Buhari Appoints Prof. Isa Hayatou Chiroma As DG Nigerian Law School

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the nomination of Professor Isa Hayatou Chiroma as the Director General of the Nigerian Law School.

The appointment was announced on Twitter by the Presidency on Thursday, October 12.

According to a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, Chiroma will succeed Mr. Olanrewaju Onadeko, who is due for retirement.

Chiroma is a Professor of Law, and currently the Deputy Director in charge of the Yola Campus of the Nigerian Law School.

President Buhari also re-appointed Mr Uche Orji as Managing Director of the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA).

Mr Orji was first appointed in October 2012, for an initial term of 5 years. The new term will also last 5 years.
