Andres Iniesta has refused to address speculation surrounding his future, amid talk he could leave Barcelona for China.

“When the moment arrives, I’ll say something about that,” he told Sport. “At the moment, the important thing is to carry on taking the right actions for this season.”

Andres Iniesta has been strongly linked with a big-money switch to the Far East

Previous reports suggest that the Spaniard is demanding an exit fee of £10.5m from Barcelona, payable when he parts ways with the club.

Iniesta has spent the last 22 years at Barca, coming through the youth ranks to make 663 appearances for the Catalans in all competitions.

Chris Coleman Keen To Remain As Sunderland Manager Even If They Get Relegated

Featured Image

Chris Coleman wants to remain Sunderland manager even if the club is relegated to League One.

The Black Cats currently sit at the foot of the Sky Bet Championship table, eight points adrift of safety with just six games remaining.

But Chris Coleman said: “It’s not about the division we are in, it’s about who owns the club and what the plan is.

“It won’t be because I’m saying I don’t want to be here, not at all. I wanted to manage Sunderland whichever league. It will be what is the future, who is the owner and what are the plans for the club?

“Am I in the plans? Am I not? The answer to where my future is is with someone else. I don’t know where we will be yet or who will be with me or who will be here full stop. I hope to God I am here. I want to be here.”

“We have a relegation dogfight on our hands and are a big football club going the wrong way so there is a lot happening.

“I know people look at me and see where I was and where we are now. I know it’s tough but we have to get through by hook or by crook.”

WAEC Approves Harsher Sanctions For Students Guilty Of Malpractice – To Ban Culprits For Years

Featured Image

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has declared that henceforth, students guilty of malpractice during the conduct of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) would be banned from retaking the exams for a specific number of years.

Besides, results of candidates indicted for examination malpractice as well as those involved in subjects would be entirely cancelled.

These were some of the resolutions reached at the 65th Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC) of the council held in Lagos.

The body, which met with other stakeholders on issues of irregularities arising from the conduct of the 2018 private series West African Senior School Examination (WASSCE), charged them to support efforts in addressing poor school facilities.

According to a communiqué signed by Demianus Ojijieogu, head, public affairs, the committee approved various sanctions for all established cases of malpractice.

The communique read: “In the course of considering various reported cases of malpractice, the committee, after diligent deliberations approved appropriate sanctions in all established cases of malpractice, as prescribed by the rules and regulations governing the conduct of the council’s examination.”

“It approved the entire results of candidates involved in proven cases, which attract cancellation of entire results (CER) while subject results of those involved in proven cases which attract cancellation of subject results (CSR) be similarly cancelled.

“In addition, some candidates will also suffer other sanctions such as barring them from sitting for the council’s examinations for a certain number of years.

“The decision of the committee will be implemented without delay and the affected candidates and examination centres duly informed by the council. However, the results of candidates who were exonerated by the committee will be released.”

WAEC said it will use the differentia profile application to detect examination irregularities in multiple-choice questions.

#BBNaija 2018 Day 66: Tobi Embraces His Yoruba Demonic Roots

Featured Image

Looking back to the early stages of the game, Tobi, who had found a companion in his fellow #bbnaija Housemate, Cee-C, might have looked as if he had lost his game plan as soon as the relationship commenced.

Things however quickly took a turn for the better for him when the relationship between them turned sour and he switched his time and focus back to the prize.

His relationship with Cee-C was one dimensional from the get go and frequently she had him eating out of her hand. Like a lost puppy, everywhere she is, you’d find Tobi until reality hit him and his sense came back.

From there on, it seemed like the curse was broken. The more lively and friendly Tobi, which we were introduced to in the beginning of the #bbnaija show was back with full force.

Taking no time to weep and feel sorry for himself, he quickly brushed himself up and carried on with life as if the hurt was never there.

There were days where the duo would go back and forth trying to sort their issues but that never went anywhere and it was clear that Tobi was tired of their cat and mouse games.

The day he remembered what’s at stake, he reminisced and confided to his other #bbnaija Housemates that his realisation had come just in time and he wasn’t going back and so far, he seems to mean what he said.

There was a time that there would be insults thrown at each by Cee-C and Tobi, especially after the Saturday parties and tge otger #bbnaija housemates and everyone else began to see it as a norm.

However, the Tobi we see now just lets everything pass as if it’s not directed to him. The strike he received from Big Brother seemed to have been a wake up call for him.

The birth of the ‘Tolex’ and ‘Toracle’ pair came along and he’s since been closer to Alex and Miracle in the #bbnaija House whom he’s confessed that they are the only people he knows has his back in the House.

His experiences in the #bbnaija House seems to have moulded him to choose his battles wisely and that’s the advice he appears to have chosen to live by.

#BBNaija 2018 Day 66: The Talking Couch

Featured Image

The odds of the Yes task that Big Brother came up with in the #bbnaija house seemed to have favoured Alex today because she was allowed her to do exactly what she likes, unsolicited advocating and the golden one, talking.

The card she wound up with was without a doubt a sign from the universe, assuring her that it was okay to be crazy; crazy to the point of engaging a couch.

She settled right into it and made it known that many of the viewers will try guessing what her responses would be and that she feels like the podium was meant for her.

She went on to tell the couch that she commends herself for having recognised her mental stability and a lack on the #bbnaija Housemates’ front; telling the couch to personify her a little. She went on further to say that with the steeped emotional roller-coasters that the #bbnaija Housemates have had to involuntarily endure, she also be crazy and unstable too.

She went on to tell the couch not to get her wrong and that her job is pretty; positioned here and only moved when absolutely necessary. The #bbnaija Housemates on the other hand have had to carry much greater weight than she would ever have to endure.

She went on to reveal that people should not get it twisted, as like any self-respecting couch, she actually likes the fabric from which It was cut and absolutely loathe being stained and forced to enjoy the meals the #bbnaija Housemates have, especially when it’s overly salted beans and uncooked noodles; which are to say the least, not its cuisines of choice.

Furthermore, she made it known that the couch was all for the liquid courage and fun but it just doesn’t enjoy being vomitted on and it’s absolutely disrespectful, even as it stinks. She also made it known that the couch has banned Rico Swavey from finding comfort on it when he gets drunk.

The couch through Alex also made it known that it would love to dust the disrespect off of Miracle, Tobi and Alex for thinking its right to fart on it.

Although it hasn’t been smooth sailing with this bunch, it wasn’t all storms either. I’ve had the pleasure of listening to how much they loathed each other and thought of each other as fake, saying it would laugh if it could.

The gossip sessions are the absolute best, I mean, how do they know so much about each other? The lot is so ‘personality vigilant’ that all they see in each other are faults and imperfections. What do they say about glass houses again? How I wish I could instil a little wisdom on them.

Alex went on further to make it known that the couch feels there is nothing like carrying the #bbnaija Housemates weights, watching them cry and allowing them to find solace on it.

As for their shouting matches, classic. The couch also doesnt want to have anymore of Tobi and Cee-C’s good again, bad again conversations. All in all, The couch, through Alex made it known that it will write a book about the #bbnaija housemates.

#BBNaija 2018 Day 66: Expressive Diary Sessions

Featured Image

t was yet another round of diary session in the #bbnaija House and in what has turned out to become a norm, the Housemates bore it all, and left very little to the imagination.

Big Brother’s questions varied from how they felt about redesigning their spaces, their thoughts about the ‘Yes Challenge’ and what they’d take back if given the chance to turn back the hands of time.

While the other Housemates’ responses were within the limits of the questions’ contexts, Rico Swavey, Khloe and Cee-C gave a little more.

For a while, it looked like Rico Swavey had been a bad boy and lost his place in the love play book of the #bbnaija house, especially given the fact that he is the most rejected male housemate.

His luck seems to have been renewed though because Khloe’s gaze landed on him and it’s obvious that she feels some type of way.

Rico Swavey’s response to Biggie’s question regarding what he thought Khloe wanted from him was a clear reflection of his lack of interest. He made it known that he knew very little about her and was therefore not interested in having an intimate relationship.

Seeing as he’s always shunned trouble, it looks like his feeling towards Khloe might be clouded by the fact that she seems to quite quarrelsome in the #bbnaija house.

Khloe on the other hand is adamant in her pursuit for Rico Swavey’s affection and judging by the fact that she’s watched him being curved numerous times, it wouldn’t be careless to assume that she returned on a mission to prove that someone did want him.

She told Biggie that given a chance to turn the hands of time and change an event, she would trade K.Brule for Rico Swavey because of his maturity.

More so, if her Diary session confession, her sharing a bed with him and later choosing him to enjoy her Head of House niceties instead of returning the favour to Tobi is anything to go by, it proves that this is beyond strategy and into him.

The diary session could easily be listed as Cee-C’s most selfless, perhaps due to the fact that she for once took the blame. When Biggie asked if there was anything she’d change given the chance, she mentioned just how empty she feels sometimes and said she’d wasted too much energy trying to build a friendship with Tobi and almost totally disregarded the other #bbnaija Housemates.

She also highlighted how she’s been too hard on Tobi and failed to understand him due to being too focused on herself. It seems the loner in her wants company and based on her openness, she deserves another chance at it. We’re wondering if the other #bbnaija Housemates will let her get what she wants.

The institution, which is located at Ota, Ogun State, was also criticised for allegedly using a single unsterilised hair clipper on all the students on the grounds that they might contract diseases in the process.

While many Nigerians were against the school’s decision to barb the middle of the hair of its male students, others defended the school’s action, saying the students were to blame for not complying with the rules and regulations.

However, Van Dijk has acknowledged that Liverpool must now be prepared for what he suggests is an inevitable response from the Premier League leaders at the Etihad Stadium next Tuesday.

The 26-year-old told the club’s official website: “It was massive to get three goals and a clean sheet to take with us to Manchester.

“The first half was good; there were a couple of things that could be better. In the second half we struggled a bit; we weren’t calm enough and a bit sloppy. But it was very important to keep a clean sheet and we did.

“It’s pretty clear it’s still going to be very difficult, but we just need to be well prepared. They’re going to come, we need to be ready for it and play our game.”

2015 Election: Prominent UK Website Releases Video Used In ‘Blackmailing’ Buhari (WATCH)

A prominent website in the United Kingdom has released a video of how Cambridge Analytica allegedly sought to intimidate Nigerian voters, in an attempt to influence the outcome of the 2015 presidential election.

Cambridge Analytica: How Jonathan’s Campaign ‘Hacked’ Buhari’s Medical, Financial Records Ahead Of 2015 Elections

In the 2 minutes 4 seconds video, which was made available online by The Guardian UK, graphically violent images were used to portray President Muhammadu Buhari, then a candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as a supporter of Sharia law who would brutally suppress dissenters and negotiate with extremist groups.

Christopher Wylie, a former employee of Cambridge Analytica, had told British members of parliament (MPs) that the video was distributed in Nigeria with the sole intent to intimidate voters.

Wylie, who had also revealed how an Israeli spy firm “Black Cube” was engaged to hack President Buhari to get access to his medical records and private emails, further said Cambridge Analytica directed AggregateIQ (AIQ), the Canadian digital services firm that worked for Vote Leave during Britain’s EU referendum, to target voters with the video during the presidential campaign.

Wylie, a whistleblower, has now handed the material to MPs.

In his testimony last week, the whistleblower had said: “Cambridge Analytica sent AggregateIQ the video after they [CA] got banned from several online ad networks because the graphic nature of the content violated the terms of service. AIQ was quite freaked out about it. It’s a very disturbing video. They told Cambridge Analytica that. They called it ‘the murder video’.”

Cambridge Analytica was reportedly hired by a Nigerian billionaire to run a campaign in support of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

In the video, a voice can be heard saying: “Dark, scary and very uncertain; Sharia for all. What would Nigeria look like if Sharia were imposed by Buhari? Buhari will punish all who speak against the regime…women will be veiled.”

“You can stop this movie becoming real,” the voice says in conclusion.

Mohamed Salah has assured Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp he’s “all fine, all good” after picking up an injury during the Champions League clash with Manchester City

Mohamed Salah limped off seven minutes after the interval at Anfield on Wednesday, after the Egyptian had scored the opening goal in Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Pep Guardiola’s side in the first leg of the quarter-final.

Klopp confirmed the 25-year-old, will be assessed in the coming days ahead of their Premier League clash Vs Everton at Goodison Park.

About Mo, I don’t know in the moment,” Klopp told reporters. “He came to the sideline and said he feels sometimes, something.

“That was enough for me to not even ask the doctor how he was, so we immediately took him off the pitch.

“But now we have to wait for the real diagnosis, not Mo’s self-diagnosis.”

Kevin De Bruyne Didn’t Mind Liverpool Fans Attacking Manchester City Bus

Kevin De Bruyne has revealed that there was “nothing wrong” with the welcome that Manchester City received from Liverpool supporters when their team bus was approaching Anfield

Liverpool issued a public apology to City after the unsavoury scenes prior to the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final, which Jurgen Klopp’s side won 3-0.

The City bus was pelted with missiles and windows were smashed, rendering it unusable for the return journey.

However, despite manager Pep Guardiola condemning the behaviour,Kevin De Bruyne has played it down by insisting that he ‘didn’t mind’ what had taken place before the team bus had reached Liverpool’s famous ground.

The 26-year-old is quoted by the Manchester Evening News as saying: “It was ok. I don’t mind supporters doing that – I’ve had it a couple of times for my team and it’s a nice feeling.

“Breaking windows is probably not done but who am I to say something? I am fine with it as long as no-one gets hurt. As long as you keep the violence down, there’s nothing wrong with it.”
