The WBO also had an issue with Mayweather holding the World Boxing Association (WBA) and World Boxing Council (WBC) titles at junior middleweight, as a boxer is not allowed to hold titles in different weight divisions.
“Despite affording Mr. Mayweather Jr. the courtesy of an extension to advise us of his position within the WBO Welterweight Division and to vacate the two 154-pound world titles he holds, the WBO World Championship Committee received no response from him or his legal representatives on this matter,” the WBO said on its website.
“The WBO World Championship Committee is allowed no other alternative but to cease to recognize Mr. Floyd Mayweather, Jr. as the WBO Welterweight Champion of the World and vacate his title, for failing to comply with our WBO Regulations of World Championship Contests.”
“Money”, as Mayweather is called, has been given 14 days to appeal the decision.

Ladies and gents, would you insist on the people your spouses shouldn’t work with if they were in the entertainment world? Because Deborra-Lee, wife of huge Holywood star certainly would.
In fact, she has.
The actress who has been married to the wolverine star for nineteen years(which is eternity in Hollywood) mentioned in an interview on Today Show, that her husband can work with anyone but not Angelina Jolie.
Jolie who is one of the sexiest women in Hollywood and who got with her husband, Brad Pitt about a decade ago while he was still married to now ex wife, Jennifer Aniston must have scared Mrs Jackman for real.
Hugh was present during the interview so this is for real and not some witty response.
Hugh’s wife is clearly protecting her husband but would you say she is going too far? Or is this all Angelina Jolie’s karma for coming in between Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston?
Well, you must have seen photos of Nicki Minaj‘s boobs or nipples before now but I bet you have never seen them performing with her. You’re however very much in luck today because Nicki performed in London and her nipples were also in on the fun.
The 32 year old while in London, appeared on stage to perform in a see through black outfit in a show she was already two hours late for.
But I bet her fans stopped being angry when they saw she didn’t come alone.
Kim Kardashian might be naked all the time but she wants to be the only one selling the nakedness for money art.
The reality star who has stripped down to her oily ass a million and one times, is reportedly threatening a photo agency called X17 that’s hawking her nudes.
The agency which reportedly got on a helicopter, hovered around Kim’s house and got several nude shots of her while she was outside by the pool, is apparently lying according to Kim’s lawyer, Marty Singer.
Singer claims Kim was wearing a bikini and was not entirely naked and has threatened to sue the photo agency for invasion if any pictures of the star gets out.
The Nigerian entertainment Industry is currently experiencing it’s most feminist moment since its inception (whenever that was), at no point before now, did we have so many young women ruling the entertainment Industry.
You don’t agree? Argue with your Pastor.
But if you do agree, then you would probably also agree that the women on this list are some of the most bankable, most beautiful and most influential women in the Industry.
And, because this list is about the bachelorettes who are take home to mama-ish, here are ten of the young women in the entertainment industry that we assume any man would want to put a ring on.
The Ghanaian actress found her way to this list not only because she is young, pretty, badass at what she does and a huge success, but before her career was made here on Nigerian screens and because she would have been married to a Nigerian if Iyanya wasn’t trying to be the next Collin Farell.
The brilliant actress brightened up our screens when she appeared on hit show, Tinsel some years ago and a long while after her acting debut we are yet to get over her beauty, her warmness and her sweet nature.
Introducing, Nollywood’s sweetheart (after Genevieve of course), Linda Ejiofor.
When she burst into the scene a few years back, a couple of people compared her music and style to Tiwa Savage but years after her first hit single, Seyi Shay has carved a niche for her craft and has proved to millions of people across Africa that she knows about this music thing, she is different from the others and she murdas every and any time.
Ms Nini is EME’s first lady and that is enough reason for her to be your first lady… or maybe not. But the talented singer who has one of the best voices in the Industry has shown us she is here to stay as she grabbed major awards last year with just a single.
And every man wants a woman who is there to stay, yeah?

In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the APC said that it had no afore knowledge of a petition written to the police over the matter.
”However, if, as the PDP claims, the petition concerns alleged altering of the Senate’s Standing Rules on the process of electing Presiding Officers, that is a clear case of forgery which the police have a duty to investigate. Questioning the right of the police to carry out their duties in this regard amounts to intimidating the security agency.
”Forgery is a crime that is being regularly investigated by the police, and it beggars belief that such investigation will now be interpreted to mean that Nigeria is descending into dictatorship or that democracy and the enjoyment of personal freedoms are now endangered. These claims by the scaremongering PDP are far fetched and preposterous,” it said.
The statement implored Ekweremadu, if truly he was innocent, to rise to the call and clear his name.
”President Muhammadu Buhari has repeatedly said that at every point, the law must be supreme and everyone must respect the law, if the nation’s democratic system is to survive. Extrapolating a police invitation of anyone, no matter his status, to mean the onset of dictatorship is itself an invitation to lawlessness and anarchy, which permeated the long but ineffective rule of the PDP.”
