The duo spoke about a range of topics including his strained relationship with Birdman and the long road to the release of the highly anticipated fifth installment of Tha Carter series.

When asked why Drake wasn’t featured on the album he said it was because of clearance issues.

“He had a song that didn’t get cleared,” he said while alluding to songs like “Believe Me” that were meant to be C5 singles. “People be tripping when they find out who it is or when they found out what the subject of the song is about. They don’t want that to represent their names. You really don’t know why they say no, but that’s my opinion.”

When speaking on XXXTentacion’s feature, he admitted that he didn’t even know who he was until he listened to the song and the idea to feature him came from Mack Maine.

He also discussed his “Mona Lisa” collaboration featuring Kendrick Lamar and reuniting with Swizz Beatz.

At one point, the Young Money CEO opened up about Birdman’s personal apology to him during a performance earlier this year.

“I was on stage, I was in performance mode, I was trying to remember the words. Somebody actually had to tell me, ‘Oh, he apologized to you onstage tonight,’” Wayne remembered.

Real Madrid Lose As Bayern Suffer Another Defeat At Home

Real Madrid’s scoring woes are now the worst they’ve been in over three decades after failing to find the net against Deportivo Alaves on Saturday.

Manu Garcia’s 95th minute winner saw the hosts come away with a 1-0 victory over the reigning European champions, one that actually brings them level to Real Madrid on 14 points in the Liga table.

Real Madrid have not scored since that victory over Espanyol, having been kept off the board in four straight contests.

Over that span, Madrid have lost 3-0 to Sevilla and held city rivals Atletico to a scoreless draw, following those results with a pair of 1-0 losses on the road to CSKA Moscow and Alaves.

Meanwhile in Germany, Bayern Munich’s winless run has stretched to four games after Borussia Monchengladbach shocked the Bundesliga champions with a 3-0 win at the Allianz Arena today.

Today’s loss to Borussia Monchengladbach saw the team fall to fifth in the table.

Mourinho Relieved As Gutsy Manchester United Beat Newcastle

Jose Mourinho was given a stay of execution as Manchester United staged a stirring fightback to beat Newcastle 3-2 thanks to Alexis Sanchez’s last-gasp winner on Saturday.

Mourinho had presided over United’s worst seven-game start to a season for 29 years amid the breakdown of his relationship with star midfielder Paul Pogba and several other key players.

A report on Friday evening claimed United’s hierarchy had lost patience with the toxic atmosphere and would sack Mourinho regardless of the Newcastle result.

But senior United sources strongly denied the suggestion Mourinho would be dismissed this weekend, insisting he retains the board’s support following a series of abysmal results.

Despite that vote of confidence, it was looking increasingly bleak for Mourinho when winless Newcastle raced into a two-goal in the first 10 minutes at Old Trafford.

But United clicked into gear and Chile forward Sanchez, who had been dropped by Mourinho, came off the bench to bag the winner after goals from Juan Mata and Anthony Martial dragged the hosts level.

United’s first win in five games in all competitions could buy Mourinho some much-needed breathing space heading into the international break.

“I am 55 years old. It is the first time I see man-hunting. There is too much wickedness in something that should be beautiful,” Mourinho said of his critics.

“I can cope with it. Some of the boys, in spite of them not being the man that is hunted, they are not coping well with it.

“Every ball around our box was almost a goal or some mistake, a bad decision, panic.

“At half-time we spoke and the team faced the second half with a different spirit, a different belief, giving everything for the victory.”

Asked if the speculation would stop, Mourinho added: “No. I go to London now and if it rains tomorrow in London then it is my fault.”

United fell behind in the seventh minute when Kenedy parted Mourinho’s defence with alarming ease, running onto Ayoze Perez’s pass and turning away from Ashley Young before firing home as the Portuguese gestured furiously on the touchline.

There was worse to come for Mourinho three minutes later as Newcastle punished more shambolic defending, Young and his team-mates failing to get in a challenge as Japanese forward Yoshinori Muto scored on his first Premier League start.

Jeers rang around Old Trafford at half-time and Mourinho, looking increasingly desperate, made his second change at the interval with Marouane Fellaini sent on for Scott McTominay.

United finally responded to Mourinho in the second half, playing with far more passion as Mata reduced the deficit with a fine 70th-minute free-kick before Martial fired the equaliser six minutes later.

That set the stage for Sanchez to apply the finishing touch in the 90th minute as Mourinho celebrated while his name was sung by relieved United fans at full-time.

If PMB’s Government Has Pulled You Out Of Poverty, Raise Up Your Hands – Ademola Adeoye

The unsightly drama (governorship party-primary) in Lagos State that lasted for some dayssucceeded in dwarfing some other occurrences in Nigeria, especially the ongoing bloodletting in the City of Jos, Plateau State. Plateau State is considered a second home to me, because I once lived there and till now, I do have some families living and working on the Plateau.

This piece was written by Ademola Adeoye. The views and opinions expressed here are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of

As an effect of this, I do have first-hand information on virtually every happening on the Plateau, but I do not goal today to write on the ongoing evil that is being almost dailyperpetrated in that once peaceful State. My focus today is on the administration of President Buhari and the event that made the second-coming of Governor Ambode it impossible and unattainable.

For some days now, Lagos State’s governorship primary became as a school and it behooves me to share some life-changing lessons with every emerging political leader of Nigeria. This makes this piece a very important one for everyone who is planning to become spiritual, corporate and political leader in the days to come. If you read through what I am sharing here and you do not apply it to your life and leadership, you are going to become history, instead of going down in history.

To start with, any spiritual, political and corporate leader—who deliberately makes himself or herself inaccessible, unapproachable will regret it in the days to come, when he or she needs same people to lift his or her hands. Remember one of the profound laws of leadership: touch a heart before you ask for a hand. Any leader—who does not help the people should not expect same people to help him.

His Excellency, Governor Akinwumi Ambode did not lose because he is a saint and those who worked against him aren’t saints too. He lost, becauselong ago, he deliberatelychose to lose. Leaders—political, spiritual and corporate—who don’t listen and aren’t empathic hardly finish strong. I do not know His Excellency, Bola Tinubu from Adam, but this is the difference between him and other political leaders: he listens while others don’t.If he hadn’t listened to his party members, they would have rebelled against him and his influence in Lagos would have gone to dogs!

Also, no one suddenly fails in politics. As a matter of fact, failure and crash in politics is a long process. And no matter what happens, never you try to drown those who taught you how to swim, especially in their own river. I have seen mass of emerging generation of leaders in Nigeria, who are biting the finger that once fed them. This is very wrong and incorrect. As a budding leader, on the condition thatyou are all-in of swimming in a river, instead of trying to drown those who brought you inelegantly and nattily negotiate your release and go look for another river to swim in.

Away from the version of politics that folks play in Lagos, I want to hastily and synopticallyaddress a burning national issue that is giving our people what I have chosen to call—false hope. I heard over the radio that the vice president of Nigeria, His Excellency, ProfessorYemi Osinbajo reiterated that the administration of President Buhari would lift more people out of poverty. I was horrified and horror-struck when I heard that, because I do know that we play politics with every area of our national life. They daily tell us that they are pullingNigerians out of poverty yet the rich-poor gap has refused to narrow. Virtually everyNigerian is still stuck in poverty!

Pulling people out of poverty is not something we are allowed to play politics with. Some days back, a Federal Minister came on air to announce to the whole world that about three hundred thousand (300,000)Nigerians have been pulled out of poverty. The yardstick that was used to establish that those people have been lifted out of poverty was not mentioned. In every year that comes before the election year in Nigeriapoliticians usually play for the gallery—tenliven the people in order to vote for them.

Doling some cash out because a presidential election is fast approaching is not going to truly lift our people out of poverty. To truly pull them out of poverty, the government needs to focus on these four (4) critical areas and this must be devoid of our version shallow-politicsone, means-tested welfare benefitsmust truly go to the poorest in Nigeria; for example, unemployment benefit, food, income support and housing benefit. The first challenge is how we are going to determine the poorest of our people. To establish this, we need to gather the data. Anything below this will be an exercise in futility. Two, we need to consistently increase the minimum wage of our people every five year. Three, we need tourgently design free market policies to promote economic growth.  This will surely improve living standards and will definitely filter to the poorest in our society. Four, we need to deliberately subsidize housing, make free education and world-class healthcare accessible to the poor.

Lastlysince President Buhari came to power, if you have been pulled out of poverty, kindly raise your hand up, so you can be counted. Our political leaders—need to stop playing politics with the issue of poverty that is daily killing our people in large number. Our people are not happy with it.

The video game publisher Electronic Arts (EA) also expressed concern about the rape allegations against the soccer star and “FIFA 19” cover athlete yesterday.

“We have seen the concerning report that details allegations against Cristiano Ronaldo,” EASports told the Associated Press.

“We are closely monitoring the situation, as we expect cover athletes and ambassadors to conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with EA’s values.”

EA Sports also recently depicted the soccer player on its Twitter banner, but that image has been reportedly swapped for one of the “FIFA 19” logo and review quotes.

Ronaldo has since been removed from all EA sport’ other social media pages – as he is no where to be seen on the official Facebook banner for the brand.

Ronaldo To Miss Portugal’s Internationals Amid Rape Allegations

The star previously featured on EA Sports’ homepage on their website as the cover star for FIFA’19.

However, an EA spokesperson told Eurogamer the company updates its social banners for certain marketing beats.

Earlier this month, a woman named Kathryn Mayorga claimed Ronaldo raped her in a Las Vegas hotel room in 2009. A lawsuit was filed in a Clark County, Nevada court last Friday.

Ronaldo dismissed the allegations on Twitter Wednesday.

“I firmly deny the accusations being issued against me,” he said. “Rape is an abominable crime that goes against everything that I am and believe in. Keen as I may be to clear my name, I refuse to feed the media spectacle created by people seeking to promote themselves at my expense.”

“My clear conscious will thereby allow me to await with tranquillity the results of any and all investigations.”
