#LTF2018: Still Single In Gidi Is Ripped From Relationship Twitter

Featured Image

One of the hottest tickets at the Lagos Theatre Festival this year was the returning, Still Single in Gidi, the follow up to the word of mouth hit, Single in Gidi which was first staged in 2015 at the Terra Kulture.

Both Single in Gidi, and its follow up, were adapted from the blog of the same title created by Sheila Ojei. One which usually featured irreverent posts about living single and working in the city of Lagos.

Still Single in Gidi, presented by S&S Creative Media and directed by Shirley-Urhobo Enebong, played at the Agip Hall of the Muson Centre on the second and third of March. The production does not differ markedly from its source material as it centers itself around lampooning a young, attractive cast of characters, navigating the treacherous waters of the contemporary dating scene.

Some of the original cast members (Timi Charles Fadipe, Austin Onuoha) make a return and Still Single in Gidi finds a way to link the plot, such as it were, with its predecessor. However this revival is obviously more concerned with tackling more of-the-moment issues, concerns that are ripped straight from social media trending topics.

The young man at the center of the action this time, is Richie (Ojukokoro’s Charles Etubiebi), a hardworking, everyday fella who has just proposed to his girlfriend. Richie, like many Nigerian men assumes that because he is the one who goes down on his knee and produces a ring, he is really in control of the situation. It turns out he has been expertly played and manipulated by his fiancée, a rich, daddy’s girl type who upon deciding that Richie could make a decent husband, sets about making it a reality.

Director and co-writer, Enebong opts out of making use of a linear narrative technique to unspool the drama that she has pre-packaged, and makes use of monologues and offhand stream of consciousness ruminations. Everyone it seems has an agenda and the over the top bickering and clawing that the characters engage in are all in service of fulfilling society’s laid down expectations.

The pressure to settle down once young adults approach a certain age leads to so much strife and Still Single in Gidi traces everyone’s complicity. From the boys who are socialized to go about collecting jars of hearts in the name of sowing wild oats, to the ladies who are conditioned to start hearing their biological clocks ticking as they get older, there is plenty of blame to go around.

Don’t forget the Lagos mothers who manipulate their sons emotionally and raise their daughters to place their worth in terms of their ability to find a man to marry, and the cycle of commercial enterprises that have sprung up around the simple, seemingly uncomplicated occasion of two people deciding to spend the rest of their lives together.

The cast is mostly solid but it is tough work, attempting to stand out in a production that favors trendy jokes and snappy comebacks over meticulous character development. Rita Edwards, as the mother to Fadipe’s rascally ‘’Yoruba demon’’, Tunji, however, just about steals the show with her lived in, relatable, yet over the top knock off of every Nigerian mother stereotype.

The writing in Still Single in Gidi is laugh out loud humorous and the actors deliver their lines with relish. The production is a bit too obvious as it plays at times like an aggregation of every hashtag, trending topic and cliché owned by millennials. But there is a certain charm to the kinetic energy diffusing in various, scattershot angles. Still Single in Gidi may not wow audiences looking for the next Nigerian classic but perhaps that is the whole point to it. It is thoroughly of its time and should do just fine as a commercial, feel good entry. As long as there are regular updates and revivals to keep up with the changing times.

#LTF2018: Panty Liners Considers Sex, Love And Marriage

Featured Image

From Kelvin Mary Ndukwe, the adventurous mind who conceived the twisty Sisi Pelebe, an audience favorite from last year’s festival, comes the adult themed follow up, Panty Liners, a funny, witty, meditation on female friendships, betrayal and sex in the big city.

Playing around with the site specific culture championed by the British Council in previous seasons of the Lagos Theatre Festival, Panty Liners, one of the six curated shows for this year’s festival, is nestled within the Grill Station at the Freedom Park where the audience can interact freely and feel like part of the action.

The barman, Akpan (Sammie Akpan) welcomes guests as they quietly make their way into the intimate ambience of the Grill Station. To make the setting more authentic, he enjoins that guests make themselves comfortable and order something from the menu. Not on the house of course.

Before long, three young ladies make their way in and make themselves comfortable at a table at the centre. The action is going to revolve around this center. One of the ladies is the delightful Kiki Omeili, an actress of stage and screen, with a background in Medicine. Omeili plays Adaugo, a self-made entrepreneur with feminist credentials who quit her highflying job after an untoward encounter with an abusive boss. It is Adaugo’s birthday and the three ladies have gathered for an evening of merriment.

Adaugo isn’t the most successful of the trio though. That would be Tinuke, (a believable Rhoda Albert) the free-wheeling, sexually adventurous business woman with a knack for making million Naira deals. Completing the threesome is Titi (Bunmi Sogade), the married woman whose prudish resistance is merely a cover for a storm raging internally.

When two or three adult ladies are gathered in Ndukwe’s world, the gist must turn to matters of the flesh and Panty Liners scores a major touch down in its first half, with frank depictions of sexual desire among young Nigerian women. The women unburden themselves freely, knowing that amongst themselves, judgement may come, but it is all in good natured fun.

Titi has sexual hang ups and hasn’t been intimate with her hubby for as long as they have been wedded. Adaugo has no time for love and chooses to interface with her lovers, on her own terms while the lovable Tinuke just wants to find a woman to go down on her the way that no man has been able to manage in all her years of circling the block. From time to time, they get too loud and Adaugo has to graciously apologize to the audience on their behalf. She needn’t have bothered. The audience was lapping up all the gossip unashamedly.

If there is anything conservative Nigerian society needs, it is a healthy shot of frank, honest conversations about taboo topics such as sex. And these ladies go all the way, with talk about girl on girl action, use of sexual stimulants and discarding partners as soon as they begin to bore. They even throw in twerking moves to make things really interesting.

It would all be so empowering if Ndukwe didn’t feel the need to do his bit of social commentary.

It isn’t lasciviousness just for the sake of it when weighty topics such as sexual abuse and violence against women are introduced into the fray and sexual deviations are traced back to childhood abuse. Ndukwe makes sure to stay on the right side of the law, lest members of the moral police accuse him of promoting licentious behavior. Even liberal South Africa got a taste of this righteous control when the Oscar shortlisted, gay themed film, Inxeba (The Wound) was classified as porn by the country’s Film and Publication board.

Eating your cake and keeping it comes with its own set of problems. By the final act, Panty Liners begins to drag as the revelations pour forth and threaten to overshadow the lighthearted fun of the first half. The production does well to shine a light on social issues but at what cost? The entire architecture does not quite recover from this attempt at infantilizing the audience.

The play’s title refers to the absorbent material usually worn by ladies in the gusset of heir panties to amongst other things, absorb genital discharges. It isn’t quite fair that Panty Liners in the end, resorts to clichés and safe landings.

This audience was doing just fine taking it all in.

#LTF2018: 3Some Is Sexuality Filtered Through The Male Gaze

Featured Image

When a play announces itself with a title as audacious as 3Some, it demands instant attention.

When promotional posters of the play feature the words, ‘a provocative play’ scrawled across a woman’s very naked torso, skeptics who roll their eyes at the obviousness of the packaging should be allowed their hesitation. Not everyone is a fan of gimmicky theatre.

But writer/director Jude Idada has a responsibility to put bums on seats. And with a reputation already earned on Facebook, from posts that often tease the line between edgy and outrageous, it behooves him to give the people what they want. He has his audience and their thirst needs to be slaked.

Come to 3Some for the promise of provocation. And by all means, sit through a character typing out her deepest need to be dominated on the internet, adults yelling dirty words like ‘’bitch’’ and ‘’whore’’ and a lengthy masturbation exercise featuring an extra clad in nothing but gold paint. But stay for the writing which occasionally aspires to something sublime, and the unflinching psychosexual explorations into the human condition.

Like the title suggests, 3Some presented by Creoternity Theatre and staged at the Amphitheatre, Freedom Park, on the fringe of the Lagos Theatre Festival, is written as a character study of three principals, a close knit family made up of a man, his wife and her mother. Dayo Doherty (Etim Effiong) is a workaholic, uptight, church going young man who has ignored his young, beautiful and sexually adventurous wife for far too long.

The Dohertys have been married for about three years but Dayo hasn’t been forthcoming when it comes to pleasuring his wife. Frustrated, Chioma (an agreeable Uzor Osimkpa) finds for herself, a sophisticated lover who is willing to indulge her taste for the wild side. She is introduced in one of their chatting sessions where she is going on excitedly about the dirty things she wants done to her.

Dayo stumbles on the exhibit from one of these sessions and all hell breaks loose. In keeping with his cowardly nature, Dayo chooses to shy away from dealing with the root causology of Chioma’s actions, fearing his own indictment. He summons his unconventional mother-in-law, Asmau (Frances Bickersteth, the weakest of the three actors) to set her daughter on the straight and narrow but unwittingly opens up a Pandora’s box of sexual frustrations, repressed feelings and unrequited love.

While Chioma moves out of her home to pursue her wild thoughts to a logical conclusion, Asmau moves in to prevent another woman from latching on, to reap where she hasn’t sown. With her experience as a medical practitioner, she attempts to help Dayo work through his knotty hang ups only to end up awakening a sleeping beast.

With the names of his lead characters coming from the three major ethnic groups, Idada suggests that beyond the titillation, he may have one or two things to say about the present state of sexual relations amongst Nigerians. Idada’s grasp on sexuality is tight and when he finds a way to filter his thoughts properly- human sexuality through a socio-religious lens- before putting them out, 3Some rises to admirable heights but this is constantly undercut by lengthy scenes that are heavy on surplus dialogue and stay on past their welcome.

Idada gives his female characters free rein to explore their sexuality without necessarily punishing them for it and while this might be considered progressive, Chioma, despite Osimkpa’s best intentions, cannot rise beyond the limitations of Idada’s male gaze. She is the male writer’s imagination of the Madonna/whore dichotomy come to stage and brings little insight to the discussion at stake. The mother, Asmau with all of her contradictions, is a more interesting character and in the hands of a more capable actress could be more effective in posing more of a challenge for Dayo.

Dayo is of course, the character whom Idada understands the most (no surprise!) and who goes through the most striking transition and Effiong is able to convey this credibly. He starts out as a mousy, uptight bore but by the end of the production, he has discovered himself completely in more ways than one. 3Some is really his show as it details his sexual awakening and contrasts it with his emotional suppression.

3Some is a welcome addition to the field of gender studies. It has its progressive elements but the male gaze is still front and center.

Carrick To Retire At The End Of The Season

Featured Image

Manchester United captain, Michael Carrick has confirmed he will hang his boots at the end of the current season.

The 36-year-old midfielder has played sparingly for United this season, after a heart scare earlier this season.

Carrick returned to action last month, but has confirmed at the press conference ahead of Tuesday’s UCL clash with Sevilla, that he will be retiring at the end of the season.

“There comes a time when, as much as you don’t like, your body tells you it’s time to stop playing football,” he said.

“That’s pretty much where I’m at, which is fine.”

In January, United boss Jose Mourinho said he expected Carrick to retire at the end of 2017-18 and join the Old Trafford coaching staff – a move the player himself acknowledges as his likely next step.

“It’s kind of being sorted out, we’re still talking about it to be honest. But it’s looking likely, yeah.”

“It started in the Burton game and then happened again in training,” Carrick added, discussing his health problem.

“I’m clear now, it took a bit of time to get over. There were two or three times when I wondered whether it was worth still playing, but I soon got over that.

“I understood that I wouldn’t be playing as many games, but I’ve been training hard and trying to keep fit. I wanted to finish on my own terms.”

Manchester United are the only club to have made an approach for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski. The Pole was thought to be a Real Madrid target, but the Spanish giants are dithering over a move. (Kicker)

Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal, who’s been subject of Chelsea transfer talk, admits he is unsure whether he’ll be at his current side come the end of the summer. He is thought to be discussing a new contract, and said: “Whether I stay and extend depends on the people here at the club. We’re currently on the right track though.” (Sport Bild)

If Real Madrid want to sign Neymar this summer, it will cost them €400m (£355m). That will mean they’ll have to sell a number of players, with Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Isco and Mateo Kovacic likely to leave the Bernabeu to raise funds. (Sport)

Real Madrid have drawn up a shortlist to replace Benzema in the summer. There are four names on their wishlist: Harry Kane, Mohamed Salah, Mauro Icardi and Lewandowski. (Mundo Deportivo)

Ahead of returning to Barcelona for the first time since his departure in 2014, Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas admitted his surprise at leaving the Catalan giants to Marca, saying: “I haven’t played a single game there since that day [May 17, 2014]. I didn’t realise it would be my last appearance for the club, but the truth is that it was a very sad day all round.”

He believes his current side can cause an upset on Wednesday night at the Nou Camp too, adding: “We can’t start at the Nou Camp with a negative mindset, it must be the opposite, we have to enjoy this big match.” (Marca)

With Antoine Griezmann constantly subject of Barcelona transfer talk, his Atletico Madrid captain Gabi says he’s only interested in the Frenchman giving his all while he’s still playing his football in the Spanish capital.

“All I’ve asked of him is that while he is with us, he gives everything, as he is doing,” said the midfielder. “Antoine is a special boy to everyone related to this club, he’s loved in the dressing room.” (Marca)

Atletico Madrid will offer Griezmann a new contract to fight off that interest in him from Barcelona. (Cadena Cope)

Juventus face competition from Bayern Munich and Real Madrid for Liverpool midfielder Emre Can. The Italian giants’ inability to finalise a deal for the German, despite being able to speak to him due to his contract at Anfield being up at the end of the season, has led the two European heavyweights starting to sniffing around. But the Bianconeri are still favourites to sign the 24-year-old. (Tuttosport)

Napoli have agreed personal terms with Sampdoria’s Lucas Torreira. They must now decide whether to pay the midfielder’s €25m (£22.3m) release clause. (Corriere dello Sport)

Paris Saint-Germain are looking to replace Thiago Motta in their midfield this summer. Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante and Monaco’s Fabinho are the two men top of their shortlist to substitute him. (Telefoot)

PSG’s president Nasser Al Khelaifi and sporting director Antero Henrique are set to fly out to Brazil to see Neymar. The main aim is to see how he is getting on after his injury that kept him out of the game with Real Madrid, but they also want to make sure he is still keen on staying in the French capital despite interest from elsewhere. Rohr Reveals Reason Behind Ajiboye And Alampasu Snub

Featured Image

Gernot Rohr says it is only logical to snub Dele Alampasu and Dele Ajiboye for Francis Uzoho and Daniel Akpeyi.

The two more experienced goalies were dropped, with Deportivo La Coruna youngster, Uzoho joining Akpeyi and Ezenwa for the pre-World Cup friendlies against Poland and Serbia in March.

Rohr was asked why he snubbed Ajiboye and Alampasu, and he revealed Ajiboye was snubbed for Ezenwa, as he played second fiddle to the Enyimba man in the CHAN eagles, deputising between the sticks after he was injured.

On Alampasu, he was blunt, insisting he cannot pick a goalkeeper that has not seen playing time.

“They had already their chance, remember that we invited Dele [Ajiboye]. Dele is no. 2 in CHAN team and it’d be surprising that he is no. 1 and Ezenwa no. 2 in the Super Eagles,” Rohr said.

“We must be logical in our choices and Dele Alampasu, unfortunately, is never playing. You cannot take a goalkeeper who is never playing!”

“Uzoho made his debut for Nigeria against Argentina and did very well. He plays for the second team of La Coruna; we could see him,” Rohr continued.

“So we see Ezenwa was injured but he is returning gradually and he played with the second team at his club already so we will see who would be the fittest one but I think Francis Uzohi who did so well in the second half against Argentina could add some more competition with us.”

Dear Governor Ambode, Losing In 2019 Is Now A Huge Possibility, By Ayodele Adio

CLICK here to read more opinion articles

Governor Akinwumi Ambode has, very close to an election year, increased toll fares and land use charges, both of which have far reaching implications on the average cost of living for most Lagosians. Mind you, Governor Ambode had earlier in his administration hiked the fares on the BRT buses and has sought to tax the private drilling of boreholes. There are even rumours of a possible hike in the fee of motor vehicle licenses.

This piece was written by Ayodele Adio. The views and opinions expressed here are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of 360Nobs.com.

Shamefully, yet unsurprisingly, the elected representatives of the people have conveniently looked the other way, rather than stand up for the people they claim to represent. These ‘honourables’ put up no fight and ask zero questions, preferring to sit on the laps of the executive. When ‘honourables’ fail to walk the path of ‘honour’, a society pitifully loses its moral bearing.

Governor Ambode has performed quite well, no doubt, but elections are not merely won on the basis of performance. In fact, elections are more emotional than they are logical. As such, people are more likely to vote on the basis of how they feel and not on any empirical evidence. The governor must realise that the people of Lagos are feeling overburdened with the paying of levies and taxes, hence, increments, such as on the land use charge, can deeply hurt his electoral chances.

When Bill Clinton ran for re-election as governor of Arkansas in 1980, he lost by 35,000 votes to a republican, Frank White, becoming the first governor in Arkansas to have been denied a second term. The consensus was that Clinton lost the election largely due to an automobile tax increase which became very unpopular with the people. Clinton went on to win the next gubernatorial elections by conveniently avoiding the issue of tax increment.

In any case, the Nigerian people have an ugly history of tax increments, some of which destabilised the colonial government, toppled kings and instigated mass riots. It was increased taxes that led thousands of Igbo women in November 1929 to congregate at the native administrative centres in Calabar and Owerri, leading to huge riots across the city centres. The colonial government backed down on the tax increment and sacked the native warrant chiefs in charge.

Tax increments also led Oba Samuel Ladapo Ademola, the seventh Alake of Egba land to abdicate the throne of his fathers when Fumilayo Ransome Kuti led thousands of angry women to protest the over burdening taxation on market women. Again, the women won and several local chiefs were sacked.

It took Chief Obafemi Awolowo, who had just been released from jail to negotiate with Mustapha Okikirungbo, Tafa Popoola, Adeniyi Eda, Adeagbo Kobiowo and Mudasiru Adeniran, leaders of the ‘Agbekoyas’, to quell the 1968 riots instigated by the increase of taxes on farmers. Even recent political history is a pointer to what massive discontent can do to the electoral chances of an incumbent. The singular decision by former Governor Kayode Fayemi to go through with the competency test of teachers in Ekiti saw him lose a re-election bid, irrespective of his performance in other areas.

A simple lesson in history will teach any politician that people don’t care what you do, they only care about how you make them feel. Dear Governor Ambode, it doesn’t matter how many groups endorse you openly, the land use charge increase, as well as that on the spike in the tolling of vehicules, is a banana pill you have stepped on and which will hurt you in 2019 if you don’t fix it quickly.

Merson: Rodgers The Perfect Fit For Arsenal

Featured Image

Former Arsenal midfielder, Paul Merson believes former Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers is the man to take over from Arsene Wenger.

The Frenchman has come under fire this season, with increased calls from the fans and legends for a change in the dugout.

Rodgers almost won the PL with Liverpool and has been impressive with Celtic since taking over. And Merson believes he is the ideal replacement for Wenger.

The ex-Gunners midfielder told Sky Sports on Rodgers: “I don’t know why he doesn’t get the Arsenal job?

“He fits Arsenal great. The nearest Liverpool have ever come to winning the league for a long, long time is when Brendan Rodgers was in charge.

“He’s done nothing wrong at Celtic. To do what they’ve done, people can say it’s Scottish football and Celtic are head and shoulders above, but every team they played on that run treated it like a cup final, which is difficult sometimes – especially when you’re Celtic and know you’re better than everybody else.

“But I think he now needs a change and needs to come back down [to England].

“I’ll be shocked if he didn’t get a good job. I’d be quite shocked if he didn’t get the Arsenal job.”

CBN Injects $335.43m Into Forex (Retail SMIS)

Featured Image

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in its resolve to guarantee liquidity in the market, injected the sum of $355.43 million into the Retail Secondary Market Intervention Sales (SMIS) on Friday.

Figures obtained from the CBN on Friday revealed that the injection was to meet requests in the agricultural, airlines, petroleum products and raw materials and machinery sectors.

CBN Warns Nigerians Not To Invest On Crypto Currency

The Bank’s Acting Director, Corporate Communications Department, Isaac Okorafor, confirmed the figures, reiterating that the CBN interventions in the market were aimed at sustaining liquidity in the market as well as boosting production and trade.

Okorafor explained that with increasing accretion to the country’s reserve, the Bank is in a much better position to ensure liquidity in the inter-bank sector of the market and as such would continue to intervene in order to drive growth in the economy and guarantee stability in the market, particularly now that the economy had gained steam due to an upsurge in the non-oil sector.

How Nigeria’s Naira Fared Against US Dollar (Mar 5)

With the rates closing at N360/$1 on Friday, Okorafor expressed confidence that the Bank’s forex intervention underscored its determination to maintain the country’s external reserves in order to safeguard the international value of the Naira.

Nigeria’s apex bank also said that the country’s External Reserves is steadily growing and currently stands at $46bn.

Okoroafor stated this in a statement on Sunday that the reserves grew by about $3.2bn between February and March 2018.

Sarri Apologises For Foul-Mouthed Reply To Journalist

Featured Image

Maurizio Sarri was less than diplomatic in the press conference following his side’s goalless draw with Inter.

But the Napoli coach immediately apologised for his comments at the press conference.

Napoli’s result means they are behind Juventus with one point, with the Bianconeri having a game in hand.

Sarri was asked if the results mean Napoli’s title hopes are over.

“You’re a woman, you’re nice, so I won’t tell you to f*** off,” the Napoli boss said.

Following the press conference, Sarri immediately went over to the journalist to apologise personally.

#BBNaija 2018 Day 42: Leo And Ifu Ennada Say Goodbye To The House

Featured Image

The pair of Lifu (Leo and Ifu Ennada) have had quiet an interesting journey in the #bbnaija House; from being paired almost by default to winning the Pepsi Roc Da Mat Challenge and dodging the Eviction axe last week, their stay has been from one battle to another.

On a personal note, Ifu Ennada has been one of the mysterious housemates in the #bbnaija house. Besides having shown some emotion during her diary sessions and the kissing episode that occurred between her and Bitto, there have never been instances where she over-displayed her vulnerability.

Despite the favt that we cant be too sure that her strong demeanour was all a front, Ifu Ennada’s name can easily be used as an adjective to describe a person not easily broken.

Her patience seemed to go from subtle to strong in a minute because she’s lost it a couple of times and when she got to the climax of things, she couldn’t be censored. She represented all that she stood for and firmly stood for all that she represented.

Leo on the other hand either gave too little or just enough. His stay in the #bbnaija House has been somewhat philosophical. This lead to him being almost invisible and only ever taking centre stage when talking strategy, business, or when putting off the romance flames from Alex.

Talking about Alex, his last weeks in the #bbnaija House were almost completely centered around her and as were hers. He also let loose and confessed his ‘Like’ for her during last week’s live show, possibly pressured by the fact that she was the first to lay her heart bare.

He has however shown that he places integrity at the forefront of everything and has mastered the art of being calm under immense pressure.

The Lifu pair came unexpectedly but both #bbnaija housates gave their all to make it work. Their collaborative efforts made it possible for them to bag the Pepsi mega price despite all the controversy that surrounded the challenge.

They were also part of Team Blue, the bunch that managed to knit their brains together and come up with a concept that was convincing enough to win them the Heritage Bank Task.

Their graceful display of maturity and strategic intelligence has seen them this far into the competition and they deserve all the accolades they get.

#BBNaija 2018 Day 42: Housemates Reflections Prior To Evictions

Featured Image

The morning of day 42 stafted like any other Sunday morning in the #bbnaija House, as all the Nominated Housemates began to get their hair done in preparation for the eviction show.

It was evident from their body language and behaviour that many of the #bbnaija Housemates were nervous. Teddy A and BamBam who are obviously safe, lounged around and gave their opinions regarding who was going to go home and who will remain.

Cee-c also made it known that if she survives and remains in the house, tonight she’ll need a divine intervention. Tobi on his part said that if he survived the eviction, then people must just pack because he’s causing trouble for everyone.

There has been talk that after the evictions, the #bbnaija Housemates will be unpaired which will obviously shift the whole dynamic and change the course of the game in the house.

An interesting conversation took place between Lolu and Leo. Leo stated that he hopes they are unpaired today, but with that said he also feels it taught them responsibility and to not only think for themselves but for someone else.

Lolu feels he was paired with the most troublesome girl in the #bbnaija house to which Leo disagrees and feels that Alex is. He goes on to say how Alex loves confrontation and fights and has only toned it down because of him. Lolu said that he feels Alex is provoked by Cee-C and that is why she behaves in this way.

From Nina’s visible anxious body language to Leo outright saying that he is wasn’t ready to go home yet, there is a definite mood of anxiety in the #bbnaija House.

No one is sure of what will transpire and this has caused them to talk a lot about the game and their strategies. Cee-C was clutching at straws talking about previous Big Brother contestants and how the game has worked previously.

In the end however, Leo and Ifu Ennada got evicted.
