favor trump.

The cleric compared the election’s outcome with that of Jonah in the bible, who prophesied that God would destroy the city of Nineveh within 40 days, a prophecy, which was averted by sincere prayers of the city’s inhabitants.

Speaking at a special Sunday service at the church’s headquarters in Ikotun, Lagos,  Prophet Joshua told the congregation that he received many emails from some Americans confirming that his prophecy on the election spurred them to intense prayers, which God eventually listened to.

“Thousands of people that heard my prophecy prayed to God, they fasted and prayed that God should change the prophecy. That a prophecy is disclosed and it did not come to pass does not mean that it is not authentic.” He said.

Confirming the power of prayer in prophetic utterances, T.B Joshua said “They know my antecedent that what I say always come to pass. As a result, they went to God in prayer. This is the power of prayer, it is not a crime to tell you. Look at the track record of the person that is talking; the boat will be rocked and there will be challenges. What else do you need? Let’s believe in the power of prayer.”

Three unidentified gunmen have kidnapped a former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bagudu Hirse in Kaduna state.

Bagudu Hirse

Hirse, Daily Trust learnt, was abducted today, right in the front residence of President Muhammadu Buhari’s powerful nephew, Alhaji Mamman Daura, on Inuwa Wada road in Kaduna.

It was gathered that the former minister had gone to pay condolence visit to the family of the late Sultan of Sokoto, Ibrahim Dasuki, on kabiru road, few meters away from Inuwa Wada road.

He then stopped at Daura’s home to pay him a visit when he was abducted by the gunmen.

A source, who witnessed the incident, revealed that Hirse was standing in front of the house, when an ash coloured Toyota Corolla car drove into the street at top speed and stopped in front of Hirse and his friends.

The source added: “three armed masked young men jumped down from the car and accosted the former minister almost immediately.”

“From what I could hear, they were asking him to get into their car but he was trying to seek further explanations from them but at that time, people started approaching the scene so one of them raised the gun he was holding and made to shoot but it did not fire, he tried it the second time and it failed, but the third time, a shot rang and people ran for dear lives.”

More details to be added as the story develops…

Harrysong Leaves Five Star Music, Starting His Own Company ‘Alter Plate’

Featured Image

Harrysong has left Five Star Music Group, a record label owned by Emeka ‘E-Money’ Okonkwo, brother to popular musician, KCee.

The artiste, whose real name is Harrison Tare Okiri, also announced that he was starting his own music company, called Alter Plate.

In an interview with Planet TV, he said that his contract with Five Star Music “expired a long time ago”.

“We are unveiling a new platform, it’s a music platform. It’s not a label, its a music company owned by Harry Song. It’s not supposed to be surprising. My contract expired a long time ago.

“I was signed as an artiste under Five Star music for writing, music directing, vocal coaching,” said Harrysong.

He also complained about a certain lack of appreciation from some unnamed artistes.

“Doing all these for everyone – both Five Star and outside the platform – is not a problem for me. Sometimes it bothers me that we are beating farther than it is. What bothers me is not the work. What bothers me is the appreciation. You are helping someone but the person feels he’s helping you.

“You write a song for someone and the person is telling you that if I don’t sing your song, you won’t blow. It’s childishness. I don’t know,” he added.

Fayose also used the medium to flay at some political leaders, who he referred to as ‘fake’, because “they are only accessible to the people when they are looking for votes only to buy bullet proof cars and erect artificial walls around themselves so that they would not be accessible to the people after the poll.”

” All the permanent structures found everywhere are owned by the Igbo people. Wherever you go in the country, you will find an igbo man there.

“No igbo man can vote for any other party in Ekiti State except the party I belong to because we are bonded with one another “.

Courtois: Mourinho Not To Blame For Chelsea’s Slump

Featured Image

Chelsea goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois believes Jose Mourinho should not shoulder the blame for Chelsea’s poor form last season.

The Portuguese manager helped Chelsea to the EPL and EFL cup in 2014-15, but was sacked in December after winning just four of their opening 16 matches.

Hiddink was interim manager, but could not turn their fortunes around, as the blues could only finish 10th on the log.

Under Antonio Conte, however, Chelsea have re-emerged as title contenders, winning five league games in a row without conceding a goal.

But Courtois maintains the players were as culpable as Mourinho for last season’s slump, even though a change in manager has ultimately galvanised their fortunes.

“He gave me a chance to play at Chelsea, he’s a top manager,” the Belgium international told the Daily Mail. “Sometimes it’s not only the manager [at fault], but he’s the first one that people look at.

“You see it everywhere in football, when results are not there then the first guy who has to go is the manager. It’s not always the managers; sometimes it’s also the players who we have to blame.

“I don’t think we as a team last year were on the same level as the year we were champions.

“It is not only about the manager, but obviously the club has to make a decision at one point and they decided to let him go.

“We decided to play and finish the season as well as we could but we were 10th. That’s obviously very bad for Chelsea.”

Senate Forgery: Fresh Report Indicts Saraki, Ekweremadu

Featured Image

Strong indications are emerging that the Nigerian Police have presented to the National Prosecution Coordination Committee, another report on the investigations into the alleged forgery of the Senate Standing Orders, 2015.

READ ALSO: Alleged Forgery: Buhari, Saraki In Heated War Of Words

In the report, the police indicted the President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki, and his deputy, Dr. Ike Ekweremadu, Sunday Punch reports.

It was learnt that the Special Investigation Panel (SIP), chaired by the retired Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Ali Amodu, stated that Salisu Maikasuwa, a former Clerk to the National Assembly, could not have committed the alleged offence without the connivance of the two principal officers.

It would be recalled, on October 6, this year, the federal government withdrew the charges of criminal conspiracy relating to the alleged forgery of the Senate Standing Orders, 2015, filed against the Senate President and his deputy at an Abuja High Court.

The Nigerian government had withdrawn the case against the two principals following the conclusion of the investigation which proved to be inconclusive and without strong evidence.

Saraki and Ekweremadu were earlier charged alongside Maikasuwa and Efeturi for allegedly forging the Senate Standing Orders, which were used for the inauguration of the Eight Senate.

They all pleaded not guilty to the charges before Justice Yusuf Halilu and were granted bail on June 10, 2016.

Following the amendment of the charges, the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), directed the police to conduct fresh investigations into the case.

However, a top police operative revealed on Saturday, that the SIP had addressed the loopholes the AGF identified in the former report.

He said, “The police have concluded investigations into the case and submitted the report to the NPCC. This was done about a month ago.”

Another top source at the Force Headquarters said:

“Conspiracy is a very wide offence and Maikasuwa couldn’t have done what he did without the connivance of Saraki and Ekweremadu.

“There is no doubt about it; they were the beneficiaries and they have to be joined in the case.”

He continued: “There were certain documents and evidence they asked us to fine-tune, which we did. We got all the necessary documents, including the Hansard, where publications were made and notices were given. We looked at the Hansard. Was there any amendment during the 7th Senate? There were no amendments; nothing was adopted during the 7th Senate. We got the papers and there was nothing like that.

“So, where did Ekweremadu and Maikasuwa derive their authority from when no amendment was done on the floor of the Senate?”

A highly-placed source – with knowledge of the probe – said it was now up to the AGF and the NPCC to decide whether to re-arraign Saraki, Ekweremadu and others or not.

p style=”text-align: justify”>The source disclosed that the detectives were able to verify the extent of amendment to the Senate Standing Orders 2011, the individuals who authorised it, and the official who ordered the printing of the Senate Standing Orders, 2015.

The source added, “The SIP, through painstaking efforts, was able to identify who distributed the printed copies of the Senate Standing Orders, 2015, to senators-elect and it also obtained the complete Hansard of June 9 and 24, 2015, which indicated what transpired on the floor of the Senate as well as other relevant evidence. These were issues the former probe did not resolve.

“It is now up to the government to decide whether Saraki and Ekweremadu should be re-arraigned or only Maikasuwa and Efeturi would carry the can.”

No Plans To Introduce Sharia To Nigeria’s Constitution – Dogara

Featured Image

In the wake of criticism and outrage over an attempt to smuggle-in sharia law into the nation’s Constitution, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara, has stated that it was not true that sharia law had been introduced into the Constitution by the National Assembly.

Speaking on Saturday at a reception organised in his honour by the Northern Nigerian Christian Politicians in Abuja, Dogara dismissed reports alleging that the House has before it a Sharia bill.

Although, he admitted that a legislator had sought to put some clauses of the sharia into the constitution, however, no such recommendation had been made to the special ad hoc committee on constitution review.

His spokesperson, Turaki Hassan, quoted him as saying:

“The proposal came in a way that a member wants some criminal aspect of sharia to be enshrined in the constitution now as a house if even there is a proposal from this floor that we should embrace ecclesiastical law we are bound to consider it and by the virtue of our rules once there is that kind of proposal we send it to the committee.”

“No individual member has the right to craft a bill that will lead to amendment of the constitution. Only the committee has the sole prerogative of drafting bill that will lead to constitutional amendment.

“In the senate, I am not aware that such a bill has been presented by the committee. In the house, that committee has not submitted any bill. That is where we are. It is not only totally misleading but false to say that national assembly is seeking to introduce sharia in the constitution. There is no such bill.

“I want us to get this thing clear because it is a point of contention in the Christian community not only in the north but even  in the south.  I feel I have the duty as the speaker to explain this even though I had explained it on the floor of the house before.”

The Heart And Soul Of Nnamdi Kanu – Fani-Kayode

Featured Image

The Heart And Soul Of Nnamdi Kanu – Fani-Kayode

In my essay titled “Head Bloodied But Not Bowed And The Ascension Of President-Elect Donald J. Trump” (Part 1) I wrote the following:

“When I went to visit the great and brilliant freedom fighter, Nnamdi Kanu, who is the leader of IPOB and easily the most courageous, powerful and credible Igbo leader in Nigeria today in his cell we had a very instructive and long discussion.

This piece was written by Femi Fani-Kayode. The views and opinions expressed here are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of 360Nobs.com.

I had never met Nnamdi before and I was amazed at his depth of knowledge, his immense courage and his deep convictions.

There is no doubt in my mind that that man is going places and in him the Igbo have an Ojukwu and a Nnamdi Azikiwe all rolled into one. He is destined for greatness”.

Apparantly my words have created quite a stir amongst those who believe that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu cannot be mentioned in the same breath as Azikiwe or Ojukwu, both of whom, in my view, are also great men.

Yet despite their reservations I believe that we must give honor to whom it is due. Consequently I have no regrets for what I have said.

Those that are upset at the fact that I spoke highly of the IPOB leader are misguided and, worst still, they lack vision, foresight and insight.

They not only lack the ability to perceive individuals and events accurately but they also lack the gift of discermment. They may see the man but they cannot assess or recognise the spirit that is in him and that motivates him.

Worse of all they are suffering from good old fashioned envy and they have been afflicted with the worst form of ignorance.

Most of them have never even met Kanu let alone know him. I sat next to him for three solid hours in the most challenging and difficult circumstances.

We discussed our respective views about Nigeria, our collective history, the suffering and marginalisation of our respective people, the Nigerian civil war, the reptilian and violent nature of the Nigerian state, the present dispensation, the Buhari government and the way forward.

I have associated with, met and worked with many men of influence and power since I entered the combustible fray of politics thirty years ago but this one was different.

This was a man that had what I would describe as a Mahatma Ghandi-like quality. That is to say he is one that is prepared to sacrifice everything and anything for his beliefs, his people and his cause.

Like the great Scottish freedom fighter William Wallace I have no doubt that if he deemed it necessary he would go as far as to sacrifice his very life in the struggle for freedom and independence for his Igbo people from the Nigerian state and from our internal colonial masters and for the establishment of his beloved Biafra.

Not all may agree with him on that course but they must respect his determination, passion and courage.

Very few Nigerian leaders have that level of selflessness and commitment to any cause and, simply put, I admire it.

I looked deeply into his eyes as we spoke and I touched and weighed his soul.

I can tell you, without any fear of contradiction, that he is a profoundly good man who loves his Igbo people deeply.

He is also well-educated and widely-read and he is a formidable intellectual.

We may not have agreed on everything but I can tell you this much: we share an aversion to the spread of radical Islam and terror in Nigeria and indeed throughout the world.

We also share deep concerns about the oppression of our people by the state, the vicious persecution and desperate attempt to silence all the voices of the opposition in our country, the marginalisation and suppression of the good people and ethnic nationalities of the south and the Middle Belt, the implementation of a plainly racist and apartheid-like agenda by our government, the regular and consistent practice of genocide by our security forces, the rise in power and increasing callousness and brutality of the Fulani miltias and herdsmen in our midst, the not so hidden agenda to Islamise our nation and violate the secularity of our state, the violation of court orders, the brazen intimidation of the Judiciary and the resort to the most barbarous and hideous form of gestapo tactics, tyranny and human rights abuses by the Buhari administration.

I can also tell you that he feels and shares the pain of the Igbo and he yearns for their liberation and emanciption from an increasingly hostile and oppressive Nigerian state.

He is not a politician in the true sense of the word but rather a freedom fighter and a charissmatic leader who has managed to inspire millions of Igbo youth all over the world to once again have faith in themselves and their collective cause and aspirations. In my view that is a good thing.

I can also tell you this: he is a man of great faith and conviction and his rise to prominence is not ordinary but instead prophetic.

He cannot be destroyed or silenced by any government or man born of woman because the Lord is with him and He is using him. He is using him to say and do the things that many believe but that are too scared to say or do.

Other leaders have had their time in the past and now this is his. He is paying a very heavy price right now for what God will use him for in the future.

I recognise that fact and I sincerely hope and pray that his Igbo people will come to appreciate him and do so as well.

Very few leaders can or would be willing to take the pain and make the kind of sacrifice that this man is making today.

I am a very cautious and circumspect person and it takes me a while to warm to people or for them to win my confidence. Yet this case was different.

Nnamdi and I, rather like Che Guevera and Fidel Castro at the beginning of the Cuban revolution, connected immediately and he won my trust, respect and admiration.

If there is anyone that can truly build the much needed bridge between the south-west, the south-south and the south-east it is Nnamdi Kanu.

This is because he is pragmatic and sincere. It is because he is respectful and accomodating of alternative points of view and dissenting opinions and he speaks from a position of knowledge and strength. It ibecause he is very proud of his Igbo heritage and he would never betray his people or prostitute his principles.

The truth is that he is not just a combination of Owelle Nnamdi Azikwe and Dim Emeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu: he is a combination of Azikwe, Ojukwu AND Major Kaduna Nzeogwu all rolled into one.

The fire of revolution and the yearning for fundamental and equitable change burns in his blood and resides in his bones.

He has spoken up for, defended and fought for the preservation and dignity of his people just as those other three leaders did in the past at different times in our history.

He also serves as a rallying point for Igbo nationalism, the fight for self-determination of the people of the east and the establishment of the sovereign state of Biafra.

His love, remarkable courage and sheer passion for his people and their cause is boundless and unfathomable.

The Igbo is blessed to have him as one of the most respected and reverred leaders in our entire history as a nation.

They would do well to appreciate him more, pray for him, stand up for him, line up behind him and insist that the government honors the numerous court orders that have granted him bail and release him from prison.

Why? Because he bleeds and suffers for their collective cause and he is sacrificing all to remove their shame and lift their pain.

What a man he is. What a mighty spirit. What a beautiful soul. What a braveheart.

Permit me to conclude this contribution with the following observations.

All over the world today the concept of political correctness has been discredited and rejected. Consequently right-wing nationalist and ultra-nationalist groups and political parties are rising up and regaining credibility and power.

In the United Kingdom we have the Nick Farage’s of this world and his UKIP whose magnificent efforts resulted in Brexit. In France we have the Marie Le Pen’s and her National Front. In Hungary we have the Viktor Orban’s and his Fidesz party.

In the United States of America we have the Donald Trump’s and his new and redefined Republican party.

We also have plain-speaking and honest men like Michael Flynn, who has just been appointed as Trump’s National Security Advisor.

Political parties with a similar ideology and that are led by equally strong-willed, focused and charissmatic figures are also making great waves and slowly gaining more power and relevance in Italy, Germany, Austria, Holland, Greece, Belgium, Hungary, Russia, the Phillipines, Israel and indeed all over the world.

Thankfully Nigeria has not been left out. We have men like Nnamdi Kanu in the east, Ganiyu Adams in the west, Asari Dokubo in the Niger Delta and others from elsewhere who believe passionately in the restructuring of the Federation, the redefinition of the Nigerian state, the right of self-determination for their respective people and the expression of power, pride, self-respect and dignity for their various ethnic nationalities.

Freedom beckons whilst the wind of change is blowing across the world and no-one can stop it.

I thank God for that and I also thank Him for the millions of men of courage, strength and vision that have joined the fray.

Whatever happens in Nigeria and whatever may come our way, one thing remains clear: an idea whose time has come cannot be successfully resisted. Today may belong to our oppressors but tomorrow belongs to us.

At the appointed time we shall rise up to where we belong as a people and we shall free ourselves from the demonic shackles and satanic chains that have have been placed upon us by our collective tormentors.

And when that time comes we shall stand shoulder to shoulder with men like Nnamdi Kanu and face down our collective enemies.

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob shall rise to our defence and the Lord of Hosts, the Ancient of Days, the God of the Armies of Israel and He who holds the universe together by the power of His word shall lift us up to where we belong.

“I’m Hurting For Everyone” – Simeone

Featured Image

Atletico Madrid lost 3-0 to Real Madrid and Diego Simeone admits the loss hurts, but does not see any reason to panic.

The Madrid derby ended on a sour note for Atleti, as a Ronaldo hat trick condemned them to their third straight loss. Real Madrid are four points clear at the top, with rojiblancos nine points off the summit.

Simeone, however, maintains that they must assess their problems with a cool head after the disappointment of the defeat has somewhat abated.

Asked if Atleti are looking more fragile, he told a press conference: “It depends how you look at it. The defence wasn’t fragile in the first 20 minutes of the second half.

“The first goal was a goal that went in off the wall. You have to look at everything from a calm perspective. Of course we have to look for some solutions.

“The result is what it is. In the first half, they were better, and we were better in the first 20 minutes of the second half. The penalty ended any hope we had of getting into the game.

“All the games are different. Losing bothers me, there’s nothing more to it. It’s not good. There were several collective errors that lead to the defeat.

“They [Madrid] played as they always do, except that this time Cristiano Ronaldo was up top. They didn’t change the system much, but they played and pressed well.

“I’m hurting for everyone.”

Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte has praised Cesar Azpilicueta for adapting to the role of centre-back, following Chelsea’s run of five consecutive clean sheets.

And with Chelsea gearing up to face Middlesbrough later today, Conte has praised his versatility as a defender.

“Azpi is a fantastic player,” Conte told a news conference at Cobham Training Centre. “Because he can play different roles. But I think the role that he’s playing now is perfect for him.

“He’s playing very well, because he’s fast, he has good technique, good positioning. He’s a clever player. He can play in different roles, but this role I think is perfect for him.”

Barcelona Can Lose To Celtic, Says Rodgers

Featured Image

Former Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers believes Celtic can record an historical win against Barcelona when they face in the UCL.

Barcelona thrashed the Scotland club 7-0 in the first leg, but Rodgers is confident home advantage will help them shock the Catalans.

Neil Lennon famously guided Celtic to a 2-1 win against the Spanish giants in 2012, and Rodgers believes fans are right to expect a similar result on Wednesday at Celtic Park.

“It’s how it should be,” Rodgers told the Daily Express.

“Every game is different. When you come into the cauldron, it is a different theatre to play in.

“Barca have experienced it before, they know it’s tough.

“But hopefully what we have created here in a short period of time is that we are a team that’s not going to wait for opponents.”

Rodgers knows exactly the quality that Barca present, but feels that if his side can play to their best, they can be more than a match for Luis Enrique’s team.

“We have to be aggressive,” the 43-year-old admitted.

“We know they are some of the top players ever, but we have to get up to them and see how they cope when you are right at them.

“It is great that we feel that we can win. It’s a mark of where the club’s going.”

The ATP world tour finals title and the number one spot are on the line, when Andy Murray faces Novak Djokovic on Sunday.

This will be the 35th time the duo are going against each other, and the first time the number one ranking is at stake.

Murray overtook the Serb as number one earlier this month, and is currently on a 23-match winning streak. Djokovic is prepared to win back his spot.

“I’m really privileged to be a part of history on Sunday,” said the Serb.

Djokovic has won the last four titles in London and will overtake Murray with another win.

He added: “We’ve known each other for so many years. This is maybe one of the biggest matches we will ever play, so let’s enjoy it.”

Murray said: “Sunday is the last day for a while, we get a break after that. I’ll just give my best of what I’ve got. Hopefully it’s enough.”
