Timaya Signs New Artiste, King Perryy To DM Records (PHOTOS)

Following weeks of subtle hints on his social media, Afro Dancehall King, Timaya finally announces the signing of Continental Boy, King Perryy to his self-owned label, DM Records.

King Perryy, real name – Anthony Offiah, is an Afro Dancehall recording artiste from Enugu, Nigeria. Born April 28th, 1994 in Port Harcourt, he grew up greatly influenced by music by the great Bob Marley, Sean Paul, Westlife and Alex Zitto.

He started making music professionally in 2014 and has released several songs over the years including the Alex Zitto inspired ‘Walakolombo’.

Timaya’s manager, Osagie Okunkpolor introduced him to King Perryy’s music and immediately Timaya expressed his interest in the young talent.

After a series of meetings between DM Records, King Perryy, his manager Babalola Osogbiye (Bilo) and their lawyers, a record deal was put on the table.

Timaya insisted on waiting for several months, until the young talent completed his degree in Project Management at the Federal University of Technology in Owerri, before making it official.

King Perryy’s sound is a fresh and sultry blend of Afro Dancehall with influences from Popcaan, Gyptian, Shabba Ranks and Timaya.

Area Boys Smash Phones, Harass Journalists As Lekki Residents Protest Toll Hikes

Featured Image

Hundreds of Lagosians residing within the eastern part of the state on Friday morning stormed the Lekki-Ajah Expressway in their droves to protest against the recent toll fare increment by the State Government and Lekki Concession Company, LCC, describing the hike as anti-masses policy.

Amidst heavy security presence, the protest, which was convened under the banner of Eti-Osa Development Forum, started around 9 am with the protesters gathering at the Lekki Penninsula Scheme 1 gate.

Lekki Toll Hike: NURTW Assures Commuters That It Won’t Increase Transport Fares

Armed with placards displaying various inscriptions including, “LCC is a fraud; “Say No to Lekki Toll gate”; LCC declare your statements of account,” the residents and motorists were said to be chanting a popular lyric of a song by Afro Legend Fela Kuti “International Thief Thief,” while protesting against the hike.

Tagged Occupy Lekki Toll Gate, the protesters demanded that the State Government halt the operation of the LCC, operators of the tolls, and show the financial statements of the company since the concession was bought by the state government.

Although the police initially prevented the protesters from marching on the streets, the commander, who led the security operatives, later decided to allow them, after an agreement was reached with the conveners that the procession will be peaceful and not get to the two toll gates.

  • Areas Boys Disrupts Protest

Minutes after the procession took off, it was learnt that hoodlums, better known as ‘Area Boys’ or ‘Agberos’, in an attempt to disrupt the peaceful protest, started to smash phones and cameras of protesters while journalists were harassed.

It was gathered that the hoodlums confronted the protesters in front of Med Plus on Admiralty Way and asked them to turn back towards the Admiralty Circle Toll Plaza.

Unperturbed by the actions of the hoodlums, the protesters raised their voices and demanded immediate action from the police before calm was restored.

In an attempt to forestall further confrontation, the police, it was learnt, swung into action; arresting the thugs. They were dumped inside a Black Maria vehicle and taken away to a nearby station.

  • Police Earlier Warned Against The Protest

The Lagos State police command had earlier warned Lagosians to shelve the planned protest.

A statement it earlier issued read: “It has come to the knowledge of the Lagos State Police Command that some residents of Lekki/Ajah areas of the state are planning to protest the increase in toll fare by the management of Lekki Toll Plaza”.

“While the Command recognizes the right of citizens to carry out peaceful protest, the police will not standby and watch protesters take laws into their hands nor allow miscreants to hijack the protest.

“The Command is using this opportunity to inform and warn the group planning this protest for tomorrow, Friday, the 9th of February, 2018, not to block the Highway, the Expressway or any road for that matter.

“All those who want to participate in the protest must organize themselves in a peaceful manner in line with public protection and assembly law.

“The Command would not hesitate to use reasonable force to prevent any group of persons from blocking the road or breaching the public peace.

“The Command however, wishes to advise all to go about their lawful business peacefully on the Island and indeed every part of the state as adequate security is in place throughout the state”.

  • What Is Responsible For The Protest?

360nobs reported a fortnight ago that the LCC had announced that it will increase the toll tariffs being charged at the Admiralty Circle Toll Plaza on Lekki-Epe Expressway and the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge Toll Plaza with effect from Thursday, February 1.

  • The new rates

At the Admiralty Circle Toll Plaza, motorcycles are now expected to pay N100; saloon cars and tricycles, N200 (eTag: 180); sport utility vehicles, N250 (eTag: 225); light trucks and 2-axle buses, N400 (eTag: 360); heavy duty trucks or buses with two or more heavy axles, N1000 (eTag: 900), and commercial danfo buses will pay N100 (90).

While at the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge Toll Plaza, motorcycles will pay N200 (eTag: 180); salon cars, N300 (eTag: 270); mini vans sports utility vehicles and light trucks, N400 (eTag: 360); and light trucks and 2-axle buses will pay N1000 (eTag: 900).

Kano To Hold Elections In 44 LGAs On Saturday

Featured Image

The Kano State Independent Electoral Commission (KANSIEC) has said that arrangements have been concluded for the conduct of elections in all the 44 local government areas of the state on Saturday, February 10, 2018.

According to the Chairman KANSIEC, Professor Garba Ibrahim Sheka, non-sensitive election materials had been distributed to all the local government areas, while sensitive materials would be distributed today (Friday).

The Chairman also disclosed that necessary arrangements ranging from posting of electoral officers, provision of logistics and election materials and security had been made to ensure a hitch-free exercise.

It is understood that about 25 political parties, including leading the All Progressive Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), are expected to participate in Saturday’s local government elections.

It was also gathered that about 12, 000 security personnel have been deployed to the 44 local government areas to provide security during the elections.

Addressing a press conference yesterday, the Kano State police spokesman, DSP Magaji Musa Majia, said the security personnel included police, military, DSS, NSCDC, immigration, customs, prisons, NDLEA and FRSC.

Majia, however, said no state government-owned security apparatus such as Hisbah, KAROTA or voluntary organisations such as vigilantes, Boys’ Scout and Man ‘O’ War would be allowed to wear uniforms or engage in any activity in uniform on the day of the elections.

2018 UTME: JAMB Announces Sales Of 1.6Million Forms As Deadline Draws Near

Featured Image

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that it has so far sold about 1.6 million registration forms for the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), with barely two days to end the exercise.

The announcement was made by the board’s Head, Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Friday in Lagos.

2018 UTME: JAMB Announces New Dates For Exam

The board commenced the sales of the form on December 6, 2017, and had said it would close on Feb. 6.

However, the board’s Registrar, Prof. Is’haq Oloyede, on February 6, announced extension of the documents’ sales to February 11, to accommodate candidates who failed to register within the two months window.

According to Benjamin, this year’s registration for the examination has proven to be one of the best in recent times.

His words: “As at the close of work on Thursday, I can comfortably say that we have registered close to 1.6 million candidates for the examination.

“This year’s registration too can be adjudged as one of the best in recent times as it has been smooth, hitch and rancour-free.

“Having said this though, the board will like to warn that there may be no more extension of period of registration for candidates in our future examinations.

“This is because some mischievous persons may want to seize the opportunity of the lengthy period of registration to carry out infractions that could undermine the integrity of the examination,’’ he told NAN.

“We are seriously considering reducing the registration period to about one month.

“We no longer want to give fraudsters the opportunity to deploy all kinds of tricks into the process.

“Imagine a situation whereby in a whole month, less than 10 per cent registered until when we started approaching the last lap of the exercise.’’

Osinbajo Backs Creation Of State Police

Featured Image

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has given his full support for the adoption of state police, adding that it was the way to go in meeting security needs of the country.

“State police and other policing methods are clearly the way to go,’’ he declared on Thursday, while making his presentation at a National Security Summit organized by the National Assembly in Abuja

He said every Nigerian was entitled to adequate security by government and that the security failures of the government were not deliberate.

“We cannot realistically police a country the size of Nigeria centrally from Abuja,’’ he argued.

“As a people any killing undermines the security of the state,’’ he stated as he mentioned several killings that had taken place in different parts of the country in recent times.

He said that government had worked on some policy objectives some of which needed legislative approval and cooperation of the judiciary.

He said that the security challenges of the country were complex and nuanced that securing Nigeria’s over 900,000 square Kilometres and 180 million people required far more men and materials than we have at the moment.

“It requires a continual reengineering of our security architecture and strategies; this has to be a dynamic process.’’

According to him, for the country of our size, to meet the one policeman to 400 persons approved by the UN, will require triple of our current police force, far more funding of the police, the military and security agencies.

He said the country must intensify its collaboration with the neighbours to prevent the movement of persons with small arms and disarm pastoralists and other bandits passing through the nation’s borders.

“We must avoid the danger of allowing these conflicts to turn to religious or ethnic conflicts,’’ he said adding that it was the responsibility of political, religious and other leadership elite in Nigeria.’’

War On Corruption: Making A Fetish Of The Malabu Deal

War On Corruption: Making A Fetish Of The Malabu Deal By Majeed Dahiru

CLICK here to read more opinion articles

In a dramatic twist of events in the trial of the former attorney general and minister of justice, Mohammed Bello Adoke, over his role in the Malabu oil deal, the chief prosecuting officer and current attorney general and minister of justice, Abubakar Malami has evidently corroborated the claim of innocence of the chief defendant. At the resumed hearing of a civil suit filed against the federal government by Bello Adoke before a federal high court sitting in Abuja on January 24, documentary evidence that was placed before the presiding Judge Binta Murtala Nyako, gives a clearer picture of the truth behind the facts of the Malabu oil affair. The piece of evidence, which emanated from the current attorney general and minister of justice, not only answered the prayers sort by the plaintiff in this civil suit as the chief defendant, but also called to question the sustainability of the concurrent criminal proceedings instituted against Messers Bello Adoke, Dan Etete and others fingered in a deal that is now being challenged as an act of fraud by the EFCC, which is the chief prosecutor.

This piece was written by Majeed Dahiru. The views and opinions expressed here are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of 360Nobs.com.

This piece of evidence is in the form of a letter written by the attorney general and minister of justice, Abubakar Malami to the acting chairman of the EFCC, dated September 20, 2017; referenced as: DPPA/FMPR/198/17 and titled: “RE: FORWARDING OF CASE FILE IN RESPECT OF CHARGE NO. FHC/ABJ/CR/268 MALABU OIL AND GAS LTD.” In what appears to be a validation of the claim of innocence by Bello Adoke, AGF Malami states in clear terms in this communication that, “having fully examined the entire case file, I am inclined to request you to reconsider the charge in relation to the composition of the parties, the offences, the proof of evidence and the case summary in view of the fact that nothing in the proof of evidence appears to have directly linked the parties to the offences as charged.” AGF Malami states further that, “A curious observation of the entire file clearly indicates that the proof of evidence is unlikely to support the counts which border on fraud, conspiracy and money laundering.”

Fundamental to the civil suit filed against the federal government by Bello Adoke, praying the court to determine, among other things, whether a public officer is liable to face criminal prosecution as a consequence of carrying out a lawfully delegated responsibility by the president of the federal republic, is the aspect contained in paragraph 6 of the letter. This goes: “Furthermore, I am of the view that the Public Officers Protection Act CAP P14, Laws of the federation of Nigeria 2004 limits liability of Public Officers to a period of 3 months following acts which are complained of, unless if the acts were not within the mandate of the functions of the Public Officer, and your investigation needs to have covered that eventually in view of the claim that the acts were authorised by 3 Presidents before the current administration.”

Further investigation also revealed that AGF Malami had also written to President Muhammadu Buhari on issues surrounding the Malabu oil deal. In a correspondence dated September 15, 2017; referenced as: DPPA/FMPR/198/17 and titled: “RE: FORWARDING OF CASE FILE IN RESPECT OF CHARGE NO. FHC/ABJ/CR/268/17 AND FCT/HC/CR/124/2017 MALABU OIL AND GAS LTD, while reiterating the foregoing observations to the president, the AGF went on to state thus, “the idea of revisiting the settlement agreement which resulted in the sale of the oil field to SNUD, SNEPCO and ENI is not workable. It is important in this regard for His Excellency to note the following:

a. The agreement was executed by the highest authority in the Nigeria and must be defended unless it is eventually set aside by the decision of a competent court of law. The agreement has its mechanisms for compensation in the event any of the rights conferred to ENI or SHELL (is) challenged or violated. For the FG to revisit the agreement, the consent of SHELL and ENI will be required.

b. It is very unlikely that the consent will easily be obtained but rather they would rely on the protection afforded in the contract and any unilateral effort by FGN to vary the terms of the Agreement would probably open up a new bout of litigation, defer further investment, give rise to a claim to damages and payment of huge legal fees.”

AGF Malami, also advised the president on the implication of violating any of the terms of the settlement agreements: “FGN confirms that the terms of this FGN resolution agreement have been agreed to by all the appropriate agencies of the FGN, including ministry of finance and the Federal Inland Revenue Service”, hence “all commitments are binding on the FGN. ENI/SHELL legitimately expects that the FGN would respect the commitments. Failure by the FGN to respect them would cast Nigeria in a very bad light internationally and negatively impact the FGN’s quest for foreign investments.”

Distillable from the legal opinion of the attorney general and minister of justice, is that the Malabu oil deal was authorised by three former presidents and was essentially a normal private business transaction between a group of oil mineral development companies, with the federal government only acting in the capacity of a neutral arbiter in a conflict it created originally in the way and manner that OPL 245 was first awarded, revoked and re-awarded. Such transactions are not without precedence. Theophilus Danjuma’s South Atlantic Petroleum Limited (Sapetro), which was coincidentally awarded OPL 246 in the same year (1998), by the Sani Abacha regime, under the similar condition of paying a discounted signature bonus rate of $20 million, like Dan Etete’s Malabu OPL 245, divested 45 percent of its stake to CNOOC of China and walked away with $1.7 billion in pocket. By contrast Malabu’s OPL 245 was sold 100 percent to SHELL/ENI for $1.1 billion, but in this case the federal government got paid the highest signature bonus ever of $210 million, as against Sapetro’s $20 million. Yet, no one is being prosecuted for the Sapetro/CNOOC transaction. In essence, the legal advice of AGF Malami certifies the Malabu deal as being in order under the circumstances that it was brokered. It also acknowledges that all relevant agencies of government were fully involved in the settlement agreement, hence making it ridiculous to single out the former AGF Bello Adoke, who was only carrying a delegated lawful order from the highest authority at the time, for criminal prosecution by the EFCC, acting on a petition that was essentially a shareholder’s dispute, having nothing to do whatsoever with government.

The truth behind the facts that have shrouded the Malabu oil deal in mystery, which have been made fetish of by a vindictive war on corruption has further exposed the lack of due investigative diligence on the part of the EFCC. By making an obsession of the Malabu oil deal, the anti-corruption agencies of government have only succeeded in entertaining the impressed mob of down trodden Nigerians baying for the blood of the rich and successful, which the political managers of Buhari’s war on corruption portray as enemies of the common people. Otherwise, why institute a criminal prosecution against a set of people without any substance of evidence directly or indirectly linking these people to the purported crime, other than for the purposes of political persection? The war on corruption has been more of name calling, media circus trials and pronouncements of guilt, even before people involved are charged to court. The unfortunate characterisation of individuals as corrupt, even before their formal conviction is in itself a form of corruption. This betrays the selectively vindictive nature of the current administration’s war on corruption.

NNPC To Supply 100m Litres Of Petrol Daily In February To Tackle Scarcity

Featured Image

In its attempt to tackle the long queues in filling stations due to shortages of fuel, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), has said that it has programmed to supply 100 million litres of petrol – via two cargoes – every day in February 2018 to boost supply.

The corporation in a statement issued on Thursday from its Group General Manager, Public Affairs, Mr. Ndu Ughamadu, in Abuja explained that two cargoes containing 50 million litres of petrol each would be brought into Nigeria every day in this month.

“The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has programmed to bring in two cargoes of petrol per day for the rest of February 2018 to boost supply.

“Each of the two cargoes is 50 million litres making a total of 100 million litres that will be brought in per day for the rest of February to increase supply and replenish strategic reserves,” the corporation said.

Despite the scarcity in Abuja which has refused to go away as queues continue to build up at service stations across the city’s districts, the NNPC said it discharged 45 million litres of petrol last Wednesday from ships into jetties across the country to enhance supply.

According to it, “Prior to the fresh 45 million litres discharge, there was 324 million litres of petrol on land and 432 million litres in marine storage making a total of 756 million litres, enough to last for 22 days at 35 million daily consumption rate.”

It listed the jetties that received the 45 million litres shipments to include Nacj – Apapa; Bop – Apapa; Techo Jetty – Lagos; Dutchess – Oghara; Vine Jetty – Calabar; Chipet Jetty – Lagos; and ECM Jetty – Calabar.

It added: “To ensure efficient distribution of the product to depots in the hinterland, the Nigerian Pipeline and Storage Company (NPSC), a midstream subsidiary of the NNPC, has been mandated to fix relevant pipeline to facilitate seamless pumping, in addition to massive trucking arrangement that is in place.

“The corporation assures Nigerians that with the measures in place, the fuel queues being experienced in some cities would soon be a thing of the past.”

NHIS Staff Protest, Want Buhari To Rescind Decision On Usman’s Reinstatement

Featured Image

After being reinstated back to office by President Muhammadu Buhari, the Executive Secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), Prof. Usman Yusuf, resumed work on Thursday only to be greeted with a massive staff demonstrations against his return.

The staff under the auspices of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN) led by the branch Chairman, Mr. Razak Omomeji, according to Premium Times, called out his members to express their rejection of President Buhari’s decision to return Yusuf to his seat.

The workers were of the opinion that the reinstatement of Yusuf would impede his investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The protest began shortly after Yusuf resumed at the headquarters of the agency in Abuja.

“He has resumed work but has not held any management meeting,” Ayo Osinlu, Head, Media and Public Relations of NHIS said.

Yusuf was suspended from office by the Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, following an indictment by an administrative panel which found him culpable of mismanaging NHIS funds, totaling N919 million and gross insubordination.

On Tuesday, Buhari reinstated Yusuf exactly six months after he was suspended by Adewole following allegations of gross misconduct.

On Wednesday, the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, explained that Yusuf’s recall would not stop any corruption investigation by anti-graft agencies.

Though the presidency has not spoken on the reinstatement, a source at the Presidential Villa said the suspended executive secretary was reinstated because the president believed the allegations against him are yet to be proven.

#BBNaija Day 11: Housemates Get Strong Words From Biggie As They Lose Their Wager

Featured Image

It was a real challenging day for the #bbnaija housemates as they got tongue lashed by big brother after losing their eager.

Despite the fact that the #bbnaija housemates managed to put up an amazing performance that they had put together on Sexual Consent, and their outstanding score at the memory game, it was obvious that Biggie was not impressed.

Of all the #bbnaija housemates, Ifu Ennada and Miracle undeniably put up a stunning act, which was supported by other fellow housmates who drummed and sang along to their performance.

Earlier in the day, big brother had warned the #bbnaija housemates against the constant buzz in the House, the foot-dragging and breaking of rules. He even went on further to scorn Anti, who appeared ill-at-ease for discussing the content of her Diary Room session.

Biggie also expressed concern about Housemates not bringing their A-game onscreen, and he used the opportunity to use harsh words, in the hope that it will prompt them into getting their act together.

However, it appeared as if the #bbnaija Housemates did not get the message and Biggie decided to pounce them harder. After admonishing the group, Biggie informed them they had lost their Wager which will increase the price of groceries articles.

Khloe and Angel appeared most hit as the former rolled her eyes in anger while the latter burried his head in his hands. It seemed biggie had hit the #bbnaija housemates with a huge blow as this is the second time in two weeks they miss the target.

The Head of House Tobi took the biggest and hardest blow which perhaps was rightly deserved for the failure of the other #bbnaija Housemates are his failure as it spoke directly to his leadership skills.

Tobi stayed behind the group and when he finally left the arena he walked straight to his bedroom.

#BBNaija Day 11: Housemates Get The Meanest Task Yet

Featured Image

Day 11 in the #bbnaija house saw big brother give the housemates the meanest task yet that shocked them all when it was announced.

Big brother gathered all the #bbnaija housemates in the living and gave them the formidable Task of naming one thing they didn’t like about each other.

Surprised, the #bbnaija housemates at first didnt get a good grasp of what they were engaged in and after rumbling for a while, they conceded and commenced the task.

At the beginning, the Head of House Tobi found it difficult to maintain order as the #bbnaija Housemates were only half-listening, chuckling and whispering until he raised his voice and demanded that everybody be quiet.

Tobi proceeded to ask partners to seat separately before the game began. He kicked off the game by and then the game by unleashing the bitterness he had within, which was shocking to tje other housemates.

He kicked things off against Nina whom he called ‘generally annoying’, Khloe whom he described as ‘an ass and a troublemaker’ and said he didn’t trust Anto ‘who kissed two boys in one night’.

One after the other, the #bbnaija Housemates rose to the challenge and kept the torrent of unpleasant, sarcastic and mean attacks flowing.

Leo went all in ,as he called K.Brule a ‘party-pooper’, mocking Alex for her ‘short attention span’ while Dee-One warned Tobi that his ‘days were numbered’.

It honestly would have taken a strong person to walk out unscathed after the barrage of attacks and it was quite difficult for the ladies, as some could be seen biting their nails, others silently wiping tears, and most keeping their eyes shut at the first interruption as if to isolate themselves.

Khloe and Alex however didnt take things lying low as they made good use of their sharp tongues. ‘I thought I was annoying until I met you’ said Khloe to her partner K.Brule, and she fired at Bitto that he made her cry and had yet to pay for it.

While it appeared that the intention of big brother regarding the group talk was to erase any bad blood that may exist between the #bbnaija housemates, having to stomach such acidic words was shocking to say the least.

It appears the activity has altered the dynamics in the #bbnaija house as cracks between Miracle and Nina, despite being the first couple and having the first kiss, is becoming evident.

#BBNaija Day 11: Much Ado About K.Brule And His Feelings

Featured Image

Since being in the #bbnaija house, K.Brule has made no secret about the fact that he is an emotional guy, even making his feelings known In his profile video.

The second week in the #bbnaija house has been a very sensitive one for the housemate, as he got a lot of his fans worried.

K.Brule started his descent into emotional trauma on Sunday when Biggie gave him a well-deserved Strike for his superman stunt. It was evident that he was Troubled as he had sleepless nights.

Things got worse for our lovey dovey housemate when Khloe kicked him out of their room. He sufferced more bruise to his ego when Anto confronted him fiercely over the fact that he wouldn’t kiss her during a game.

After confessing to Anto how much he likes her, she immediately shut him down and made it clear that she would never develop feelings for anyone in the #bbnaija House. This appeared to make him feel like all hope was lost when Khloe kicked him out again after the huge House fight about food, making him feel like he couldn’t even catch a break in the house.

Afterwards, he could be seen sleeping while others were gisting and listening to music and staring into space while attending House meetings with downcast eyes. He however got a ray of hope today as the #bbnaija housemates practiced for the pantomime on “sexual consent.”

K.Brule looked over to Khloe and silently signalled to her, asking if she was ok, she graciously said yes and he returned her gesture with a positive smile. This simple gesture seemed to boost his confidence.

With the passion K.Brulé has for music and his love for women, it appears that his lack of vibrant energy was as a result of the fact that he is easy to catch feelings.

A lot of the other #bbnaija Housemate’s have made a point out of the fact that they did not come into the House to get attached to anyone, K.Brule on his part seems to be interested in getting some kind of romance.

It is a joy to see him experience some sort of redemption or happiness after all his suffering in days past. It is however left to be seen how his action will evolve in the days to come.

#BBNaija Day 11: The Beefs and The Conspiracies Get Thicker

Featured Image

As always, the days in the Big Brother House are always eventful and filled with dramas brought to us by the #bbnaija housemates. The housemates didnt disappoint as they brouvht a lot of drama from day 10 till day 11.

Day 11 kicked off and followed up with body talks to sorry-less apologies to make a messy and somewhat interesting day. This was even made more explosive With the involvement of Cee-C in the brewing brawls.

The #bbnaija housemates were however able to sweep their differences under the carpet. The duo of Ahneeka and Rico Swavey were unusually vocal about their strategy, with the former coming out on top As she revealed her strategy is to remain neutral.

Ahneeka also made it known that it would be more beneficial to nominate those that they saw as a threat to their sty in the #bbnaija house. She also mentioned how she was not interested in fruitless feuds that eventually follow them outside the House.

Late night conversations between Angel, Princess and Dee-One revealed that Teddy A, Khloe and Cee-C are actually Fake Housemates. They centered their arguements on the fact that Teddy A is “way too smart” and Khloe is causing too many fights in the #bbnaija House. They also said that they think Bitto is a threat because he is “crazy”.

Regarding the tasks, the #bbnaija housemates showed very little interest in their choreography Task at first. After being introduced to the routine, they went on with their day and showed almost no concern but some of them shook it up while the rest sang along to the Nigerian melodies.

It also seemed like the housemates are taking the ‘Sexual Consent’ Task seriously as they later gathered in the lounge and went technical about the pantomime and radio drama with Ifu Ennada, Angel and Teddy A taking the lead.

Miracle and Princess appeared to be getting close as they discussed intimately. She told him that she and Rico Swavey weren’t an item because Rico Swavey didn’t have the body type she desired in a man.

As a matter of fact, she made it clear that none of the guys in the #bbnaija House were her type. She went on further to ask Miracle if he took their smooch personal, to which he responded no. It appeared to be a game to the duo.

With the drama ,brawls and conspiracies increasing by the day, it is left to be seen how all the drama will affect the Task presentation as the Housemates really need to win their Wager.
