The Memphis Grizzlies will have to do without star PG, Mike Conley for an extended period of time with transverse fractures in the vertebrae of his lower back.
The Grizzlies expect the point guard to miss the next six weeks of action, and will be reevaluated in four weeks. The team said, the injury is expected to resolve itself with rest.
Conley took to Twitter to express his optimism and a hope for early return.

He sustained the injury in the third quarter of Monday’s loss to the Charlotte Hornets.
He is averaging a career-high 19.2 points to go with 5.7 assists per game, leading the injury-riddled Grizzlies to an 11-7 record.
The Grizzlies are now missing Chandler Parsons (knee), Zach Randolph (personal leave), James Ennis (calf) and Brandan Wright (ankle).
