Sampdoria director Daniele Prade has confirmed that left-back Ivan Strinic, who will be out on contract in June, is on AC Milan’s radar.
“I can confirm that Milan asked for authorisation to speak to the player,” Prade is quoted by RMC Sport.
“He is an exemplary professional, he signed a contract for these 10 months and we knew what the conditions were.”
It is perhaps no coincidence that Ivan Strinic has been dropped to the bench since these reports emerged.
“We are not precluding anything, he will be a professional with us until June 30. We’ll talk to the player and see what he decides.”
The 30-year-old Croatia international joined Sampdoria from Napoli in August 2017 for €2m.
