Arsenal target Yacine Adli has dealt a blow to the Gunners’ hopes of signing him by signing a new deal with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.
Yacine Adli was handed his first-team debut by PSG on the final day of last season – by new Arsenal boss Unai Emery.
He said: “It’s a pride and a dream come true. But this is only a first step.
“I still have a lot of work to do because I aspire to new levels. My goal is to meet the first-team most often and to do my utmost to participate in as many sessions as possible.”
Adli is one of the stars of PSG’s junior sides having won two French league titles with the under-17s team.
In the past two seasons, he has played 11 UEFA Youth League games with the under-19s.
