The Senator representing Kogi West in the National Assembly, Dino Melaye, has dumped the ruling All Progressive Party (APC) and may have returned to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a video released on social media on Friday night, the senator, while calling the PDP his home, claimed that the ruling party “suffered” him.
In the video post, which has the caption “Bye Bye To Jati Jati,” the senator sang “PDP! Oh my home, oh my home, oh my home, when shall I see my home? When shall I see my PDP, I will never forget my home.”
“Oh my home, oh my home, oh my home, when shall I see home? APC suffer me o. When shall I see my PDP, I will never forget my home.”
The lawmaker was elected to the House of Representatives under the platform of the PDP in 2007, but he decamped to APC before the 2015 general elections.

However, he fell out with the APC, after a disagreement with the Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello.
The drama took a different dimension in May this year, after the police arrested him.
But when he returned to the Senate after different court cases, he decided to sit among PDP lawmakers.
