Ferdinand: Tottenham Will Struggle To Keep Kane

Featured Image

Former Tottenham striker, Les Ferdinand believes Tottenham will find it hard to keep Harry Kane, if a big club comes calling.

The England international has been in impeccable form this season, and currently tops the goalscorers chart.

Kane has maintained his goalscoring form for the past four seasons, attracting interest from top European clubs.

Speaking ahead of the London Football Awards (LFA), Ferdinand told Omnisport: “When you have a talent like that, teams will come calling, and will Tottenham be able to resist those teams?

“They move into a new stadium next year. I’m sure they’d like to keep him and let Harry kick off that stadium, but it’s about who comes calling, and what they come calling with, that’s what will determine if Harry stays at Tottenham or not.”

Azpilicueta: Chelsea Must Be Perfect At Camp Nou

Featured Image

Chelsea defender, Cesar Azpilicueta has called on his teammates to be perfect at Camp Nou, if they are to get the result to qualify.

Willian put Chelsea ahead in the 62nd minute, and could have won the game if not for a defense slip up, that led to an equaliser via Messi.

Azpilicueta sees the away goal as a disadvantage, but believes Chelsea can qualify at Camp Nou.

“The away goal obviously gives them a small advantage because with a 0-0 they go through, but it is what it is,” Azpilicueta told Chelsea’s website.

“There is still a lot to play for and it will be an interesting game, we know it’s going to be tough but our performance showed what we are capable of doing and we will try our best to qualify.

“We have to play a perfect game, we know we are playing against very good players in a tough stadium but we are confident and we will try to qualify.”

EFL Clubs Vote To Close Summer Transfer Window On August 9th

Featured Image

EFL clubs have officially voted through proposals that will see their transfer window close following the opening game of the league season.

Consultation with clubs has been ongoing since last year and as a result of today’s vote, the window will now close for permanent transfers from another club on Thursday, August 9, at 5pm, which is aligned with the decision the Premier League opted to take in September 2017.

Of the 72 teams from the Championship, League One and League Two, 40 voted in favour of the change while 29 went against. There were no abstentions and the remaining three clubs instead sent their apologies.

EFL clubs have officially voted through proposals that will see the EFL transfer window close following the opening game of the League season,” a statement said.

“Consultation with clubs has been ongoing since last year and as a result of a vote, the window will now close for permanent transfers from another club on Thursday 9th August 2018 at 5pm, which is aligned with the decision the Premier League opted to take in September 2017.”

EFL clubs will still be able to sign players on loan up until Aug. 31 and transfer players to other leagues whose windows remain open.

“I’m pleased that the matter has been determined by clubs ahead of the start of next season,” EFL Chief Executive Shaun Harvey said.

“This new approach will give clubs and managers the stability they crave earlier in the season whilst also providing the flexibility to add to their squads after the traditional deadline until the end of the month if required.” (Reporting by Martyn Herman; Editing by Toby Davis)

What do the changes mean for loan deals and selling players? EFL Clubs will still be able to…

Sign players on loan up to the August 31, 2018
Sign players on loan up to August 31, 2018 with an option to agree a permanent transfer when the next window opens
Register players who ceased to be registered with a club during the period up until the August 31, 2018

Featured Image

Sergi Roberto has signed a new deal at Barcelona, keeping him at the club until 2022.

After committing his future to Barcelona, Sergi Roberto has revealed there was interest from elsewhere in his services.

The 26-year-old was a reported target for Manchester United and Manchester City, but said: “Since renewal talks began I always wanted to be here. It’s the club of my life and I’ve been a fan since I was small.

“It’s true that other clubs were interested, but I wanted to be here and I’m happy to have renewed until 2022. If I can continue even longer, then so much the better.

“I hope it’s not the last contract I sign. My desire is to retire here and hopefully I can follow in the footsteps of Andres Iniesta and Leo Messi.”

Roberto, whose buy-out clause now stands at 500million euros (£440m), has made 34 appearances for Barca this season and helped put them in contention to win the Champions League, La Liga and Copa del Rey.

Fela Durotoye Confirms He Will Run For President In The 2019 Elections

Featured Image

Popular leadership coach and motivational speaker, Fela Durotoye has declared his intention to run for president in the 2019 general elections on the platform of the Alliance for a New Nigeria (ANN).

In a statement released to press on Thursday, Mr Durotoye said the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), cannot save Nigeria from her problem with the spirit of ‘godfatherism’ that follows both parties. According to him, the country has all the resources it needs to be a desirable place for anyone to inhabit, provided it gets the right leadership.

The full statement reads

“As you may already know, over the last 13 years, I have committed my life and resources to doing all I can to build a New Nigeria that would be the most desirable Nation to live in by December 31, 2025.

From nation building projects like Mushin Makeover (which was recorded as the largest non-governmental urban renewal project in Africa’s history), to raising the standard of education in our schools and higher institutions through projects & initiatives, to helping our young people across our nation Deliver The Future to corporate transformation projects and most importantly championing the largest non-governmental Values Infusion project through the 10 lifestyle personal creed that we share together on this network that has now been endorsed and actively promoted by a multitude of Nigerians across all gender, tribe, social class or religious affirmation..

As I have stated severally on this platform and in public, I have come to the conclusion that good governance is critical for any nation to accomplish its full potential. In fact, without good governance every other good work carried out by its citizens would ultimately be like pouring water into a basket and is therefore not sustainable.

This is why it became important for us to set up the  RUNNING FOR A NEW NIGERIA platform, where we galvanize a critical mass of people who would participate in the governance process either by VOTING or BEING VOTED FOR at the 2019 General Elections and beyond.

In line with our Values one of which is to “BE A ROLE MODEL WORTHY OF EMULATION”, I had to decide to get involved in the political arena rather than staying on the sidelines and only challenging others to go in.

It is my hope that as I step unto the political scene, many more of our brightest and best will arise to heed our nation’s clarion call to contest for elective offices, win the elections, and most importantly collectively deliver good governance to our nation.

Therefore, to be clear, I am aspiring to contest as a Presidential Candidate in the 2019 General Elections. A lot of people have asked me ‘FD, what party will you be running on? Is it APC or PDP?’

Whilst it is true that these parties may have formidable grassroots structures, I strongly doubt that these old parties with their old ideology (of God-Fatherism also known as Selectocracy, Rulership, Money Politricks etc) would be able to deliver to us a New Nigeria.

And so, over the last few months, I have researched into several political parties to determine if their ideologies, vision and values resonate with those we share together on this Network.

I am glad to announce that one party has resonated more with me than others in Ideology, principles & a truly democratic internal political process that is open to all to aspire & provides a level playing field for the best candidates to emerge at all levels for Legislative & Executive offices.

I believe it is safe to say that I have found my political home, which I truly believe would be a HOME FOR ALL NATION BUILDERS.

Today, 2pm, 22nd of February 2018, I would be formalizing my membership with the ALLIANCE FOR A NEW NIGERIA (ANN) and formally joining the party.

ANN is a party founded by Professionals & technocrats with great political insight and wisdom required to build a formidable nationwide grassroot movement within the next 12 months and beyond. The National Chairman is Dr. Jay Osi Samuels, a Medical Doctor and a Renowned Public Health Practitioner respected globally.

As I move further on this noble cause, I’d like you to pray with me for divine wisdom, grace, favor, courage, strength & discernment.

Secondly, it is my desire that you will, like I have done, decide to step in the political arena and go beyond just registering to vote but also becoming a member of a Political Party where you would have voting rights, ability to choose your own candidates amongst those aspiring for office and where your potential aspirations cannot be stifled by any god father.

I strongly believe that your involvement in the political arena either as a member or aspirant within a political party would strongly enhance our ability to deliver good governance for the New Nigeria.

As you thoroughly consider the various political parties, I’ll like to recommend for your favorable consideration the Alliance for a New Nigeria. I want you to join ANN not just because I asked you to, but only if the Party Ideology resonates with yours as it does with mine.

Lastly, as we together run for a New Nigeria, I would like us to create a buzz for this major milestone and spread the news by sharing the images from my page to all your social media handles, using the hashtag #RunningForANewNigeria & #DeliverTheFuture.

It’s 12 months the Presidential Election and we only have enough time to ACT QUICKLY, so let’s make each day count.

It’s time to choose our future over our past. IT IS OUR TIME… And together, we will deliver the future.

God Bless You. And May God Bless our Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

Barclays Confirms Teleology Holdings As Preferred Bidder Of 9Mobile

Featured Image

Barclay’s Africa — the financial services company in charge of the sale of 9mobile — has sent an official letter to the management of Teleology Holdings Limited, confirming it has the preferred bidder in the sale of the struggling telco.

In the letter, it is understood that Teleology Holdings was directed to make a non-refundable cash deposit of $50 million within 21 days from the date of the letter, dated February 21, 2018, or lose the bid to the reserve bidder, Smile Holdings Limited.

A source disclosed that the letter served as the official document for the conclusion of the sale of 9mobile, formerly known as Etisalat Nigeria, Nigerian Guardian reports.

Prior to yesterday, Teleology had been reported as the preferred bidder, but such reports were based on speculations, as Teleology had not earlier received any official document from both Barclays and 9mobile.

The official letter, signed by Barclays and sent to Teleology yesterday, finally confirmed the firm as the preferred bidder.

The sale was also confirmed by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of 9mobile, Boye Olusanya.

According to Olusanya, Teleology Holdings emerged the best bidder in the sale process, while Smile Telecoms Holdings is considered as reserved bidder if Teleology reneges on its bid for the multimillion-dollar company.

In a communication with members of staff, Olusanya said its lenders, presumably Barclays Africa, will now engage Teleology to finalise negotiations on the sale of the company.

“In line with my previous communications on the bid process, discussions and negotiations have put the board in a position to name Teleology Holdings as the preferred bidder for our company,” Olusanya said via a memo seen by TheCable.

“The lenders will now engage Teleology Holdings to conclude other aspects of the negotiation and I will continue to provide updates as and when the milestone occur.”

2018 UTME: JAMB Explains How Blind Candidates Will Write Exam

Featured Image

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has explained that the examination mode for blind candidates for the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will likely be conducted by dictation, as done in the previous year.

2018 UTME: JAMB Announces Date For Mock Examination

The hint was given by Dr Fabian Benjamin, Head, Media and Information, JAMB, during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Lagos.

Benjamin was speaking against the backdrop of calls by some blind candidates in Lagos, seeking to know if they would be using the Braille Note Apex for the fast approaching all Computer-Based Test (CBT), scheduled for between March 9 and March 17.

JAMB Announces Date For 2018 UTME

According to him, all blind candidates will be writing the 2018 UTME through the dictation mode, as was the case in 2017.

He said: “Yes, the candidates would be taking this year’s examination through the dictation mode.

“This dictation would be carried out by the ‘Equal Opportunity Group’, under the supervision of Prof. Peter Okebukola, a former Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission.

“The board is mindful of needs of the Nigerian child and, therefore, will stop at nothing in ensuring that everyone is carried along and given equal opportunity to succeed.’’

Meanwhile, Benjamin has urged all candidates writing the UTME Mock examination slated for Feb. 26, to start printing their examination details, as notices had already been sent to their respective e-mail addresses.

2018 UTME: JAMB Bans Pens, Wristwatches, ‘Suspicious’ Eye Glasses In Mock Centres

Featured Image

The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has announced the ban of the use of 16 items in the centres of the forthcoming mock examinations scheduled for Monday, February 26, 2018.

The prohibited items were listed in a memo issued to members of the Civil Society Group on Thursday, February 22, by the Secretary of JAMB UTME Monitoring Groups, Ngozi Egbuna.

The memo reads: “Kindly note that examination officials are allowed to scrutinise eye glasses or similar devices and where convinced that such item may compromise the sanctity of the examination, the examination official should confiscate it.

“Where examination official (board staff or ad hoc staff) or any authorised person is found with any of these prohibited items in the examination hall, such compromising action would be treated as a deliberate act of examination sabotage and necessary sanction will be applied.”

The CSG is one of the groups inaugurated by JAMB Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, to assist in monitoring the UTME.

The prohibited items are wrist watches, pen/biro, mobile phones or similar electronic devices, spy reading glasses which should be scrutinised, calculators or similar electronic devices, USB, CD, hard disks and/or similar storage devices.

Others are books or any reading/writing material, cameras, recorders, microphones, ear pieces, ink/pen readers, smart lenses, smart rings/jewellery, smart buttons and Bluetooth devices.

CBN Issues New Directive To Nigerian Banks On “Customers’ Complaints”

Featured Image

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has directed banks and other financial institutions to settle customers’ complaints on issues of overcharge, unauthorised deductions and other matters within two weeks.

The CBN Head of Complaints Management Division, Mr. Tajudeen Ahmed, said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Thursday in Abuja.

He said the CBN would ensure that bank customers get a redress on issues of excess charges or unauthorised withdrawals.

Ahmed reiterated the apex bank’s commitment to eradicating excess and arbitrary charges.

According to him, the CBN has since issued a circular which could be found on its website, showing all legitimate bank charges.

He said that any charge outside what is stated in the circular is not allowed.

“The consumer protection department issued guidelines to banks dated August 16, 2011, directing all banks and other financial institutions to resolve all customer complaints within two weeks of receipt.

“Before the expiration of that complaint, the financial institution is expected to be engaging the customer on a continuous basis to update him or her on the status of the complaint.

“If it is not resolved within the deadline given, then such a person is encouraged to draw the attention of Central Bank of Nigeria to the complaint,” he said.

Ahmed advised customers with unresolved complaints to contact the CBN by writing to the Director Consumer Protection Department or send an email to cbd@cbn.gov.ng.

He also advised dissatisfied bank customers to visit any branch of the CBN closest to them to make their complaints.

“The CBN continually engages the banks to find out if their conduct and practices are fair to their customers in order to stimulate people’s confidence in the banking system.

“Non-adherence to that normally results to regulatory sanctions, as the case may be,” he said.

Ahmed also faulted banks for setting a limit on ATM withdrawals.

“I have also observed and noted this. Don’t forget that at the beginning, it wasn’t like this. Over time, we started having this problem.

“One of the reasons is that the quantum of N500 denomination is much more than that of N1,000 denomination.

“When we approached the banks about these problems, they said the machines become easily faulty when it is set to dispense up to N30,000 to N40,000 units.

“However, CBN has directed that the machines that allow payment of up to N30,000 to N50,000 should be installed.

“This is still ongoing. The Banking and Payment Department of the CBN is championing it,” he said.

Also, the Head of Consumer Protection Division, Mrs. Hadija Kasim, said bank customers could also avoid some of these issues by inculcating the habit of cashless policy.

She reminded the public that there were various methods to make payments rather than carrying cash.

“Let’s not forget that ATM cards can also be used on Point of Sale (POS) terminals.

“We are encouraging people that unless it is absolutely necessary, they should reduce the carriage of cash.

“Cashless transactions are more convenient, safer and you will avoid the problem of overcharges,” she said.

Kasim also advised bank consumers to use bank transfer channels for transactions in cases where sellers do not have POS.

Scott McTominay Eager To Repay Faith Shown In Him By Jose Mourinho

Featured Image

Scott McTominay has revealed that he is keen to repay the faith shown in him by Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.

On Wednesday night, McTominay was given a role in the starting lineup as United recorded a goalless draw in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie with Sevilla, and the young Englishman was praised by Mourinho after the game.

However, McTominay has said that it was a team effort in Spain, claiming that he and his teammates had put in “a real shift” to go into the reverse fixture on level terms.

Scott McTominay told Sky Sports News: “Obviously it’s so important for me to repay the manager whenever he puts trust in me in these games, and I thought the whole team tonight put in a real shift for the manager and I think going back to Old Trafford we’re in a good position.

“I wouldn’t say the best position because we didn’t win, but we’re in a good position because we can go back and fight for every ball and hopefully we can progress to the quarter-finals.

“It’s all to play for. At 0-0, anything can happen. We’re confident against any team we play. Hopefully we go back to Old Trafford and we can go through there.”

Jonny Evans Reinstated As Captain Of West Brom

Featured Image

West Brom manager Alan Pardew has said that he is looking to “move on” from an incident which took place in Barcelona earlier this month.

During a training camp, Jonny Evans, Gareth Barry, Jake Livermore and Boaz Myhill broke curfew and stole a taxi during the early hours of the morning, before it was later returned to the owner.

The quartet apologised for their role in the incident but Jonny Evans was stripped of the captaincy for the club’s FA Cup fifth round tie with Southampton last weekend, a game which the Baggies lost 2-1.

However, ahead of the encounter with Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon, Pardew has revealed that Evans would be given the armband after all four players were disciplined by the club.

At a press conference, the 56-year-old told reporters: “The disciplinary side of things is finished with, as far as I am concerned.

“The four have all been disciplined by the disciplinary board here. There’s a little board which gets together and decides that. We move on, hopefully, as best we can.”

West Brom are bottom of the Premier League and seven points from the safety of 17th place, a position currently occupied by Saturday’s opponents Huddersfield.

Pardew has won only three of his 17 games in charge in all competitions since taking over in November from Tony Pulis, who also won just three matches this season before his departure.

“This club was on a difficult run before I arrived and it hasn’t improved since I’ve been here and that’s at my door and I need to put that right,” said Pardew.

“But certainly this week we are much more focused and the desire levels have come together. We have three options – perform a great escape, fight and get relegated or go down with a whimper and I certainly hope it’s not the last one. We are determined it won’t be the last one.”

I Prefer To Play In A Wide Position Than False 9- Eden Hazard

Featured Image

Eden Hazard has revealed that he prefers to play in a wide position, rather than being used in the centre of a three-man attack.

Due to fitness issues regarding Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud, head coach Antonio Conte has opted to deploy Hazard alongside Willian and Pedro in the final third, and the trio impressed as the Blues earned a 1-1 draw with Barcelona on Tuesday night.

However, while accepting the decision of Conte, Hazard has said that he performs better when being given more opportunities to run with the ball on the flanks.

The 27-year-old told reporters: “To be honest, I like the role as a false nine. But in games like that against quality opposition like Barcelona, it’s difficult. You don’t get a lot of balls. I might have touched 25 balls that night and 15 of them were flying towards my head.

“That is not really playing to my qualities. I won some aerial duels against Gerard Pique, and that’s not bad.

“But if I had to choose, I prefer to play like I did in the last 10 minutes, which was out wide. But it’s the manager who has the final word. On the wing I feel more comfortable. That’s my place.”

Fulanisation Of Nigeria And Perfidy Of The British [Part 2] – Fani-Kayode

Perhaps the most insightful and concise contribution that I have read about the history of the Fulani and their inordinate ambition and insatiable thirst for domination and conquest was provided by Mr. Gbonkas Ebiri.

His research and analysis of this topic is as historically accurate as it is outstanding. Permit me to share his words.

This piece was written by Femi Fani-Kayode. The views and opinions expressed here are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of 360Nobs.com.

“Kingdoms that accommodated Fulani herdsmen in the past were eventually overthrown by the Fulani. In all situations, these herdsmen took up arms and fought for a Fulani leader to overthrow the kingdoms that accommodated them and their cattle. Examples in history:

Fulanisation Of Nigeria And Perfidy Of The British [Part 1] – Fani-Kayode

The first Fulani Jihad was at Futa Jallon. Fulani pastoralists migrated here in large numbers from North Africa in the 1600’s (they migrated in smaller factions earlier).

Futa Jallon was a mountainous rich agricultural land. Shortly after the Pastoralist migrations, Fulani clerics migrated as well. they were called Ulamas.

In 1726, the Fulani community elected one of their own by the name Ibrahim Musa as their leader and gave him the title of Al – Imam (Leader of the Muslim community). Shortly after his election he proclaimed a jihad against the local rulers of the region and enlisted the herdsmen as soldiers in his Jihad.

His successor after his death and new Al- Iman, Ibrahim Sori completed the Jihad in 1776. The new Fulani aristocracy drove out many of the natives. Those they did not drive out, they enslaved.

Slave trade thrived in the region after the Jihad, this was when the slave castle at Goree Island (Point of no return) was built. They captured mostly the people of the Mandika tribe (this was the tribe of Kunta Kinte).

Another region not far from Futa Jallon was Futa Toro. It was rich in Agriculture and the stretch of the Senegal river passed through it. By the banks of this river was fertile farmlands.

This region was of great important to the Fulani pastoralists who migrated to the region around the same time they migrated to Futa Jallon. They could have the cattle feed and drink by the banks of the river. Shortly after the herdsmen arrived, clerics migrated as well.

They formed the majority of the Torobde clerics. A Fulani cleric called Sulayman Bal was nominated by the clerics as the spiritual leader. in the year 1776, Sulayman Bal launched a Jihad against the Denyanke dynasty and enlisted herdsmen into his army of the faithful.

They were overthrown and replaced with a new aristocracy of Fulani leaders. He died while trying to expand the empire to the regions of Trarzas. His successor, Abd al- Qadir completed the expansion and expanded the empire Southeast.

In our own Nigeria, the Fulani migrated as herdsmen and lived in communities. As at the time Dan Fodio arrived, they had Fulani leaders in almost all the Hausa City states with a large concentration in Katsina and Kano.

These leaders included Moyijo at Kebbi, Mohammadu Namoda at Zamfara, Salihu and Mohamadu Dabo of Kano. Very much like the previous Jihads, Dan Fodio was recognized as the leading cleric and given the title of ‘Sarkin Musulmi.’ (Leader of the Faithful).

He formed a community after his confrontation with the authorities at Gobir and called on the faithfuls to join him, from the community he lauched his Jihad.

Majority of his soldiers were herdsmen and another faction natives that fell for his charismatic leadership. Dan Fodio would eventually give flags of leadership to the Fulani leaders of the various Hausa cities.

By far, the Dan Fodio’s Jihad was the most successful and all Fulani Jihads in West Africa. He would also replace the Hausa kings with Fulani aristocrats, and like the previous Fulbe leaders, the new empire was hostile to the natives.

Their lands were taken from them and they were relegated to second class citizens in their ancestral homeland. Many of them were forced into slavery under an oppressive feudal system and others sold to Arab slave traders.

At Ilorin, the shortsighted rebel Afonja made it so easy for the Fulani to get rid of him. Unlike the other kingdoms where they migrated on their free will and chose their spiritual leader, Afonja personally wooed the Fulani to his kingdom and appointed Alimi as the cleric of the province.

Both vital foundations for a fulani takeover was given on a platter of gold by warlord. very much as in all cases, the Fulani got rid of him and ensured the throne of Ilorin for their kinsman.

So far they have not been able to invade beyond Ilorin. The warriors at Ibadan fought them back as well as Benin warriors. To conquer the south, it is important to have Fulani herdsmen and clerics stationed in the land.

It is important to indoctrinate natives who profess same religion with them to trade ther ancestry for a religious theocracy of a divine cleric.

Among the Yoruba people, they will succeed as they did in the old Ilorin emirates when many natives of old Oyo empire enlisted in the army of Alimi’s descendants to invade villages under Oyo and capture their fellow kinsmen as slaves to be sold to the Portuguese.

All observations of history prove beyond doubt that giving colonies and settlements to Fulani people under the guise of land for grazing is very dangerous.

The Fulani is obsessed to conquer the South and take it from the ancestral owners like they did to the Hausas. The South owns the Ports and oil. It owns the best companies and rainforests. That is what they secretly want and not grazing land for cows.

With scattered Fulani settlements in the south, they will bring their clerics and launch a new phase of Jihads from our base…. Cattle colonies is a plan to conquer the South.

Herdsmen are foot soldiers of the Fulani empire and the demand for lands in the South is a first step in future to take over the ancestral lands of the Southern people”. (CONCLUDED).

I commend Mr. Ebiri for his courageous submission and I wholeheartedly concur with his conclusions and findings. He has said it all and there is very little left to say.

It is left for the Nigerian people to either resist the attempt to Fulanise their entire nation by learning from the lessons of history, increasing their depth of knowledge, creating awareness about the formidable challenges with which they are faced and rise to the occassion or they can sit back, act as if there is no danger or threat and be indoctrinated, stripped of all they have and all they are, conquered, dehumanised, enslaved and overwhelmed. The choice is ours.

And if anyone still doubts the assertion that we are in mortal danger I would urge them to read the words of Professor Ango Abdullahi, the spokesman of the Northern Elders Forum and a leading member of the Fulani cabal, in a recent interview with the Sunday Vanguard Newspaper where he told us “why herdsmen must kill”, where he sought to defend, justify and rationalise the bestial and barbaric acts of mass murder, genocide and ethnic cleansing that the Fulani herdsmen and terrorists have unleashed on the people of the south and the Middle Belt and where he claimed that the British had “granted” what he described as “grazing routes” in the Middle Belt and the south to the Fulani terrorists and herdsmen as far back as 1914!

Never in the history of our country, other than during the civil war, has mass murder, genocide, ethnic cleansing, the slaughter of infants and babies, rape, destruction and the burning and pillaging and violent occupation of other peooles lands and homes been justified and defended in this way.

Professor Abdullahi has proved to the world that we are a nation of bloodthirsty barbarians and sociopaths where human life has no meaning and has no value.

His views reveal nothing but madness in its most brazen form and the truth is that this reckless and irresponsible elderly man is playing with fire and is courting nothing but disaster for his Fulani people. Simply put he is begging for war.

I am disgusted and appauled by his cold-blooded, blood-thirsty and blood-lusting mindset but I cannot say that I am surprised. That is their way and these are their thoughts!

In addition to Abdullahi’s absurd and provocative submissions the skeptics shoud also read Professor Umar Muhammed Labdo’s insulting assertions about Fulani supremacy and the Fulani being “born and destined to rule” over the whole of Nigeria.

If, after reading the contributions of these two supposedly “learned” Fulani men, some still do not understand what is going on or that we have a major challenge in this country, then such persons are indeed part of the problem and are in dire need of help.

Permit me to end the concluding part of this essay with the following.

To those who say that my words are too blunt, plain and harsh and that suggest that I should be more circumspect and temperate when discussing the powers that be in our country, the state of our nation, the Fulani invasion and our ruling Caliph, I say the following: I am the Servant of Truth and the Voice of the Voiceless.

If I do not speak up and say what others know but dare not say who will speak for the downtrodden, the enslaved, the weak, the oppressed, the slaughtered and the silent majority?

It is a calling and I cannot but do as I do and say as I say. I cannot but speak bluntly and plainly, calling a spade a spade.

In any case bullies, tyrants, conquering foreign hordes and alien invaders neither understand subtlety and restraint nor do they appreciate its nuances.

Worse still they misconstrue gentle words and a kind and generous disposition for weakness and this fuels and feeds their appetite for bestial acts and tyranny and encourages their naked aggression.

Unlike most I fear not the heathan hordes that seek to conquer and enslave our people nor the bloody sword or the mighty roar of the uncircumcised Philistines.

I fear not the armies of Rome nor the occultic Egyptians with their satanic covenants, ancient spells and powerful invocations.

And neither will I bow, quiver or tremble before the Chaldeans or the Amalekites that rule our land with their unelenting display of violence, barbarity and cruelty.

I am led by the Holy Spirit of the Living God and I trust in Him for all. He is my strength, my shield, my glory and the lifter of my head.

I am in the Lord’s power and hands and not in that of my adversaries or the enemies of my people. Most importantly I am persuaded that He will never leave me or forsake me.

I am also guided by the wise counsel of our very own Nobel Laureate and celebrated bard, Professor Wole Soyinka, who wrote the following historic and powerful words in his famous book titled, ‘The Man Died’ many years ago.

He wrote, “the man died in him who remained silent in the face of tyranny”.

Today I proclaim, may the man never die in any of us.

Again I am inspired by the compelling, beautiful and eternal words written by the great 19th century author and English sage, Thomas Babington Macauly, in his famous poem titled ‘Lays Of Ancient Rome’. He wrote,

“Then out spake brave Horatius, the Captain of the Gate: to every man upon this earth death cometh soon or late.

And how can man die better than facing fearful odds, for the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his gods.

And for the tender mother who dandled him to rest, And for the wife who nurses his baby at her breast.

And for the holy maidens who feed the eternal flame, to save them from false Sextus that wrought the deed of shame?

Haul down the bridge, Sir Consul, with all the speed ye may; I, with two more to help me, will hold the foe in play”.

Today I pray that we be like brave Horatius and hold the foe in play.

Finally, I am strengthened and encouraged by the words of King David in Psalm 27 when he said,”The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear”.

#BBNaija 2018 Day 24: The Dense And Drab Diary Sessions

Featured Image

The first Diary session since the shocking Evictions saw the #bbnaija Housemates who had lived through another reshuffling enter one after the other to share their secret thoughts with Biggie.

It is onvious that the #bbnaija house is still recovering from the dramatic events of the past days. Former #bbnaija Housemates are sorely missed, but the remaining agree that the show must go on.

For someone like Angel, a smaller House is a happier House for it has cleared the path to victory. Moreover, Angel still harbours feelings for Ahneeka whom he hopes to see fall into his arms soon.

Not all the #bbnaija housemates are however at peace with the new developments. Nina is of the opinion that regardless of the Head of House pairing, she is the one who should be sleeping next to Miracle in the luxury suite, simply because he is sleeping alone as Anto has refused to share the bed with him.

Anto on her part has been struggling with the baby Task. When Biggie asked her where her baby was, she blushed of awkwardness and replied that ‘it was on the sofa’. She had come to the Diary Room without it. This was in sharp contrast to Ahneeka who jumped into the chair with her baby in the arms, gushing about how much support she was receiving from her partner Angel in the Task.

Ifu Ennada was the only #bbnaija housemate that expressed genuine happiness at the new pairing, who has come close to winning the head of house crown thrice.

Ifu told Biggie that she ”thanked God” and was “glad to be free from Angel” who she accused of being so rude to her. She admitted that people found she made a good match with Angel, being both sporty and bold. But that she had to stomach a lot from him when no one was watching.

Tottenham Beginning To Hit Top Form At The Right Time- Cristian Eriksen

Featured Image

Tottenham midfielder Cristian Eriksen has claimed that his team-mates are hitting peak form at just the right time after recovering from a mid-season blip.

Tottenham have recently taken seven points from a possible nine in Premier League games against Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal, while also holding Juventus to a well-earned 2-2 draw in the Champions League.

Taking into account the underwhelming 2-2 draw with Rochdale in the FA Cup last time out, Spurs are now unbeaten in 14 matches since going down 4-1 to Manchester City before Christmas.

That follows a run of five wins from 11 in October and November, and Eriksen hopes that Spurs are now firmly on track to bringing some silverware to North London.

“I don’t know what it is about this time of year but it’s probably all about how we train – we work hard, especially in pre-season and we really pick up this time of year,” he told the club’s official website. “All I know is the team feels very confident and we’re going in the right direction.

“We started the season well, had a dip and now we’ve really built up again over the last few months. There is still everything to play for in the Champions League and getting seven points from the games against United, Liverpool and Arsenal was a great achievement and gives us a lot of confidence going forward.”
