Mattia Perin has agreed a five-year contract with Juventus but the Italian champions are yet to negotiate a price with Genoa for the Italian international goalkeeper. Juve want to pay €12m for the 25-year-old who has only a year to run on his contract, but Genoa are asking for €20m. Perin came through the ranks at Genoa and if he does complete the move to Turin will compete with Wojciech Szczesny for the goalkeeper spot. Barcelona have agreed to pay Clement Lenglet’s €35m release clause at Sevilla. Centre-back Lenglet, 22, will sign a five-year contract at the Camp Nou and will join Barca irrespective of whether countryman and Manchester United target Samuel Umtiti renews his deal or not. Lenglet joined Sevilla last summer from Nancy for just €5m. (Mundo Deportivo)

Swansea midfielder Roque Mesa is poised to sign for Sevilla, with the Andalusians prepared to meet his buyout clause of €10m. Sevilla will pay the relegated Swans €8m up front plus €2m in add-ons for the 28-year-old, who failed to settle in south Wales and was loaned to the La Liga club in January. (El Desmarque)

Former Real Madrid playmaker Guti has emerged as a candidate to take over at Leganes. Arsene Wenger has told French television, “he has always been close to PSG” but the Ligue 1 champions have not contacted the former Arsenal manager over a role at the club. Former Monaco club president and New York Red Bulls general manager Jerome de Bontin will be named new St Etienne president within the next 10 days. De Bontin, who is a close friend of Prince Albert II of Monaco, is part of the American investment company Peak6 who are in negotiation to buy Les Verts. Ralph Hasenhuttl is poised to quit Red Bull Leipzig after the club refused to extend his contract beyond 2019. Hasenhuttl could announce his exit today following talks with director of sport Ralf Rangnick and CEO Oliver Mintzlaff on Tuesday. Rangnick is considering promoting assistant Zsolt Low and Under-19 coach Robert Klauss as a double act to replace Hasenhuttl, but Low has already received an offer to work as Thomas Tuchel’s assistant at PSG. Bayern Munich midfielder Sebastian Rudy is a summer target of former club Stuttgart. Vfb president Wolfgang Dietrich met with Bayern officials to discuss the transfer of the 28-year-old before their 4-1 victory over the champions in their final Bundesliga game of the season.
